Enjoyed the convenience to restaurant, host was great/ took us to airport early in morning!

No breakfast, but well equipped kitchen and grocery shopping nearby in walking distance.

The room was hot and humid and the small fan was not able to be better positioned. Perhaps the bed could be turned to allow access to both sides, especially at night to use the bathroom. Install a toilet paper holder on the nearby wall!!

The gem of Alejuela

Oscar is an incredible host, so kind and considerate and works hard to keep the rooms spotless! Good kitchen facility to cook simple meals, hot shower, clean sheets and towels, very comfortable bed, and the rooms stay cool throughout the day without a/c, the fan works very well. He offers rides to the airport too! Cleanest room I've been to during my two month stay in Costa Rica. Now my go-to when staying in Alejuela 👌

Very good option close to airport

Super clean Shared kitchen incl. Coffee Very close to airport, by tuasa bus ~ 15minutes, 700colones Restaurants in walking distance I would stay there again.

Can be noisy in the rooms if loud motorcycles pass by

Great stay near the airport in San Jose

The location was great - close to the airport and the town. Oscar took us to the airport for an $10.00 and everything went really smoothly. The room was small but clean, cosy, and quiet. The shared kitchen had everything we needed, including a fridge and a nice area with stools where you can sit and eat. Oscar was friendly and welcoming, he helped us with our bags and made us feel right at home!

Comfortable room close to airport

Clean and comfortable. We spent there 1 night before our flight and it was perfect. Check-in was easy and the host Oscar offered to drop us at the airport for a good price. He was very punctual, which we really appreciated!

We had a really good time in Alajuela. Oscar the Owner was extremly friendly and for a good price he showed us around and we went together to the Starbucks Hacienda! Room was clean and confortable, there is a Community Kitchen too. Highly recommend this place.

Superb

I liked how helpful Oscar was with getting me a ride to the airport at such a early time. 1:30 am to be exact! I really enjoyed my short stay while I was there although it was right on the road it was surprisingly quite. The room and kitchen was very clean when I arrived and he was pretty prompt with getting back to me with any questions. Thank you for hosting the space!

There wasn’t many food options that I could find in the area but it was ok because I just ordered food. But there was a large super market right down the street with everything you could need if you planned to stay more than a day or so.

Search no more, this is the best place i have found!

This place is the PERFECT stay for 1-2 nights while arriving or leaving SJ. The owners are amazing and on top of having a great place, can pick you up and drop off at airport and take you to bus station for the same cost as a taxi. OScar can also help arrange all the Covid test procedures needed. This is the best place to stay cheap near aiprort.
