Stayed here with friends and family for a couple of nights and we were very comfortable and had a great time. House was well stocked with blankets, towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc.. The hot tub was a perfect addition!
5 minute drive to Killington, which was real convenient. Yvonne, the hostess, was very responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at Yvonne’s house which is right on Killington Access road. The house was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The kids loved hanging out in the tree house. The hot tub was perfect after full days on the mtn. Yvonne was excellent as communication, we will be back!

Overall good stay. Good space and location to mountains/restaurants. Host does take a bit to respond to questions in the app / had to follow up as others mentioned. The temperature in the house is set to 55 degrees so tough to walk into in winter if you can’t check-in early. Unfortunately, we had a weekend where the wind chill put the temps into -40’s. We noticed the temperature wasn’t increasing from 55 after a couple hours and had to call the host. She was quick to get her handy man over, who noticed a frozen pipe and no oil in the tank. Bit surprised to be out of oil in winter but was able to resolve it quickly and had heat the rest of the visit.
Enjoyed the proximity to restaurants/bars/ski lifts, the ample parking, hot tub and plenty of firewood.

We had a good experience staying in the house for almost a week. It provides a good size for a family and is very close to the Killington Ski area. I want to point out some of our experiences though.
1) Felt like it's has been a long while since nobody stayed in the house because when we got into it, we observed the dust on the floor, kitchen and sofa.
2) We found there was no heat in the living room on the 1st floor and reported it to the manager. We appreciated that she immediately assigned somebody to come on the second day, and the problem got to be fixed quickly. But the first night was still tough for us. Hopefully, the manager can check these systems and make sure they are running well before the customers' check in.
3) The condition of the house is a little old. My husband and I slept on the 1st floor, and we woke every day to the sound of the 2nd floor, even though my parents were really gentle about walking around.

We loved staying at Yvonne and Rich’s home! It was so much fun. The kids were in the treehouse the whole week; drawing on the chalkboard, coloring, watching tv, and blowing bubbles off the deck. We bought a telescope we have from home and enjoyed a lot of stargazing at night. We had an awesome fire pit and hot tub experience!!! Yvonne was amazing and had so many recommendations for food and things to do in the area. Thank you so much for this awesome experience. We hope to stay again!

Fantastic Place - Outdated Description
This is the perfect house for a ski trip with some friends or family. It has two very spacious living areas. Two decks that wrap around part of the home, and a hot tub. The tree fort was out of commission when we arrived which was not reflected in the description when we booked. We were planning on using the heated tree house as an extra bedroom, but there was no bed in the treehouse and it was full of dirty blankets and pillows. In addition, the description stated that we would need to provide our own linens and towels. However, the house had linens and towels on all the beds when we arrived. The description also said to bring dish soap, TP, paper towel, etc. However, again it was fully stocked. So we brought a lot of extra things that were not necessary due to an outdated description. But like I said, the house is awesome, we thoroughly enjoyed. We did end up having to share a bed since the treehouse wasn't available, but we made it work. I would definitely book this place again. Especially knowing what I know now.

Great Skiing weekend
Great place to stay. We went with a group of 8 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 5 for 4 days of skiing. Hot tub is awesome after several long days of skiing. It's easy access to Killington and Pico, I believe it was 8 minutes to Pico and probably the same to Killington but we went to Skyship gondola about 12 minutes away. Can't speak to much other local stuff because most of our time was spent hanging at the house or skiing. Plenty of room in the kitchen to cook meals, Dinning room table only seats 6 but it's an open area with the upstairs living room so unless you're really into formal dining it's not an issue. The upstairs has a living room with traditional log fire place with plenty of wood in the storage space outside if you're into that classic wood fire thing, easy area to gather with the adults. The youngest of our group loved the tree house but the basement gathering area is perfect for teens or young adults who want a different vibe than the old adults who gather around the kitchen and main living room.
Having 3 bathrooms is great, basement one has a cold floor so bring slippers. (It was also unusually cold when we were there, wind chill of -30. Probably more cold on the floor than typical, also made it interesting having your hair freeze while in the hot tub.)
Tree house is awesome, There are 2 levels to it, the top is super cold but had a DVD player/TV, the lower level has the heaters but and a TV with cable. Wifi works great out there so we just plugged in our firestick and watched Encanto (again) and had snacks.. there is a slide on the outside of the tree house that is pretty epic with the amount of snow.
For more family entertainment the owner also has sleds, DVDs, and an x-box available. We didn't get to use them as we were only there 3 nights, but this place would have been great for a longer stay.
Great location, great amenities, and a unique addition to the home.

