Grasstree Spa Studio at River Trails is ideally located mid-way between the town of Margaret River and Prevelly Beach, and within walking / cycling distance of either along a beautiful pathway. River Trails is on eight acres of native forest with abundant flora and fauna, where often you may observe kangaroos in their natural environment. Due to our forest location with few boundaries please note the property is NOT PET FRIENDLY.

Grasstree Spa Studio is a self-contained queen-size spa studio with cathedral ceiling. Quality furnishings, en-suite with double spa bath, walk-in robe, television / DVD, fridge, microwave, tea / coffee (pod machine) making facilties, with reverse cycle air-conditioning. A Mediterranean style kitchen facility is located under the semi-enclosed private verandah (heated), with alfresco breakfast bar for dining.

As our name implies, trails and tracks abound in this area. A scenic walk / cycle way is on your doorstep which will take you past renowned Cape Mentelle Winery into town, or past the golf course to Prevelly beach and world famous surf breaks.

Stayed for a birthday weekend. The grass tree studio is well located and functional, with a pretty walk to the Margaret River Falls. The outside kitchen (with a heater) has a great camping vibe, which we really enjoyed. The outside lighting was practical, but we thought a bit of mood/feature lighting would have made it delightful. Thank you.

The property is in natural bush land and although compact has everything you need. The spa bath is a lovely touch. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Stunning area, very beautiful place. Highly recommended 🌻. Only thing that was a minor inconvenience was the mattress, however both myself and partner have bad back and hip

This is a lovely hideaway, that is kept meticulously clean by the hosts who also provide many thoughtful suggestions and staples for cooking. The kitchen is outside, which was not an issue for us, but could be for some in the winter months. In the warm weather, the outside areas would be where you are likely to spend most of the day. Thanks for being great hosts

Cosy private bushy setting with plenty of birdlife around. Delightful for a lazy afternoon nap on the comfy bed with cloud-like dooner with the glass doors open to allow the breeze and sunshine in, super relaxing little cottage. Nice outside timber bench for enjoying coffee and birdwatching. Only things to fault was shower head not so pleasant and no blinds on top triangle windows so unable to sleep in once sun starts to rise as light shines right down on face while trying to sleep. Towels smelled a little sour and mirror very small in bathroom. Lovely to have a coffee machine, wine, Chocs and wifi provided. Thank you for a cosy relaxing stay.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough, clean tidy and ultra quiet! The only let down was we didn’t get to meet the kelpie puppy that was mentioned in the notes that roams the property ☹️

The Grasstree cottage is beautifully located, well appointed with comfortable bed, functional bathroom and excellent out door kitchen. Beautiful host Lisa was approachable and helpful.

A beautiful rural property that is perfect for a couple, was just outside of Margaret River town centre and close to the coast as well. The hosts were lovely deal with and gave us the privacy we wanted. Wished we stayed longer and could not fault our stay

The host was a very friendly and helpfull lady but this accommodation would be more suitable for back packers as no room for travellers with luggage.,We found the bed too soft. only a small mirrow in bathroom and no freezer only a small ice box. The bathroom and shower were good and the location was excellent.

Comfortable bed and nice position in bush setting, but it was disappointing about the cleanliness in the shower and the overall presentation of outdoor verandah area for guests. The bottle of wine and chocolate frogs were a welcome touch - Thankyou.

Awesome place in nature. Absolute perfect location. Located central from what had plans for. Very relaxing, cosy and the spa bath was well needed.

Property overall is good. Apex windows above bed were a bit bright in the morning for our liking as we like to sleep in. Ok if you are a early riser. Driveway needs branches trimming. Now have scratches on our vehicle from driving in and out. Tv sound system needs replacement.

Nice little place with everything you need, really close to Prevelly and Margaret River. Great recommendations were provided (places to eat etc) plus a complimentary bottle of local wine. We really enjoyed our stay. Cheers

Fantastic location perfect distance for a leisurely walk to Prevelly or the town centre, super clean and tidy accommodation with great amenities. A nice bottle of wine and some chocolates for us on arrival was very thoughtful and made us smile. Felt totally relaxed by the time we left. Will definitely be back but for longer next time.

This accommodation had everything we needed, very cute with a lovely modern bathroom. Nestled in the bush, located in the middle of the town and the beach, just a short drive to anything you could want. Easy check-in and check-out process, private and respectful. Thank you.

Our experience was okay but we did have to leave a day early as the bed provided was basically just springs so my partner and I didn't get any sleep our whole trip and they do have sky windows that don't have blinds or any type of shade so you're up as soon as the sun is. However the location is stunning and this would be an absolute hidden gem if those 2 things were fixed. Our check-in was easy and the owners were great

Close to Margaret River with quiet surroundings. Modern spacious bathroom. Little disappointed with bedding/pillows. They need a refresh. Need to keep an eye on the coffee machine water as it needed a good clean. Be wary of phone reception as there wasn’t any.
