About this house rental
Two story home with wood floors; second floor balconies; patio doors in all rooms; great room with 24 ft cathedral ceiling; large deck. Master loft with queen bed, 2 full sized bedrooms on main floor. Bunk room and single twin room upstairs. Single bathroom with separate shower and claw foot tub. Convenient to beaches, ponds, bike trails and town. Five minute drive to ocean. comfortable ambience, well stocked kitchen with dishwasher, lots of books and games. Enjoy grilling and cocktail hour on the large deck. Solar panels and gleaming wood floor. Handcrafted comfort.

We found Claudia’s house to be beautiful, wonderfully comfortable, and in a perfect location. We took full advantage of the treasures in the Wellfleet area- so close to the bay and lovely trails for walking by the salt marshes- and it was always great to come back to at the end of the day to cook in the well-stocked kitchen. Claudia was always immediately responsive to any questions we had. This place is a true gem!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We found the home very clean, comfortable, plenty of open space & with 5 bedrooms — lots of room to spread out. Kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials & then some! Easy access to multiple beaches & a variety of outdoor activities. Although we enjoyed Marconi Beach, we found Indian Rock Beach to be the favorite for swimming. We hope to return 😊

We had a wonderful stay at the house with our family of 2 adults and 3 children (and our dog). The pictures really don’t do it justice – it is an elegant house with charm and style. We loved the open space, the well-stocked kitchen (much better pots and pans than your average rental house!) and the comfortable hang-out spaces. It’s close to Rt. 6 and Wellfleet but has a secluded feel. As a cyclist, I liked the basement with easy access to the road. Our son could even practice the piano! The homeowner was friendly in all communication. Our only small negative was that the mosquitos were awful on the deck; but I imagine that was true across the town! We hope to return.

Quality house with high ceilings and open spaces, great windows and many sliding doors to open house for outside air and lots of great deck space. Easy outdoor access to basement made for simple access to bikes and beach chairs . We would love to come back for another visit. Thanks Claudia!

This was really the perfect property for our family of 4 (2 parents and "kids" 20 and 18!). It is like the pictures but they dont capture the warmth and coziness of the place. It really is a cabin on the cap. It was clean as a whistle, had great collection of books, comfy furniture and stocked kitchen. We also loved that it is so close to Indian Neck Beach (1.5 miles). Great low-key beach. If you are looking for a family and friend cabin near beautiful beaches, this is it. THANK YOU for sharing it with us.

The Cope house was absolutely beautiful! Claudia clearly spent a lot of time fitting the house out with everything a vacationer could possibly need. I found the property exceptionally clean and well maintained and plan on returning!

The home was exactly as described! Plenty of space, extremely well equipped kitchen, very clean! Loved spending time sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine at night! Location was great for beach and dining out! Definitely a place to return to!

I can’t say enough good things about this house! The pictures don’t do it justice. It is open and spacious and just what we imagined for our cape vacation. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out but still be together—perfect for family lounging, backyard playing, eating, puzzle making. Well equipped but also not overrun with other people’s leftovers (eg, 4 open bottles of ketchup in fridge, etc). Book it while you can, we hope to stay here again!

Open layout was great for big dinners, conversations, sharing music and group activities. Location is great to P-town or down to Orleans. Kitchen well suited for large group dinners, everyone had such a great time!

Loved the uniqueness of this house. Only complaint. This was listed as 2 bathrooms. The 2nd bathroom was an outside shower.

The house was amazing! Very comfortable and clean…loved the great room and the skylights.The kitchen was amply stocked and we made dinner most nights because we didn’t want to leave the house.The wife loved the big bathroom.There was a nature trail just down the road that led to a beautiful marsh. Our little dogs loved the walk. Wellfleet is great because it’s in the middle of the Cape and it’s convenient to get to anywhere from Provincetown to Orleans. The house is very quiet with a nice yard that the dogs loved.The deck was an excellent place to sit and read one of the many books in the house library.Stayed in a lot of places on the Cape but this gem was by far the best! Hope to stay there again.

The Cope House was beautiful. We were traveling as a group of six friends and found the house perfect for our needs. The great room, porch, and kitchen were lovely; everything was clean; the location is fantastic. Claudia was super communicative and responsive, and we had a lovely stay. Thank you!

From the moment we walked into this beautiful space, we all felt at home. The well-stocked kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for our family; the light-filled main room was ideal for gathering to sit by the fire, do puzzles, and stare at the sky through the skylights. I slept peacefully every night, and awoke to the delightful view of turkeys wandering about on the lawn. I was so relaxed in this space that we almost didn't want to leave to go to our favorite beaches and nature walks, which are all within about 10 minutes. Claudia is a gracious and accessible host, and we lacked for nothing! Overall, an ideal getaway, which we can't wait to return to in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We came with our three children and we had plenty of space and a terrific kitchen to cook meals. The large deck is really nice to gather and eat outside. The nearby trails were perfect for dog walking. Claudia is wonderful- she found our missing earbuds and is making sure that we get them back. I almost don’t want to say how great this rental is so we can easily rent it again!

I stayed with my husband and my 2 adult children. The house is very spacious. Everyone was able to have their own bedroom with a balcony. Everything was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. We would recommend the house and next time we come back to the cape would love to rent the house again.

Perfect Peaceful Home!!
The Cope House was the absolute perfect place to stay for a restful break. We spent most of our time in the house because of everything it had to offer! The kitchen is very stocked (we cooked a ton), the beds are comfortable, and everything is clean. We loved the ambience and the natural lighting, as well as the exceptional location. Additionally, Claudia was wonderful and communicated quickly. This house is perfect for any gathering and you will not regret staying here!

The house is unique and curiously very secluded thought its very close to Rte 6. Surrounded by trees and lovely flowers with a wrap around deck and a multitude of windows this offers the proximity to beaches both bay and ocean, stores and downtown but the luxury of privacy .
I was mainly alone but my son came to visit and my sister-in law's also came and stayed for two nights. I biked to all the beaches close by, LeCount's Hollow, Marconi, Baker's. Claudia has provided everything you could need from toilet paper to laundry detergent. There are spices galore (except for garlic) and she provides a spring water dispenser.
It was a relaxing and pleasurable stay.

We’ve stayed here once before and booked again because it’s such a great house. We love the open floor plan and general charm of Cynthia’s home. Perks for us were definitely the deck, outdoor shower and bathtub. The house is close to town and beaches which was convenient. Hope to stay again in the future!
