Easily access the valley's award winning restaurants, shopping, xc skiing, etc. Snow shoes & toboggan provided, hike out the front door, sled on the small hill.
Our town is a quiet town and has strict vacation rental regulations so we must ask all guests to follow the community regulations and be a good neighbor.
NO LOUD NOISES
There is a second cabin built on the neighboring lot and a picture included of it thru the woods. You may see guests enter in and out of that cabin. This is a private setting in the White Mountain National Forrest with a few other cabins in the area and a few hundred feet off Route 16, some like the proximity to the main road for ease of getting around and the sounds of the river, however with this proximity you will also hear the sounds of the road at the cabin.
I have several other great cabins in the area, with the same amenities, so if this is booked look, look under my profile for my other cabins or at NHMTrentals web site.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook, hotplate, microwave, small fridge, griddle, convection toaster oven and all cooking accessories. Also is an outdoor charcoal grill and fire pit with grate.
The surrounding area and proximity to trails can allow hiking out your front door. We are so close to the Ellis River you can hear it. Snow Shoes & toboggan provided to take advantage of the surrounding trails and small sledding hill on property. Enjoy Jackson and Glen Falls nearby. Also Pinkhan Notch Visitor Center, Jackson XC Skiing Center. I can get discounted tickets to Nesslenook Sleigh Rides, Black MT and Cranmore. Tubing available at Glenn

Amazing place. Would go again in a heartbeat! Peace and relaxation and the Ellis River is beautiful.

We unfortunately only stayed the night but had a wonderful night in the cabin! It was clean, nicely arranged and decorated. I will say that I don’t understand the trash situation given that a cleaning fee is being charged. Being asked to collect your garbage and bring it to another location seemed out of the way but I definitely recommend the cabin otherwise.

We stayed here 1 night with our dog to explore the White Mtn forest. The personalized directions were extemely helpful, ensuring we found the space. The cottage is cozy and exactly what we needed. We appreciated the helpful binder of information and the ease of navigating the area. No complaints!

We couldn't have asked for anything better.

The cabin was clean and cozy! The hottub had a greasy slime around the waterline. I sent a photo to an email address. Seems like the owner was trying to pin it on us? Said the cleaners said it was fine prior to us. Jets were on when we got there; went to get dinner. When we arrived back jets were off; I opened the cover and put my finger through the scum on the line. Just saying I was not going in it. I have a hottub at my house and I know what clean means.

My son and I stayed one night at the cabin as we were passing through. We were not there long enough to truly get the most out of the cabin and grounds, however, it was clean and comfortable. I would rebook if I was in the area again for at least a couple of nights.

This little cabin was perfect for my wife, our pups, and I to get away for a weekend. We went into Conway for dinner and relaxed back at the cabin. The hot tub was down for repair during our stay, but Scott adjusted the rate which was very nice. We will be back for sure!

Searching for a quiet space with privacy for a trip to New Hampshire. This was the perfect size and had all of the amenities we were looking for.
Communication was perfect and we arrived prepared and check in was flawless. Cabin was warm and comfortable on our arrival. Cozy spot. Private enough where we didn't feel bothered. Passing cars could be heard but didn't disturb us. Zero complaints and worth the stay.

My fiancé and I stayed to ring in the New Year. The cabin was well appointed and seasonally decorated. The propane stove created warmth and ambiance that we enjoyed after a soak in the hot tub. Highly recommended!

Perfect little cabin with the most gorgeous trails along the river right across the street. Truly a hidden gem. We will be back.

The little cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. It was definitely a plus to have a jacuzzi . The host was very informative and checked in often to see if we were enjoying our stay or had questions. The only downfall was that it was too close to the hwy. I had pictured it being further off into the woods a little more isolated.

Scott's cabin near Jackson, NH was the perfect getaway! The location is superb, near the town of Jackson and Mt. Washington, with good access to amenities. The check-in process was easy, and the check-out list was very reasonable in exchange for the low cleaning fee. The cabin itself was in good condition on arrival, and exactly as described. Since we went in the summer, the area was very buggy, so bring bug spray!

My husband and I spent 1 night in the Birchwood Cabin in December. We wished we stayed longer, as it was sooooo relaxing! We were very impressed at how nicely decorated and clean this cabin was and look forward to renting it in the future. There was a snow/ice storm when we arrived, and the driveway and walkway were completely cleared. The only downfall was the cabin was located too close to Route 16, which was a bit busy. Other than that, it was just a perfect getaway!

We had a lovely time inside the cozy cabin, which is small but has everything you need as long as you don't want to cook much. It is clean and nicely furnished and decorated. The overall location in Jackson is great as well, right in the heart of the White Mountains. The only downside is that the cabin is located right off a major road, with a lot of traffic at all hours. There is no real landscapping and some sort of construction right in front of it, so the exterior is unfortunately not as cozy as the interior.
