Pulling up to the property, I knew that this was the perfect place. The quiet seclusion, with that great view of the mountains from the deck. Then we walked into the house and the layout was exactly what I look for. Nice open kitchen, dining, and living room, with 2 bedrooms right off that space, and a bathroom in between the bedrooms. Downstairs was another bedroom and a large family room, and another bathroom. If I was to ever build a home in that area (a dream of mine) this layout would be almost exactly what I would do. The convenience to everything North Conway is just an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic location and beautiful place. Clean and spacious. Perfect for sharing with families. Could use some sort of A/C in large family room- kitchen for those hot , humid summer days and nights. Fans provided and does have ceiling fans. Beautiful new decks, great Mountain View’s. Hope to return next year. This was our Storyland trip!

This property is in a great mountain location close to N Conway. It is definitely designed for fall through spring visits, not the heat and humidity of summer. Our first few days were pleasant with the lower temps and humidity, the last few were harder to get used to without air-conditioning in the main part of the house. The ceiling and floor fans helped after the sun moved out of the east facing living room windows. Note that the description of a screened porch should be changed to unscreened with recent work to replace the railings. My firefighter son was unhappy there were no fire extinguishers. There is a no pet policy but dog fur was noticed and our grandson experienced an allergic reaction. Host was very responsive to messages with him.

A true mountain home. Great views of the mountains, large windows let in lots of light. Warm and toasty, gas fireplace was easy and and came in handy when we lost power a couple of times. Plenty of space for two groups. Jack and Jill bathrooms provide good amount of privacy. Beds comfortable, plenty of towels. Some furniture updates needed. And a thorough cleaning. Driveway and getting in and out the door could be a bit treacherous, with ice and snow and a high step. We were there a whole month. Good value.

The location of this home is fantastic if you have activities planned in and around the Mt. Washington Valley. The home is warm and inviting, the views are spectacular, and it's very private. The home is showing its age and could use some repairs, but overall it's an excellent value for the cost. Would highly recommend it!

We had a great time in North Conway! We enjoyed the house for the four days we were there. The trees were in their fall colors and that was a wonderful benefit!

We had a peaceful stay at the house which is a short drive to every thing. There’s plenty of space, the beds were comfy and we were lucky to see the fall leaves and once it finally stopped raining- the Mountain View. We could’ve used a few more pots and pans since we stayed in and cooked dinner. We would definitely recommend this home for others and hope to book again in the future.

David was excellent in communication and the home was perfect. Clean, nicely finished and well appointed. We had a heavy snow storm while there and the plough service was taken care of and was also top notch. A great experience all round!

My family and I stayed for three nights for a weekend of skiing. The house was great with plenty of space for the eight of us. Close to everything, beautiful views, house was very clean and the owner was great with communication. We look forward to staying here again!

We just spent a wonderful few days at this property as we were in town for my niece's wedding. The layout is perfect - nice big open space with the kitchen, dining, and living room - with cathedral ceilings which made it feel that much bigger. Two bedrooms on the main floor with jack and jill bathroom and two more bedrooms on the bottom floor with jack and jill bathroom. The adults stayed upstairs and the children (all 4 over 18) stayed in the basement. It was perfect! David was super easy to communicate with and even allowed us to push our departure time back a couple of hours - even though I only made the request the morning of our departure. Couldn't say enough good things about this space.

We stayed at this property four years ago and rebooked because we enjoyed it so much. We were not pleased with our experience this time. The house is in need of some TLC and a good thorough cleaning. There is significant wear and tear from constant renters. The kitchen sink was clogged every time we used it. I reach out to the owner with no response. We had to plunge it several times each day. The front steps are rotting and a safety hazard. The kitchen is is dire need of additional supplies and the cabinets and drawers need a good cleaning. There is mold in the showers. The location is perfect. The view is spectacular. The layout of the house is great. This could be a great rental again if the owner invests some time and money in maintenance, cleaning, and supplies.

