About this cabin rental

During the Summer(from about mid-June to Labor Day) we rent from Friday to Friday. Some "Things To Do" are only available on the weekend(Drive-In Movie, Flea Market, etc.) so this gives you a full weekend. Plus, a full weekend home before starting work on Monday.

Our Cabin is charming, quaint, and cozy with a shady backyard. It’s perfect for romantic getaways or family vacations. The house is a short 50 feet from the dock where you can watch the sunrise while enjoying your morning coffee. A sandy beach area makes for easy access in and out of the water whether you’re taking out kayaks, boats, or inner tube, or wading in our swimmable lake. There is even a sauna right off the deck with a great view of the lake. We even provide a variety of essential oils to add to the sauna experience! After enjoying the lake, you can relax on the hammock or roast marshmallows at the fire pit.

The inside of the house has a very warm and inviting feel that just melts away your stress.

Whether you want to sit by the fire place and read a good book, play board games with family and friends, watch Netflix, or movies from our classic DVD collection, we try to provide all the essentials that will make your vacation as enjoyable as possible.

Community amenities... Community Pool & beach(daily passes available for purchase on a limited basis), and play ground, tennis and basketball courts(even ice skating rink in the winter) which is across the lake by boat or less than a 2 mile drive.

We are a 10 minute drive to Shop Rite, WalMart, restaurants, golf, and more. And 20 minutes(or less) to Camelback (ski/waterpark), Kalahari water parks, The Crossing outlet mall. Part of our “Check-in” instructions is list of over 75 things to do in the area.

Well behaved dogs are welcome with prior permission.. We do have a $100.pet fee per dog. Two dog maximum.

We provide everything you need for an enjoyable stress free vacation except for linens and towels. Pillows, blankets, and comforters are provided. Please inquire for linen rental if interested otherwise please bring your own.

Home professionally cleaned and sanitized by Jean's Cleaning Service.

For the security of our guests and the property, we have installed two exterior cameras at the entryways.

We always stay on a lake for a week in the summer. We actively go out on boats, ATV’s, horseback riding, ziplining and whatever we can find to do!

My brother and I took our father away for his birthday and we had a great time. Nick and Jill were great and very responsive with any questions that we had. The house was great and we spent a lot of time enjoying the lake and exploring the surrounding area. Overall a very fun and relaxing week!

The check in process was BRUTAL, the property was nice, but not much privacy with neighbors 10’ away on both sides. My kids first comment upon entering was that the place smells like cigarettes. We left the next morning and drove home instead of completing the weekend.

Stayed here with family, place was warm and cozy. firewood was fully stocked and came in handily. Enough space for all of us. Description of home was very accurate, and homeowners were more than helpful to all our needs and responded very quickly to all our questions. I def will be staying here again!!

House was a good size for two adults, a teenager and a small dog. Dog-friendly rentals can be hit or miss but this one was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed looking out on the frozen lake sitting by the fire. Location of house is a bit of a drive from the gate to the community, but it was fine as we weren't going in and out very much and it was worth it for the quiet street and lakefront property.

Started out with a bump! Got there and there was no running water. Had to call owner and he had to call water company. So I had to wait for them to arrive and figure out the problem and of course could not use the bathroom. Took a bit but problem resolved. I have used VRBO 3 times now and each time there was a problem at the property. Last time got a cabin with a hot tub that didn't work. Owner said would get fixed but of course was not. Little things can really put a damper on a trip. Hopefully next time ALL will be good.

This particular lake was quite unique because it was extremely shallow. It was perfect for young children who are just learning to swim. No motor boats are allowed or sailboats. The lake accommodates rowboats (with small electric motors), kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, paddle boats. Without the noise of motorboats, the lake is so peaceful and serene.

Nice and homey, clean and functional. Great for a family fishing trip getaway at the Poconos. The "Welcome Center" process was a little tedious and unexpected (Friday around 5 PM), but you only have to do it once. We found almost everything we needed in the home. You have to bring your own sheets and towels.

The owners were very responsive to a few questions we had prior to traveling to the vacation house and we really appreciated their responses. We "just" happened to have a week when the moon was full which provided an extra special display of God's creation at night. Fishing, swimming, relaxing, games at night - just good family time.

