What a wonderful place, every bit as awesome as the photos and description make it look in the listing.
The home is modern and spotless, the couches and beds are comfy, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to use it (appliances, spices, basic coffee necessities, etc), there's great hang out space and even a record player with great vinyl to spin. The hot tub is the best place to take in sunset and moonrise and if I could sit and have my coffee in that backyard with the bunnies and cacti everyday I'd be a happier man...
The hosts were communicative but never intrusive, the instructions about the house were helpful but not overbearing.
A 10 minute drive from the entrance to Joshua Tree, and 5 minutes from "downtown" Yucca Valley which has really anything you need.
I would give this place 6 stars if I could.

We enjoyed the amenities offered at this conveniently located property. The hot tub and quiet neighborhood were a plus. Joshua Tree National Park was a special place to visit for our first time and definitely worth another visit! We wouldn’t hesitate to return here for future trips.

Nice place, however the street is very busy (45MPH speed limit so it was fairly noisy. Nice view of the sunset in back but could use a shade or something to diffuse the blasting sun. Outside could use a little TLC, after the wet winter they have some pretty tall weeds. Had question for the owner who responded very quickly.

Loved that we were so close to Joshua Tree park entrance. Local restaurants were friendly and the food was delicious! Would stay here again if we find ourselves visiting JT again.

We had a flawless stay. The home and property were clean and beautiful. The view out back was a perfect place to enjoy nature and watch the sunset. The location was close to everything. We would 100% stay here again.

This home was very comfortable and clean. We loved listening to some records and relaxing after a day at the park. It was about 10 minutes away from the entrance to the national park and a 40 min drive to palm springs.

Marcos's house in Yucca Valley was perfect for a stay in the desert. Quiet, spacious, well-maintained, full of little comforts that go above and beyond. From the record player and vinyl collection to the backyard hot tub and firepit, it made plenty of opportunities to spend time together while we weren't out exploring Joshua Tree.

This is one of the best VRBO properties we have rented. We were particularly impressed by the thorough cleaning. It is much cleaner than most properties we've visited. It has more space than the pictures suggest. The beds are very comfortable and communication with the owner was easy. We strongly recommend!

We loved staying here while visiting Joshua Tree NP. The house was perfect for our family of 4. Everything we could need was there and felt very comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the National Park and then catching the beautiful sunset from the hot tub.

Great spot !
Really enjoyed our stay here and made use of all it had to offer. Hosts were very communicative, house had decently appointed kitchen and enjoyed the hot tub and the open desert back yard. Records were fun too! Convenient access to grocery store and easy drive into Joshua Tree NP.

Lovely home
A perfect place for six people. I love that the back yard only have fences on the two sides and the front, leaving the backyard lookout view unobstructed. Easy to get to Joshua Tree National Park and downtown of Yucca Valley.

Desert sunsets and stylish comforts
My partner and I adored our time here! This home was outfitted with everything we needed to cook in the kitchen and on the grill. We enjoyed charcuterie boards, steak and potatoes, chicken Caesar salads, and tasty brunches with the background of incredible sunsets, cholla cacti, and Joshua trees. The hot tub is brand new and just the thing to heal aches and pains from bouldering at the west end of Joshua Tree National Park. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms filled with fluffy towels and high end toiletries in case you forgot something. We had a small miscommunication that Marcos and Christina responded to immediately and ensured our stay was worth our while. Their spot is picturesque but still close to all the modern conveniences of yucca valley and the west entrance to the park. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who wants to play hard and relax harder. Thank you Marcos and Christina!

Cozy and well equipped house in great location
Had a very nice stay here over New Year’s Eve with my family. The house is in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from Starbucks and Vons. Kitchen is very well equipped for cooking everyday, and we much enjoyed the hot tub with privacy and cactus garden view. It’s a 10 minute drive to the trailhead at black canyon campground, where I did my morning runs. Owner immediately sent the hot tub guy when we communicated that it needed water and treatment. All in all an excellent property. Thanks for giving us a good time!

Amazing home with beautiful views
We had the best time at this property. Beautifully decorated home with comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen. The backyard views are incredible, especially at sunset from the Hot tub. Our kids loved it! Close to Joshua Tree Park. Would stay again if ever back in this area. Highly recommend.

