Lovely location. Quiet and relaxing, but conveniences nearby.

We stayed here in July and had a great vacation. My kids are 10.5 and 12. Having the lake in your front yard is great. There were 2 families- we rented kayaks and paddle boards and the kids spent their days on the lake. Super convenient having a store across the street for essentials, but bigger stores still not far to drive to. Recommend this for anyone looking for waterfront access. Kayla was super helpful and responsive to all questions.

Camps were just as described in the listing.
The Camp near the water is so close to the water it is like being on a house boat. Sitting on the front porch is very nice! Yard is beautiful with lots of chairs and a table for each camp and great lake views.
Water access for wading is very easy, to swim I found it best to use the ladder on the dock as rocks surround the wading areas. Kayak was easy to launch and very enjoyable.
Neighbors on one side are owners and very quiet and other side is vacant so the sound of the lake, boats and sometimes a truck on the road. It is not remote, lots of boat traffic on weekend but very little during the week.
A general store was in walking distance and very well stocked, good sandwiches and pizza. A first for us on our annual week in Maine, and it saved us from using the car as often. We also ate at a restaurant within walking distance, saved another car ride. There is a long driveway from the road to the camps, so noise from near by businesses was not an issue.