My wife and two kids really had an amazing time .the house is perfect for a small family. The amenities the home supplies (Tom boat ,trolling motor ,kayak,fire pit by lake. Grill suana.) make it easy to enjoy yourself and kick back and relax . I gave this house 4 stars. Not because of the house. But because of the area and the homes around the house.

This house and location was perfect for our family and dog. Very pet friendly, owners always responded quickly, our kids couldn’t stay off the peddle boat despite the chilly temps. Between the views of the lake and the wildlife, it was just what we needed for a quick getaway. Highly recommend this property!

A quiet calm house on the lake. Our second stay here and it was as good as the first. Very well appointed kitchen. Nice yard though we did not use it much due to very cold weather and snow. Driveway and decking cleared of snow. A lot of firewood. Nice neighborhood with friendly folks.

The check-in process at the gate house was our only real issue, I am sure COVID staffing issues as well as it being Christmas Eve were the causes for that so can't fault the hosts. House was perfect for a few nights to get away. Our young boys were pleasantly surprised by the Xbox .

This is the second time I’ve rented this property from Nick & Jill and it’s for sure become one of our favorite little get aways! Beautiful & peaceful location with amazing views right on the lake. Very cozy and inviting. We loved everything, fishing, late night bon fires, morning coffee by the lake and the sauna of course! Will definitely be back!

Stayed with wife, 2 kids and 2 dogs for 1 week, loved the house (right on the lake). I think the owner does a great job maintaining the property (kayaks,pedal boat and so much more fun things). I would definitely rent this house again and would recommend anyone thinking about it to do it.

The house is quaint, cozy and clean! We had a fire every night; enjoying drinks and looking at the snow covered lake. It was a winter wonderland! There was so much snow and the day we were leaving there was an ice storm but it looked beautiful. It was a much need girls weekend for all 3 of us. Nick and Jill thank you for sharing your home with us. We will definitely visit again!

Absolutely beautiful views of the lake throughout the house. The house was very clean and cozy. Fully equipped with all cooking pots, pans, spices, dishes. Loved looking thur the guest book thur out the years. Close to shoprite and supper Walmart n all other shopping. Close to Camelback mountain. I loved staying here!

Had a great stay! We loved the Sauna with a window to the lake and we loved the fire place. They gave us a lot of wood and it was great. The house is as advertised and functionalWe did not like the HOA - the welcome center was anything but welcome, that was the impression of all of us. While the house is functional it is very dated and needs upgrades all over. most things worked, but nothing was impressive. This is 3 stars but we went 4 for the sauna

My boys and I only spent 24 hours at the house but paid for 4 nights. The neighbor was so obnoxious that she yelled at my boys for stepping on her property when my puppy ran out of the house onto her yard. I apologized but she continued to berate my children and I. Then stared out of her window at my kids playing the rest of the day. It was so uncomfortable we left after 1 day. I emailed the owners regarding the situation while we were leaving explaining what happened. They didn’t get back to me until the evening apologizing for her behavior. I paid for 4 nights and stayed for 1. We couldn’t even enjoy the property.

Absolutely 5/5 stars! We have stayed here multiple times now and we absolutely love it. The owners are extremely helpful and communication is very easy. They truly make us feel like we are at home. The house is very clean and has everything you need for your stay. The location and scenery is also stunning. We would highly recommend this house to anyone who is interested very easy, smooth, and relaxing getaway.

Had bad weather first two days yet we had many options even with Covid 19 to enjoy those times. We later when weather cleared kayaked our private lake....fished and we visited by many deer two times a day both women feed them by hand Quality time with family at a wonderful pet friendly place...made a few lifetime memories and the owners are quality people who i hope to rent from for many years to come.

Beautiful view of the lake with sauna, kayaks, paddle boat, bike and Netflix at night. Nick, the owner, was very accommodating and even mailed a new remote when we told him the remote wasn’t working in the master bedroom. Pleasant stay had by all including our mutts.

Owners have thought of everything. Chargers, night lights, outdoor lighting and an axe for chopping wood. Kayaks, row/motor boat and paddle boat so much fun. A peaceful, calming place with lots of wildlife to enjoy watching.
