About this cottage rental
The Little House is situated on the outskirts of Ulverstone, a 5km drive to the centre of town. It is close to the Bass Highway, with easy access to both Devonport and Burnie, both 15 minutes away. The Little House is a private residence situated on a spacious and picturesque 3 acre block. The Little House features a queen room, a double room and a room with bunk beds. The Little House has rustic charm featuring; a television, DVD player, laundry facilities, a comfortable lounge setting along with an outdoor dining and barbecue area. Free undercover parking and motorcyclist welcome. You are sure to enjoy your stay at The Little House.

My 2nd stay & just as good as the 1st.
Andrea is a great host, very thoughtful and the property is clean cost comfy and warm. The fireplace was on to welcome us to warm check-in. Bonus packet of Tim Tams in the fridge, thank you

We couldn't have asked for a lovelier place to stay. Quick and easy to get to off the highway, quiet and restful. Handy to everything we needed. Warm and cosy inside, and very pretty gardens outside.

A great Tasmanian feel, in a cottage constructed with repurposed timber. The fire was going when we got there, and plenty of wood supplied to keep it going. Very spacious property and grounds. The hosts were very welcoming and communicated with us to ensure our stay was going well.

Lovely grounds in secluded location. Quaint basic but comfortable accommodation. Liked the corrugated iron and timber interior cladding. Would benefit from heat pump air conditioning for hot weather cooling and instant warmth when cool. Would have appreciated some small occasional tables beside settee and arm chairs for nibbles and drinks and a couple of table lamps for cosy ambient lighting. Constructive feedback we hope.

A great, quiet, self contained cottage to enjoy a comfortable stay. The wood fire was a real treat on the colder days and nights. I would recommend this accommodation.

A lovely place to land on a chilly dark night after the long ferry trip from Melbourne - the fire was going and the house was spotless. Great communication from owner. Recommend!

We had a brilliant week-long stay in this excellent property over Christmas. It’s honestly hard to fault anything about the place.
The house has lots of character and is compact, but in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. It was ideal for my wife and I with our two young children. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is nicely set up, allowing us to cook and eat most meals on site. We also loved eating in the outside entertaining area under the verandah.
The surrounding gardens are spacious and beautiful, with massive lawns for the kids to run around and play. The little ones also loved the horses and chickens just over back fence. It was in a quiet and peaceful setting, but still within a few minutes drive of shops and takeaway food options.
The only thing to be aware of is the lack of wi-fi on site. It wasn’t a massive issue for us, as we just used our phone connections to stream anything we wanted. But it’s worth bearing in mind. Overall we would highly recommend the property for short or long stays in Ulverstone. Thanks.
