The House That Jack Built.

Nice quiet location

Host's obviously do not care about their paying guest's as they ignore previous constructive feedback regarding comfort. If you said to me I will give you £5000 if you can go out and find me the most uncomfortable settee on the planet well I've found it in this accommodation I've sat on deeper more comfortable benches. The kitchen diner is set out wrong to accommodate a huge dining table that should be in a different location and be a drop leaf to save space. The bed should be a divan it's far too low. The upstairs bathroom door creeks like he'll and needs wd40. And the stairs and landing floorboards creek like a haunted house and need refixing and quater inch ply putting over the top to secure properly. Same downstairs when the washer is on the whole place shakes like it's gonna take off. All these things are inexpensive but will fall on deaf ears due to a lack of care.

We always love a visit to the Island and this wonderful accommodation made our latest visit a very happy one!

Quiet , peaceful, spacious, beautiful area, well equipped, fields at the back with sheep! Highly recommended.

Fantastic modern property in a very quiet area on the Island.

Very quiet location with a short drive to the beaches on either the Yarmouth or Freshwater sides of the Island, and very close to the Freshwater shops. The property is modern, roomy and finished to a high standard, the beds are very comfortable and the shower excellent !

Washing machine a bit out of balance and noisy when on spin, so do your washing when you go out !

Loveky cottage which was nice and clean and great for our two night stay.

Very clean and had everything we needed.

We had a dog and the back bit of the garden isn’t fenced in so she had to be on a lead if we took her in the garden.

Very nice stay , would come again.

Location is great if you are happy to do a small drive to get to places. I liked that it was dog friendly but also incredibly clean. Hosts are friendly.

If you are tall then the parts of the upstairs bathroom is a little low. I am 5ft 10 and its was a bit low for me. That said it certainly didn't detract from how nice the place was and adds a quirkiness to it .

Exceptional

Excellent location, ideal for elderly guest in our group with the ground floor bedroom and shower. Nice patio area to the rear for sitting out with a cuppa. Ideally situated for exploring the Yarmouth and Freshwater area by car or on foot.

CCould have been one of the best properties I’ve stayed in with just a little more effort..

The location.. the cleanliness…towels.. the peace and quiet .. tv

Loose too small toilet seat that moved ..no toilet roll holders.. nowhere in shower to put your toiletries except the floor.. uncomfortable beds .. seating shabby..had a dishwasher but not enough crockery/pots to use it unless you put it on 3/4’s empty not good for the planet.. not even a baking tray for oven chips very poorly equipped for self catering ..and the first self catering property I’ve ever stayed in that did not provide a welcome basket..rubbish still in dustbins.. wrong door code..

Superb

Fabulous rural location but so close to Yarmouth! Great little set up! Well equipped!

Towels and bedding were washed but had a dull smell of smoke too!

A little gem in a lovely location

Very clean property, kitchen equipment well stocked even has nespresso coffee machine. Cottage well laid out and would have been adequate for a family of 4. Good location, 5 /10 mins drive to Yarmouth. Very quiet location so you get a good night sleep. Not far for supermarkets. Good size fridge/freezer for self catering. Also good parking and also saw a playground for children.

Nothing we didn't like, but could do with clear instructions on recycling.

In general the accommodation was fine and the issues mentioned above were sorted quickly.

The location was perfect for day trips out.

The kitchen could do with some more utensils, cafetiere more plates and mugs so you didn't have to put the dish washer on after every meal. The fire alarm batteries needed replacing on arrival, the outside bins still had some rubbish in them which could have been emptied. I put the issues down to post Covid first rental issues.

Enjoyable on the whole but always anxious about whether we would be able to use the car.

Directions not clear enough. Internet password wrong. Fortunately obtained from next door Only told of all three roads to the cottages being re surfaced all week and blocked, as we arrived. The firm must have known about this several weeks before .Roads blocked by large vehicles. Workmen very helpful Had long walk one day.

Quiet, well appointed holiday cottage near Yarmouth ferry terminal

Lovely location, short drive from Yarmouth ferry terminal. Comfortable lounge area and bedrooms, excellently equipped kitchen, flat screen TV, reliable wifi, efficient heating and hot water system. Parking outside.

Very minor suggestions - toilet roll holders in both bathrooms. Visitors should take own toiletries as none provided. Bedside lamps difficult to use - flexes should be longer as plugs are badly positioned. No shower curtain in upstairs bathroom.
