All things considered we had a great stay.

both breakfasts were amazing. very friendly and informative for activities in the area.

The room we were in was rather tight space. The bed mattress pad was not lined up so the surface was uneven. The mattress itself was ok but would would have like a firmer one.

B&B was beautiful, hosts were friendly, room comfortable, bathrooms clean and breakfasts were exceptional!

Fantastic stay and a super host.

The location up the hill looking over the greenery and lake was very scenic. The breakfast was from scratch and very delicious.

We loved everything about our stay. However, we have to admit that it was on the pricey side.

Impeccable service. The view of the lake and the sunrise from the porch was spectacular. The location and the setting of the property in the surrounding woods made you feel like you were in a secluded spot even though you were just a stone's throw away from the main road and the nearest neighbor.

We plan to return with the rest of the family

the loft room was very clean, spacious, comfortable king bed and nice size shower. The breakfast was very gourmet and delicious. The amenities outside fire pit which the owner lit one night for the guests. There is a game room with a pool table. The owners made you feel welcomed to their B&B. We loved their dogs. The location was very close to all the wineries and restaurants.

Fabulous B&B and the breakfasts were amazing! Inn Keepers sooo hospitable.

It was the perfect weekend getaway! Very relaxing....Everything was GREAT!

The breakfasts were exceptional! The location was perfect, close to concert venue, wineries and restaurants. Great views. The bed was super comfortable.

Jeanette and Steve’s place is wonderful and they are great hosts - I’d do it again!

Breakfasts were excellent including some special treatment for the little ones. Plenty of tasty food to get started for the day. Our hosts were most generous offering use of grills and starting a fire for us each night. Lovely people all around.

Not for “be better” because the stay was excellent One thing to consider (or maybe I missed it on the booking site) is that Moonshadow’s pet, while well behaved, could pose anxiety or allergies. Maybe a note on the booking site just to make customers aware. There were no issues at all with our group.

Charming home, delightful hosts, superb breakfasts, Perfect for a quiet getaway.

Their breakfasts were OUTSTANDING. They were delicious, creative, and Jeanette and Steven used local products as well as items from their own garden. Location included a view of the lake. Sigh. The B&B was near restaurants (not safe to walk to but nearby), not too far from Hammondsport.

We went in late September so some of the restaurants had already closed for the season or were open only certain days of the week so be aware of that. Jeanette and Steven were well aware of the situation and could still guide us to restaurants that were serving good food.

Amazing location,

The location was excellent with a beautiful view of Kauka Lake and close to the vineyards. The hosts were very accomodating and always ready to be of assistance. And the breakfasts!!!

Our room was small but we managed to make it comfortable.

Everything at the Moon Shadow exceeded our expectations! The Inn is beautiful. our room was clean and the view spectacular. The breakfast fantastic. Steven and Jeannette are excellent hosts! They made us feel so welcomed. Highly recommend the Moon Shadow! ,
