Relaxing Retreat

Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, everything you needed was there. Bonus of a games room and spa. Lovely decor and layout.

Water pressure in showers was really low.

Oustanding holiday home with all your creature comforts.

The property was outstanding for young and old and was the perfect holiday spot for my family. Having the botanical gardens at your back door was a bonus and served as a bit of privacy when you're having a spa. Kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and we mostly hung out in the kitchen playing board games. Well equipped in that area with games etc for the younger ones. Super comfy beds, you could hideaway in those for sure on a rainy day. This house had everything we needed. Can't wait to stay again. Thank you.

The venue is placed near botanical garden so we could go for a walk each day. The venue was very kid-friendly and had place for kids to play

There must have been an ants hideout in house somewhere. We were welcomed by group of ants in the lounge, which also crawled around the sofa bed. Afterwards we had to wipe ants away several times in the kitchen as well. Otherwise all were alright

This place had everything you could possibly need, great assortment of things to do on site for rainy days with children. Lots of space, very comfortable

You won’t be disappointed staying at this property. Slept 6 quite comfortably.

Everything needed was supplied (only thing missing was tissues). Couldn’t get the drier working but that might have been user error. Great quiet location.

Great quiet place away from the centre of town.

The house backs onto the botanical gardens. We were visited by quails and other birds. It is very quiet and well equipped with big oven, bbq and coffee machine...

It was awesome!!

This property was amazing!! Beautifully presented and nice and big to accommodate our family of 7. Everything we needed was there. Spa pool, games, pool table, table tennis, darts, trampoline and swing set. Our daughter loved being in charge of feeding the fish in the pond in the backyard. Beautiful outside deck well set up with Spa pool, BBQ, tables and chairs. Awesome kitchen. The whole place was modern and clean. Right next to the botanical gardens which meant nice birdsong in the backyard. It was all better than we imagined it would be.

spa was slightly too cold so turned it up so I was warmer for the second night. couldn’t find a light switch for the garage so it was on the whole time but it was on before we even arrived.

Perfect family getaway

House was beautiful. Lots of room, warm homely an catered for our big group. Space an layout was perfect inside an out. Kitchen has a all the bits an bobs if cook, so handy. Is roomy, beds are such a good sleep, decent sized room love the decor. Handy upstairs ensuite with room. the upstairs lounge is a awesome hangout spot to wind down in. Shed with pool table an table tennis were a hit, family fitting, spa of course was amazing, an the outside entertainment area was huge. Area was good quiet an not too far from the town, botanical garden is stunning right next door.We surely enjoyed our stay an the price was well worth it. Thanks team lakeside, very helpful if needed anything. We hopefully be back!

No fan in bathroom downstairs to de mist or keep aired, after showers, for 7 people it became a little damp. but opened window was fine.

Best home stay we have used. Far better than a motel.

Spacious and really clean. Spa was excellent and private. Kitchen well equipped. Amazing number of recreational toys such as fooze ball, pool, table tennis, trampoline. Right next to the Botanical gardens which have amazing walks too.

On a cold night the pellet fuel heater struggled to keep the area warm.

Affordable, comfortable and clean

This house has the creature comforts you would find in your own home. We arrived to the property and walked into the smell of cleanliness. The lay out of the house has different levels so it’s much more easier to retreat if you need quiet time.

Fantastic everything!

Was very clean and tidy! Lovely location, great for the children. Driveway was a great size for parking car with trailer. The goodies and the note on chalk board there for our arrival was a very nice touch. :)
