Three generations stayed in the house. Incredible location. Great amenities! Huge kitchen. Loved the pool area and amount of seating.
Loved the fire pit area! Deep cleaning and cosmetic maintenance needed in some areas, but would stay again! One of our favorite vacations as a family.

Upstairs got really hot, towels were crappy and downstairs had an awkward layout. But other than that, everything was awesome. Close lake access, great pool area and huge, well-equipped kitchen. Really soft sheets and comfortable beds, beautiful views, great coffee bar, plenty of parking, fridge/freezer space. They have a great welcome package of snacks and laundry/dishwasher/dish soap.
Watch your feet on the 4th pool step!! They need to put markers on it 😂

The house was fabulous. It had all and more than expected needs met. Between the pool, the lake, dock for fishing, kayaks, fire pit, etc. it was very entertaining.
We would definitely come back. The location was convenient to stores and such.

Our group of 10 had a wonderful time at Marlin Houzz. The home had more than enough space for our group and is perfectly located away from town but close enough for daily excursions. The high quality of the kitchen appliances is a definite plus. We would absolutely stay again.

This property was a great choice for our extended family vacation. There were plenty of bedrooms (6), plenty of bathrooms (7), a dining area that could seat as many as 25 people, a wonderful infinity-edge swimming pool looking out on Lake Hamilton (we spent most of every afternoon in the pool), a magnificent entry area with a fantastic Chihuly-like chandelier, grand piano, and circular staircase, and a large, well-equipped kitchen. There were also kayaks, and three of our party had a race across the lake and back in the kayaks - unsurprisingly, my grandson who spent five years in the U.S. Marines won the race. According to my granddaughter, the master bedroom was bigger than her entire apartment. The master bath included a two-person Jacuzzi tub, a walk-in shower with three shower heads, two toilets in separate rooms, and one of these also had a bidet. Very, very nice house! I can't say enough nice things about the house.

The house was everything we expected and more. Even with a large family we had plenty of room. The kitchen was nice with all the cooking equipment you could ask for. We cooked many meals of family favorites and clean up was a breeze with the two dishwashers. We enjoyed the infinity pool and spent many hours of the day in and around it. We rented a pontoon boat and spent a few days on the lake pulling kids on the tube. Enjoyed riding and seeing the beautiful homes around the lake as well. We do plan to book again in the future.

Very nice house right on the lake. Extended family enjoyed the stay. Group played golf and another group toured the town. The pool was cold for the adult but kids really enjoyed it. Plenty of room to sleep for our 2nd night. No AC in the bunk room where 10 family members stayed. Handyman tried to fix it but it never got below 80 so we had to put people on the floors and around the house. Handyman was in contact with us but he couldn’t fix it. We weren’t prepared for that. It was hard to ask family to pay their part so the weekend ended up being a bit of a strain for us as the host who pick up the majority of rental. Haven’t received a return email from rental agency about the problem.
Not a complaint about the house but we had a learning curve using vrbo .. we weren’t prepared for the extra costs added on when searching for the right place. Big cleaning fees and security deposits. You also have to really look at the check in and check out times. Can’t check in till late in evening and you have to be out before 10. Didn’t seem like we got our moneys worth. Live and learn.

This is the second year that our group has stayed at Marlin Houzz. It has been the perfect spot for our Senior Trip. The accommodations are great for our party and the kitchen is a dream. Cooking for 20 people is a breeze in this amazing kitchen. Everyone has room to move around in this incredible space. Plus the views of the lake are gorgeous. We are already planning to come back next year.

Although our experience thru the stay was excellent, We have not had our deposit refunded or any communication about our deposit in six months. I have left multiple messages right after the 30 day post stay period passed with no responses at all. Very disappointing which ruined an otherwise absolutely wonderful stay!

Everyone in our group loved the Marlin Houzz. In fact, several people refused to leave the premises because of the amenities available at the Marlin Houzz. The ice machine and games were a nice touch and the art is well done.

Suggestions for improvement: The room next to the garage was stuffy. We could not find the air conditioner for that room. Everyone on the team was very helpful and courteous. I could not find the check-in code due to my misplacing the e-mail, but a quick call to the team remedied the situation immediately.

Everything was perfect other than ants in the kitchen and attached bedroom. It was only a minor problem and easily remedied by the second day. One suggestion might be to add basic cable. The elderly in our group missed watching the news. We had a great time and plan to return next year. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful.

Loved The Marlin Houzz! Enough bedrooms AND bathrooms for our large family, and plenty of privacy. The kitchen- great room was our gathering place. You will not find a more beautiful and beautifully equipped kitchen! And the pool! The kids lived in this fantastic pool looking at our great view of the lake. Matt just put in a totally new deck. Beautiful and completely top notch! A great great property. If there was one thing I could add that this wonderful house could use is more towel racks. Loved our stay! First of all Matt and his team are fantastic. We have a physically disabled member of our family who has a specialized wheelchair that is very large. Matt actually reconstructed a shower so it would work for our son-in-law. Matt also promised and totally delivered on several other projects. It is great to deal with someone who does what he says he will do. And his team is great too. Really nice people.

Marlin Houzz is an impressive property that is well maintained with beautiful views of Lake Hamilton. Our family of 22 had
more than enough room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Matt and the Bluesky staff are amazing. They quickly accommodated our needs with courtesy and professionalism.

Overall, this was one of the best vacation homes we have stayed in. I would highly recommend it and look forward to booking it for a week again next spring. The members of their team were very professional, efficient and kind.

Some general comments: need hooks in all rooms and bathrooms to hand towels and clothes. Dock lacks common area to sit, lounge, store coolers, etc. Ladder on dock might be better farther out into the water.
Overall everything was great and we really enjoyed our stay.

The only issue that we had was the outdoor room was not able to be used because there were bugs in the bed, therefore we were not able to use that room.

The property overall was great! The floors are really dirty (black) in the traffic areas in the kitchen/family room/traffic paths.
The garage guest room was musty and the a/c had a dirty film on the vent. There were also spiders and cobwebs. We chose not to use it since we had that option. Although we would not have felt comfortable in it. The house just needs a deep cleaning in general. However, again, we really enjoyed our stay and would rent it again, even in the same condition.
I was disappointed too never receive a response to my request though.

The property was fabulous. I would highly recommend an exterminator asap. You have a serious ant problem in the master bath and various rooms downstairs. There are spiders running around in the downstairs den off the kitchen as well. The Team was fantastic and extremely helpful

Vacationing at the Marlin Houzz was a fantastic experience for our family. The house is beautiful, spacious, and FUN! Lots of enormous windows allowed perfect views of the patio, pool, and the lake. The kitchen was a dream and we all really enjoyed taking turns preparing meals. The size of the home and the privacy of the king size rooms made our stay comfortable and cheerful. I only wish we had planned to stay longer. Matt was easy to work with as I planned our family vacation. He answered all my questions and kept me up to date with information I needed. I cannot wait to start planning our next trip to Marlin Houzz!

We had a great time. The house is gorgeous. Wish the pool had a heater, but it was beautiful. The tiles floors were absolutely filthy, could not walk around barefoot. Overall the house met our needs and was awesome!! Thank you!

we had a wonderful week. with 12 adults and 13 grandchildren, we found the house that will take care of us all:) overall the property was clean, but the kitchen floor was fairly dirty. it could be because of the grill/griddle etc.
