Felt like we stepped back in time, the view of the mountains was exactly what we were looking for, and Bill was a good host. We are definitely considering another stay!

The view was absolutely beautiful! We loved the retro 70’s style. We want to go back. There were tons of rooms and bathrooms. We loved the second kitchen in the basement for the couple with a baby. It was easy to get around for older people.

I spent a good time with my friends there.

The house was beautiful and the view was stunning! The house needs updating but it has all the amenities you need.

The house is spacious and had plenty of room for the 11 of us. The view was spectacular. The house was equipped with everything we needed.
There were a couple of issues while we were there. I contacted Bill and he responded right away to help resolve the issues.
The house itself could use updating but that did not make it any less enjoyable.

This is an amazing mountain home. The accommodations and location were perfect for a summer vacation in the mountains with friends. The house was very clean when we arrived and all of the fireplaces were prepped for us.
The home is beautiful with a late 70s aesthetic and a large open concept living/entertaining area connected to the main deck which has incredible views of the White Mountains. There is a built-in sound system with an AUX cord, so you can play music off of phones. The kitchen was well-equipped and made it easy to cook our own meals during the stay. There are VHS players and a small collection of tapes. There are bedrooms and bathrooms on all three floors which made maintaining privacy while staying with a group much easier. We all had an amazing time and were sad to leave this mountain retreat.
When booking this place, keep in mind that it is situated on a mountain and the roads up are very steep. This wasn’t too much of an issue in the summer, but could be a challenge in the winter.

The house is large enough to accommodate a big family. Everyone in our party had room to move and sleep. I wish I would have been to the house when it was new, it’s a great house. A lot of character and interesting architecture/design. It is older now but we are flexible and don’t mind that; just be prepared to see a lot of broken, unmaintained items.
The back top deck is gorgeous. I loved those Adirondack chairs!! Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the gorgeous view much because of the pestering horse/deer flies. The mosquitoes were also a nuisance but manageable with repellent; the flies are another level though. Nevertheless, we were able to capture great sunsets and pictures. If anything, come prepared with zappers!
If you are a germaphobe, bring your own clorox wipes. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired but it can be tackled. Bathroom floors aren't cleaned much. The jacuzzi is a plus. There is no central air so, while 2 bedrooms can get cool thanks to the AC units, the larger rooms get very hot in summer… thank God it got cooler at night! The younger crowd wants to come back in christmas, I would like to see autumn from the back deck (dreamy).
The pass to the community center is gold! Its awesome to have that benefit, it made the trip worth while. Considering the million dollar houses being built coming up the mountain, we can say this location is gold. We visited New Found lake and Lost River Gore & Caves! There is a lot to do and explore.
Thank you!

Had a great time there, lots of great family memories made. We were at the house during the 4th of July, and were able to see a whole range of fireworks from the back deck, some far away , some close. The view of them was mostly obscured by the treeline however, it still made for a nice experience, and it was awesome not needing to drive back home afterwards!

Although this rental is starting to show its age and has some minor cosmetic issues, its pluses far outweigh them. The view is amazing, especially the sunrise. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you can find it outside and inside due to the size and layout of the house. My brother who loves to cook and is excellent at it, found the kitchen stocked with every utensil and gadget a chef of his caliber needed. Bill is a very accommodating and attentive host.

If you have a large family or large group trip planned you will not find a better place to stay in the area. Comfortable space with plenty of room for hanging out or during a meal. From start to finish our entire experience was five stars.
Highly recommend this place for your next group gathering.

We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday with our kids and grandkids and had a wonderful stay. The house has beautiful views from the back deck and had enough spots for everyone to sleep and relax. It’s a bit dated but fed into the birthday theme with kind of a 70’s vibe! Great place if that kind of thing doesn’t bother you - we all enjoyed it!

We enjoyed the fun layout of the house with lots of different hangout spots. There was plenty of room for 9 adults - and all the kitchen counter space made cooking for that many a breeze! The roads into/through the community can get pretty steep (sign recommends snow tires / ice studs), but our cars were fine without them (we had no snow - but some mud), and the view was definitely worth it - absolutely stunning! The owner Bill was very responsive and helpful - would recommend :)

Came up for a ski weekend at Waterville Valley. The house was only 20 minutes from the mountain. We had plenty of room for all kids and adults. The view from the back deck is spectacular. A great view of the mountains. The owner was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay again.

We brought a scout troop here with adults for a cross country ski weekend. Great place for a large group - plenty of space to spread out. The view was amazing. Very good location close to Waterville Valley skiing. Everyone has a great time! The pool table was much loved.