Good property
Property was good. Tree house is great, even our teenaged kids enjoyed it. Hot tub was great after a day skiing. House is OK, was tight with 8 of us, so no way would be comfortable for 10 or 12. Dinning sits 6 and there's no other chair or counter to sit. Kitchen/ dinning/ family room area isn't for more than 8 people. House was very cold when we arrived (55F) and the heating system took about 4 hours to warm up to 68, so we had to sleep with sweaters - it would be more welcoming to use wifi thermostats and have the house at a reasonable temperature upon arrival, as we understand it wouldn't make sense to keep the house warm when empty. We also had issues with water pressure where we could only shower one at a time, owner tried to solve issue, but being a weekend couldn't get it resolved. Normal wear and tear for an old property, but was still very inconvenient for us. House is fairly messy: laundry has a huge pile of towels and linens thrown on top of washer dryer, there's an Amazon box with some delivery items next to the couch, the dishes are an assortment of 3 or 4 different sets, there's a single wine glass, etc. Communication with the owner was below average, many times taking over 24 hours to reply to messages before check-in and requiring a 2nd message to get a response; and the telephone numbers provided in the Welcome letter were all bad (2 disconnected and 1 going to an office voicemail) so getting a hold of the owners during the water pressure issue (we thought it was frozen pipes!) was challenging. All in all, we had a good weekend, but I wouldn't book this property again. Nothing especially wrong with it, but we've had much better options for a similar cost.

Great location for a couple days of skiing at Killington. Hit tub was nice after a day on the mountain. All the beds were comfortable and the host was responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend.

Great house, great location.
The property is great and in a very convenient location. Shops right down the road made it easy to grab last minute goods. Had we skied at Killington it would have even better as the mountain is only a few minutes away.

Nice place
Overall positive experience.
Plus side: The place is clean, and close to everything. Everything is well prepared and easy to use.
Down side: The tree house is a little disappointing. It is not the same on the listing. The other thing is we accidentally left our favorite toy in the house, tried to reach out to the owner couple times, but we didn't get a resolution.
Overall, we had a positive experience. It is a nice family getaway place!

Great house for our short stay needs
After a family wedding in Burlington we got together with my brother in law and his family, as well as my mother in law, for three days in Killington. This house was a great location to “town” and the treehouse was a big hit with our kids. The area was super quiet and there was tons of space both indoor and out for everyone to spread out. Highly recommend for two families with small children!

Family and I had such a great time here. The rooms worked out so well, and the kids loved the tree house!! The rain didn’t stop us from enjoying the yard and making our trip a memorable one. Property was very clean and owner was always responsive and provided us with plenty of local activities.

Great family vacation hone
We’ve been coming to Killington for winter break to ski for a number of years but until this year had not found a great vacation home. This was the perfect vacation home for four of us. Between the two floors, there was plenty of room to spread out, peaceful location, easy access to either Snowshed/Ramshead or Skyeship Lodge/Bear Mountain Lodge. . Yvonne was very responsive to the couple of minor issues we had. Hot tub was a welcome treat at the end of the day. The treehouse was a huge hit with the kids. Also very easy to get to restaurants. Some do deliver such as Sushi Yoshi and iPie. We loved this house and we will be back.

Loved it????
This was the perfect place for a Vermont getaway. The house was spotless when we arrived until my kids got there and made themselves at home. They loved having a treehouse like that. It was more like an apartment. The mountain is super close. We hiked right from the house one day. Yvone was very helpful giving recommendations around town. We would definitely come back again

Fall Weekend in Vermont
We had a lovely stay, the views of the foliage were awesome from the deck. The kids had a ball in the tree house, and can't wait to come back this winter. The house was very clean and the perfect size for our group, with 2 living areas plus the tree house we never felt like we were on top of each other. Yvonne was great to work with and answered all our questions before and during our stay. We will will definitely be back!

This place was awesome!!!
My kids absolutely loved loved loved the treehouse. It was right outside the house and we could actually see them well as we were watching a movie upstairs. We traveled with another family. The house had a nice layout for one family to be upstairs and my friends downstairs. The separate living rooms and treehouse helped let The older teens have their own space while the little ones watch cartoons. The house was very clean although when we walked in you could smell the strong cleaners, but with Covid and all it was a welcome sent that quickly dissipated. I am the type of person that that cleans for my cleaning lady and I clean the rental houses as soon as I get there but there was nothing to do here. That was a welcome surprise. The beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit in the cool evenings. S’mores were a hit with the kids. The house was close to all of the main attractions in Killington having never been there it was nice to be so close to the restaurants and activities up at the mountain. The host was very easy to get in touch with and was helpful. She helped me with the keyless door lock when we first got there. I kept hitting the wrong button and she quickly responded resolving the issue. Can’t say enough about this property it was a great find. We are already looking at dates to come back in the winter so the kids can ski and get back to the extreme treehouse! Thanks again Yvette I really loved our stay.

