About this apartment rental
This 1 bedroom 1 bath Unit has the ultimate proximity to Siesta Key Village, walk to everything, including the beach.
Welcome, beautiful, fully-equipped, and furnished, ground-floor Condominium on Siesta Key. See why we have renters who return year after year... View a photo slide or virtual tour of the unit and grounds by scrolling down.
Our clean, comfortable, centrally heated and air-conditioned condominium is best suited to 2. The master bedroom features a king size bed work or makeup area, walk-in closet. The unit features Mexican tile floors, loads of storage, a lovely and functional galley kitchen which is fully equipped for your culinary delight. The 3-piece bathroom has been beautifully renovated to include a walk-in shower.
All linens are included: high quality sheets, towels, beach towels and chairs, even fishing poles! There are two smart televisions; one is a 65” for your favorite show, wireless internet access, I-dock. The washer and dryer are just outside your door. At your home away from home, you also have the use of a large private patio, walk out pool access, a second covered lanai with a barbecue.
The unit is located in Sandy Cove 3, a 16 unit condo situated on a stunning Gulf front property (shared with three other associations). Many residents live here year round so the pride of ownership is evident - this is no 'revolving door' hotel or motel. This is why short term rentals are not permitted.
Take a leisurely two minute walk down an idyllic tree and flower lined private roadway and enjoy birds singing along the way. When you get to the end you will see our lovely original Old Florida 'Homestead' - legend has it that it was originally owned by the 'Buster Brown' shoe family. It is now used as a Clubhouse for social get-togethers, potlucks and parties or an escape from the sun while relaxing water side. This charming wood sided dwelling overlooks a huge lawn, the Gulf of Mexico, a private fishing pier, and the beach. It is breathtaking to say the least.
Back at home, simply walk out of your door and plunge into the pool (exclusive to Sandy 3) or lounge pool side (and most of the time you will have it all to yourself!). The sun concentrates between the 2 buildings and it is a lovely and warm place to read or snooze. Later on, you can go to the public beach for a long walk or bike ride and to enjoy the sunsets, the colours of which are beyond compare!
Siesta Key is a spectacular island with something for everyone. Cross one of two bridges to the island and vive la différence! Lazy days and relaxation are the norm here! For those looking for some peace and quiet, you've got it; for those who love to fish and swim in the Gulf, you've come to the right place. You can indulge in many cultural events (Sarasota is the cultural capital of Florida) or sporting activities such as bike riding, walking, snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, surfing... Native Drum Circle on Sundays at dusk. And but of course, let's not forget golf! Indeed, you can find everything here!
The island has whatever you need without being 'too commercial'. A five-minute walk to Siesta Key Village north and you will find shopping, banking, restaurants, cafés, massage therapy, aesthetics, souvenirs, and more. Bike riding is easy here - drivers aren't in a hurry to get anywhere because no one wants to leave! Siesta Key has a long fabulous stretch of white sand beach, number 1 in the USA. No word of a lie it has the whitest, finest beautiful sand. Even in the heat of the day, the 'icing sugar' composition of the sand never burns the bottom of your feet! How is that possible? No exaggeration here - there is natural beauty here no matter where you look. Have a peek at Sandy Cove from the comfort of your couch
Please note because Sandy Cove is a private condo residence a rental agreement with application must be completed and approved by a Board member. This is for the security of all in the community including you.
All rentals are limited to a month stay minimum.

My stay here was absolutely wonderful. Rebecca went above and beyond to make my stay a great experience. The complex is quiet and I always had the pool to myself. My neighbors were friendly. I would highly recommend this cozy gem to anyone!

I have stayed in many locations on the west coast of Florida and this is by far the best. It was very important for my winter stay of 3 months to find a condo that would allow my dog and that the location was ideal for taking long walks with him ...this could not have been a better location. I always felt comfortable and safe walking about the Key whether I was walking to the Village, the beach or in the quite neighborhoods. There is a beautiful tree lined private road that leads to the shell beach where there are lounge chairs, small tables and chaise lounges for sunbathing, dolphin watching and absolutely gorgeous sunsets. There is also the pier for fishing and a small horseshoe sand beach. The condo itself was the perfect size for me and I love all of the full wall sliding glass doors that make the condo seem even bigger than what it is. I had everything I could possibly need and Rebecca was the best to work with. I plan on coming back for 4 month 2020/2021 - I'm so excited, it's an awesome place to stay on the Key!

Rebecca was so easy to work with. We had everything we could think of and more in the condo. If you like to fish, this is the place to stay. It's a little further from the public beach access than I would like but we were able to have our dog on the premises and the pool was eight outside our door. We also enjoyed front row seats to the 4rh of July fireworks.

With the exception of dealing with policies of what roads in the condo community we allowed to walk on, the month's stay

We absolutely loved staying at Dolce Vita! The unit itself is spacious and beautiful! The bedroom opens right up to the pool so that was a great bonus! The unit came with everything we needed and our dog loved staying here as well! The complex is lovely and just a short walk to the fishing pier for dolphin sightings and beautiful sunsets. Dolce Vita's location is perfect and with just a short walk to Siesta Village and the ocean, you really don't even need a car to enjoy Siesta Key. We would definitely stay here again and Wendy was a great host!

Cozy unit for one or two and the owner allows dogs! Convenient short walk to the village and just a little further to Siesta Beach. Within condo's property there is lush foliage and a short walk takes you gulf front with a fishing pier and gorgeous sunsets! Dolphins are often seen! Easy access to Sarasota using the North bridge with less traffic congestion. Ideal vacation location in paradise!

This was the best vacation my wife and i have ever had. A whole month, 100 yds from the beach, 100 yds from Siesta Village. It truly was paradise for 30+ days. The accommodations had everything we needed. We would definitely return again.
