“Bresnahan” has stunning sound views that surround you from the living room, dining area, and both front and side decks. This 4-bedroom, 2- bathroom townhouse is located on the southern end of Wrightsville Beach - close to the Oceanic Restaurant, Crystal Pier, coffee shop, surf shop, and beach access only a short walk away. Watch the sunset from the shared dock that is located across Waynick Boulevard or from the comfort of your porch. This home is paradise for guests that plan to travel with boats and crave easy access to the waterway!

The living room has wall to wall windows that let in tons of natural light which also gives guests a front row seat to all the action that takes place on the waterway. The comfortable sofa doubles as an additional sleeping area for families that need to utilize the queen sleeper sofa. There is a half bathroom nearby for convenience and added privacy. A large dining table and bar seating provides ample space for families to spread out and still enjoy each other’s company. Plenty of counter space makes meal prep a breeze and the clear view of the water makes cooking enjoyable!

The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed and has a private bathroom. A full bathroom in the hallway houses the washing machine and dryer – a big plus for travelers! At the end of the hall there are two queen guest bedrooms that have a very cozy feel. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds and is a great space for younger family members.

The boat slip can accommodate boats up to 27 feet, so load up your boat, pack your gear, and come experience all that Wrightsville Beach has to offer!

Poor quality stay. I could have paid about a third of the cost to have the same experience at a cheap motel. The property management company has great skills in communication and competency. Which is why it is shocking that they would represent a home that is so poorly cared for. There was an issue with cleanliness that I reported right away. Pubic hairs and stuck-on liquid body wash in the bathtubs. Fecal matter on the back of one of the toilets. I demonstrated in photos to the property management co. how a light switch was black and I simply used a Lysol wipe to make it a crisp white again. To be fair to the company, they were so apologetic and even sent a cleaning crew to attempt to help. Unfortunately, the crew came at a very inconvenient time. It was difficult to schedule a time for them to come since we were also trying to enjoy our brief vacation. However, a cleaning crew could not make amends for many other issues that this property has. The carpets are stained black on the most trafficked parts. The walls are the worst because they had so many marks from what I assume to be tiny hands and feet from previous children. I tried to wipe some of the marks off but was unsuccessful because it's such cheap paint that it absorbs every smudge. The sink in the front bath has a gaping hole in the base that a persons whole fist could fit through. If the carpets were ripped up and replaced with the same vinyl flooring found throughout the rest of the home, fresh high quality paint, a more carefully selected cleaning crew, this place could be absolutely amazing! The views are picture perfect. The location can't be beat - 2 minutes from the beach, the docks, a restaurant and coffee shop. It just feels like the home itself has been abandoned by the owner and the management company is having to make up for all the pitfalls. Some other properties have an 11am checkout but this one is 10am, an oversight on my part that caused us to check out an hour late. The property management waived the late fee since our experience at the home was not ideal, so that was kind on their part. Do not stay here if you have children under 3. My youngest is 20 months old. Within minutes of being there, he found a piece of leftover food on the floor that he put in his mouth. Later he almost got his fingers behind a loose outlet cover. Had we not brought our dog, we wouldve left to find other accommodations. We just cleaned best we could and thankfully brought our own linens.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at this sound-side location. We brought our 17' center console and absolutely LOVED being able to hop on our boat at any time and we did! We also rented a golf cart so we didn't even need our car the entire trip. We even went to lunch by boat and visited the local seafood market (Motts) by boat which was great. We found the accommodations fine, kitchen had all we needed, but more sparse than other rentals we have had, and some updating would be great, but honestly having the dock, sound-side beach, and beautiful sunsets made me totally forget anything lacking inside! We barely hung out inside! We had family staying around the corner on S. Lumina and their house was Pinterest worthy for the same price, but they were not ocean or sound front and no views. Everything was in working order for us during our stay. For us this was a perfect spot and Pinterest-worthy wasn't really important to us, but sunsets and boating were! Plus the downstairs neighbor was really cool. Would definitely stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We checked in to find a maintenance man in house to repair Washing machine; said would be fixed by Tuesday; had to reach out every time for any kind of update. The washing machine did not work our entire stay; huge inconvenience not being able to wash any clothes or towels. Also arrived to a huge planter filled with cigarette butts on porch, along with a spaghetti noodle stuck to ceiling in den, not sure if housecleaning was here or not before our arrival. Dishwasher also broken, The house is terribly out of date; there is no garbage disposal, water pressure in kitchen is almost non-existed, therefore making it Extremely hard to clean anything, especially without a functioning dishwasher. The outdoor shower does not work. The broom on site is probably 5 years old. On a positive note, the location and view is fabulous; if the owner were to invest in updating the place with appliances, furniture, towel racks, etc the place could be lovely.