Half Marathon Runners
Three sisters from much cooler climates traveled to Joshua Tree, and stayed at this lovely oasis for a long weekend. We relaxed, ran a half marathon, and relaxed some more.
Perfect proximity to everything - Groceries, hole-in-the-wall gems, major chain shops, the National Park - and only a 35 min drive to the Palm Springs Airport.
The hot tub was perfect for our small group, and the patio had a seriously dreamy view.
New construction so very cleanly and well done. Beds & bathrooms were nicely finished, and the southwest/ Scandinavian aesthetic was so refreshing and comfortable.
If we find ourselves back in the area again we will definitely be rebooking!

Best Sunset View in Joshua Tree
This house was amazing! We were in town for a wedding and had family fly in from Florida. They had never been to Joshua Tree and totally loved the desert vibe. This house was great for entertaining inside and outside. We enjoyed our breakfast outside in the backyard and also enjoyed a nice relaxing evening by the fire pit outside. The vinyl record selection was great too. It was nice to go through the records and select songs to play. Beds were super comfy and all in all, it was a great place for us to stay in. I recommend this house because it’s also centrally located and short drive to shopping center and restaurants in town. Marcos and Christina are great hosts and communication between us was very easy and responded quickly. Thank you Marcos and Christina for opening up your home to us.

The house was amazing and we loved the vibe! The backyard and the view was beautiful. We saw rabbits, quails and chipmunks. It was so peaceful. If we went back to Joshua Tree National Park we would definitely stay here.

Great house
This was a gorgeous property with a well-stocked kitchen and a beautiful view. We had a lovely time. Only hiccup was a big noisy truck idling outside the house half an hour before check out. Assume this was cleaning staff who called the owner to erroneously report we left the property late. To the contrary, my guest were out by 10:30, I was out by 10:58am and we left the place tidy per exact instructions . This last move left a bad taste in my mouth, A shame.,

Great family vacation
We loved staying here for our trip to Joshua Tree. We stayed with our 5 small children. They loved the house and the hot tub- they were extra excited to find some toys in a closet. (The only downside to kids in the desert, which is kind of a “duh” is that cacti are not kid friendly. You must always wear shoes, and they got stuck several times-not enough to ruin their trip, but enough that they got careful).
The house is very well appointed; we loved the relaxed desert theme. It was stylish, but not overdone. I especially liked that decorations and nickknacks were on walls or high shelves, both because they weren’t in danger of the children, but also that it left lots of empty space on surfaces for us to then use. I have stayed in places before that had so much kitchz that it made things unusable and you couldnt unpack. We also loved their bookshelf. We used several of the guidebooks, and there was even a children’s book about the dessert. I appreciated the lack of political books/decorations. It was fun to just find books about rock and roll or optical illusions, really allowed us to feel like we were taking a break from the world.
We drove into Joshua Tree park every day of our stay. A few times we went in twice. It’s about 20 min to get to any activity in the park, but it’s a nice drive. It’s also very close to conveniences/town; grocery store, pharmacy, church, etc.
Recommend heartedly!

Happy Desert Visitors
The house was clean, very comfortable, and has a wonderful view and backyard. While it’s not obvious from the front, the back view is spectacular of both the desert and mountains.

Amazing property, stunning backyard with views
This is an amazing property - beautifully decorated, with the most thoughtful and generous amenities. Even with being very conveniently located, the huge backyard made it feel like we were all alone. I would be happy to always wash the dishes with a kitchen window view like this one! Our young kids absolutely loved every minute and before we’d even left asked if when our next visit to JT would be. We will be back.

A beautiful, well-equipped rental.
My wife and I *loved* this rental. It’s located within ten minutes of Black Rock Canyon hikes at JTNP, and only 35 min from Cap Rick, Ryan Mt, etc in the main part of the park. It’s right up the street from conveniences like Vons, Starbucks, etc. and the kitchen, hot tub, etc are all perfect. And then there is the view out the patio — which is whatever is one step better than perfect. I’d rent it again in a second and my only hesitation in leaving such a glowing review is that now you’ll all want to rent it when I do again.