Not what we expected....
We were supposed to be in this house for 6 nights. We made it 3. The first night we had a surprise guest show up (a mouse). There were no traps in the house so the owners did drop some off the next day (along with wine which was nice). The grill had no propane and when I ran the dishwasher water/soap went everywhere. The 3rd night about 10 to 12 people showed up at the house next door that are owned by the same people and there was no social distancing and they were extremely LOUD with their party. We could hear them screaming and blaring music till 230am. Both houses share a driveway. By the next morning we had caught 3 mice on 1 trap. It was one thing after another and we had enough for the amount of money we paid for this place. Great location, great hot tub and our son LOVED the treehouse but enough was enough. Yvonne was understanding, but ideally it was not what we expected and we were extremely disappointed.

Great Place, Great Location
What a Great Place! Yvonne was great and very helpful. The location of the property was minutes from everything. We found a beautiful spot down the road to fish, swim, kayak and just relax on a beautiful secluded spot with natural waterfalls. The Extreme tree house was definitely extreme. Kids loved it and so did some adults. Haha. We will definitely be looking to book again soon. Thanks again Yvonne!

Perfect ski house for 2 families
Amazing rental ski house directly off of the Killington access road.
The bedroom layout makes it perfect for 2 familes that have children. One family upstairs with adults in the Master bedroom, and kids in the room next door with 3 single beds (including bunk beds). And the second family downstairs with adults again in a room with a Queen bed, and kids in the next room with 3 single beds (including bunk beds).
Kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and utensils for cooking family meals at night. Laundry room was high quality - and we were using the hot tub so much that we needed to do a few loads of towels! The location was super convenient to get to the mountain in the morning, and close to everything else on the Access road for entertainment for the people who didn't ski. The TV room downstairs (along with no TV in the sitting area upstairs) makes it convenient to send kids downstairs while the parents can stay upstairs and chat in the evenings.
Great house, would love to come again!

Very clean, extremely comfortable, and excellent location!
We want to come back next weekend! Right away my family, guest, and myself felt right at home. It was cozy and spacious, exactly what you want your ski chalet to be! We had 8 adults and 2 kids and we all sleep great with comfortable beds. Yvonne was the sweetest and very speedy on the reply. Mountain and town were less than 5mins away. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

March Weekend Stay
We loved this house! It was super cozy with more than enough room for my group and the treehouse is such a cute touch. My group was 7 adults (a mix of couples and singles) and there was more than enough room for us to all have our own space. There are also two separate living areas which is nice of you have a larger group. For the most part, we hung out in the downstairs living area that had three futons, so it was comfortable for everyone to sit. Also, there were actually more beds than expected, with a queen bed in one room, a king in another, and then a twin bed with a twin bunk in the two other rooms (sleeping up to 3 people in each). The kitchen was fully equipped and updated. However, please note, my group only cooked breakfast in the house and we went out/ordered-in dinner on Saturday night.
The location is great. It’s right off the access road so it’s close to the slopes. As someone who likes to be on the 8am gondola, this was very important to me. I would recommend having a car, but with cabs and free transportation to/from the restaurants and bars, it’s not necessary.
My group loved everything about this house. We hope to be back next year.

We had a great ski weekend with 2 families staying in the house. The kids had a great time playing in the tree house.

Location to restaurants and mountains. House is best for 2 families with some kids.
The house was situated close to restaurants and Killington mountain. The upstairs common space and kitchen are great for gathering, and the decks and outdoor space would be useful in the warmer months. The house is set up best for 2 families with children, but less ideal for several couples. The house was somewhat disshelved upon arrival with closets stuffed with blankets, sheets and other items that appeared to be thrown there. Their was some garbage and dirty clothing left around the home and property when we arrived. Overall the house served our needs adequately for a short weekend, but would likely choose another location for our group on future visits.

Another great stay at the Vermont Treehouse!
This is our third Thanksgiving staying at the Vermont Tree House as we call it. Great accommodations, very well equipped. Our entire family had a fantastic weekend...6 adults, children 6, 4, 3, 1. Tree house is so fun! Would sleep there if it had a bathroom. Great yard for playtime. The house is close to the mountain as well as shopping and of course the Inn at Long Trail. Homeowners are very accommodating. We needed some items for the children and they made it happen. Looking forward to next year.