The home is a unique mix of old and new with spectacular views and warm vibes. We had a great time hanging out in the home and skiing at Waterville valley. William was very attentive to our needs and responded quickly although we were never able to get the Wi-Fi to work. Plenty of comfy beds throughout. Could use a more thorough cleaning.

This property has one of the best views I’ve ever seen! Also, it has so many beds which is amazing. Bill is extremely helpful and communicative. Looking forward to coming back up next ski season.

Great stay, weather was terrible so it made the road leading up to the house a bit tricky but overall great views and great place!

We enjoyed our stay at the Spacious Mtn Top Contemporary for our annual Winter Getaway. Our group consists of 6 adults and 5 kids between the ages 3-10 years old. The house is perfect - great space, lots of nooks and crannies for folks to hang out. The house is as described -- though, it is more outdated than the pictures show. I expected that after reading some reviews so I wasn't surprised. It was clean, which mattered most to us. The views are amazing - we even enjoyed it during our foggy stay. This house is 5 stars!
One thing for others to be aware of: the house is on a steep hill, that circles as it goes up. There is a sign at the bottom that says snow tires recommended between Nov - Mar. We went during a rainy period - no snow. But it would definitely be a challenge if you don't have the right car.

Great mountain views including Welch-Dickey Loop. The house is comfortable, kitchen is well stock for any type of cooking. Property management was responsive to our needs.

We really enjoyed the stay and the house was a perfect size for the 11 of us (little nooks and crannies for the kids to play and read). The house is a bit outdated as well as the appliances but everything did work and there were certainly enough pans, dishes etc to be used. We did enjoy ourselves very much. We even had a bear in the side yard..

Overall we had a great time. The view is something spectacular. The property needs some updating and more importantly some things needs to be fixed for a better experience. All in all it's hard to beat the price comparing it to others. Considering everything we would stay again.

Very kid friendly, has 3 floors with tons of nooks and crannies for different kids and group to hang out and socialize. Pool table with built in surrounding couches with wrap around windows, 2 entertainment screens on each floor, a wonderful sized deck, front yard fire pit 2 fireplaces with fire wood. A total of 12 beds plus 2 futons, 2 kitchens, lots of options for entertainment and family games. It's very dated, but nostalgic in a way. utilities but everything works, and is fun.

This is a beautiful location for the price. With that said, the house is very dated, and a bit moldy and dingy. Would be great to see some updates like new beds, floors, linen ect. Keep in mind though the cost of your stay would likely increase dramatically with these updates. A good balance of updates with a moderate price increase would make this house a 5 star stay.

Had a great summer stay in this exceptionally located property. Great 70s/80s vibe to the interiors. Very clean and well equipped. Good walks in the area. Recreation Centre is good with a lovely pond and 4 pools for swimming (no paddleboats though). Can recommend Mad River Tavern for food and the brilliant Covered Bridge Farm to Table with gorgeous live music outdoors.

Beautiful large house with a wonderful view from the balcony. We have already been here 2 times, once in the fall for Thanksgiving in 2020 and now in the summer for a few days with the family. The house was clean and organized. We didn't have time to use the jacuzzi but next time we will for sure. We will definitely come back here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Breathtaking views ! All essentials were included including kitchen essentials for cooking. Kids were occupied with pool table and set of games toys provided. The home can use some basic updates and fixes but can overlook considering the views.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean, well stocked and has an unparaleld view of the mountains. We simply could not believe our luck on seeing from the deck a mother bear with 4 cubs hanging around and playing in the clearing of backwoods. It was quite a sight to behold!

Good stay! Place is outdated as other reviews stated. We had to wait to check in because his cleaner called out so he as cleaning himself. Wouldn’t have been an issue but it was cold outside waiting and we were on a tight schedule that day. He was very apologetic.
The ceiling was leaking over the pool table so we weren’t able to use it.
I was excited for the what I thought was a hot tub. It’s a very large jetted bath tub in the bathroom.
Lots of kitchen supplies including a griddle which made it easy to cook.
The trash rules are strict but I am sure he’s had issues in the past.
Overall it was a good trip and perfect distance from the Waterville valley ice arena where we at our tournament.

The house had amazing mountain views. Very clean and tons of cool nooks and crannies. Access road coming up was steep and windy, could be an adventure in itself when its snowing. Was well treated during out stay. 15 minutes to Waterville Valley and directly next to Campton's ski lift.