Lovely view every morning! This house was as described - clean, comfortable, and just what we wanted. Close to North Conway/Conway area and we did day trips to surrounding areas. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had necessary items needed, washer/dryer available. Nice place to stay.

If you want to experience fall and all of its amazing beauty, this is the place to stay! Every room in this house looks out at the colorful fall foliage. We enjoyed sitting by a cozy fire in the evening while hiking or riding the North Conway Scenic Railroad during the day. This house has plenty of space! We were a group of five and it was perfect for us.

We've had two 3.5-week stays at this house perfectly situated in the White Mountains. The view from the house of the lovely grounds surrounding the house and the spectacular mountain range, with not a building in sight, is such a tonic for those of us from urban areas. Huge windows fill every room with light and the main room is large with a high ceiling. There are some maintenance issues: broken window cranks several places, a noisy air conditioner in the master bedroom and need for wood repair on the deck and porch. Nevertheless, we love this rental and are grateful to have had our vacations here. Be sure to visit Echo Lake State Park (5 minutes away), which has a great view of Cathedral and White Horse Ledges and a nice beach. Also, The Old Village Bakery in North Conway (8 minutes away) has magnificent scones, breads and other baked goods.

We were a family of 6 adults who stayed here for Christmas and New Year. The house was exactly as shown in the photos online. Lots of space beds were comfy, kitchen was well equipped and it was spotless. Washer and dryer were an added bonus. House was very warm and the gas fire gave a cosy feel to the living room. A short drive to North Conway with plenty of shops and restaurants and the slopes could be seen from the living room window! Definitely recommend this property.

This location was perfect for us. My wife and I came in and hosted some family for one evening while we stayed a couple nights on our own. The property was plenty big for all with great views and easy access to north conway and all local attractions.

The house was clean and comfortable. The location was in a quiet wooded area just minutes from town. Loved all the windows overlooking the mountains! We did have a few issues with the tv that were quickly resolved. We also had a few mice that decided to visit us inside the house but we fixed that problem! Thanks David for being responsive to our needs!

A perfect choice for us

A perfect choice for us

Absolute privacy on a property with beautiful views only five minutes from the center of North Conway made this a great location. The enormous windows made every space in the home bright and welcoming. The appliances, including the great wash and dryer on the lower level, were of excellent quality.. We spent lots of time at Echo Lake State Park, which has a lovely beach and also trails through the woods. It was never crowded except on weekends. Another favorite was Diana’s Baths, a sublime walk through the woods to the cascades over granite boulders (busy on weekends also). Needless to say, drives through Crawford Notch and Pinkham Notch are thrilling and beautiful back roads offer more rivers with cascades. A wonderful month here included a fabulous dinner on the veranda at Thorn Hill Inn watching night come to the mountains.

Lovely house with a layout that makes it easy for everyone to join in group conversations. Great screened in porch with deck table and chairs gave us an outside experience despite a passing shower. Beautiful view off deck. Peaceful and very quiet. Great communication from owner. Highly recommend!

Difficult to give a review of our experience as we were rained-in 7 of 8 days. So, we were very dependent on making the best of a very disappointing week. The home was as you see it in the listing. Clean and accommodating. Owner was very reachable so we really had no problems.

We had a fantastic trip at this house--it was perfect for our two young families, as one family took upstairs and one took downstairs. Spacious, beautiful grounds outside (we spotted a black bear and two deer!), and we were never more than 5 minutes from our favorite spots--Echo Lake, Cathedral Ledge, and downtown. Would definitely stay again.

We only had one issue with all the mud. Driveway and walkway was all deep mud. We had to lay down a rug to get in. We understood why, the snow melted so fast and had nowhere to go.

The property was very clean and well stocked for all of our needs. Plenty of space for the six of us and the open concept living room, kitchen and dining room was absolutely perfect especially with the gas fireplace. Very cozy-especially with the cold weather!! The bedrooms were very comfortable and plenty of space to relax and unwind. The views are absolutely amazing with the large windows. We very much enjoyed our wet getaway and definitely will be back!!
