The Sandpiper Condos are located on Tybee Island's
South Beach within walking distance to the pier, pavilion, several shops, bars, and restaurants.

Weeklong rentals are a must in June and July, 7 days, Saturday to Saturday. We are unable to make any exceptions during these months.

The elevator will take you up to the second floor for
your beautiful, private, spacious, 1400 square feet of vacation pleasure with a side view of the ocean from the balcony. We have Impact/High Performance windows and sliding glass door that are up to code for coastal and island properties.

Description of Condo: Updated with ceramic tile flooring so there is no carpet. This condo features a fully furnished kitchen with Corian countertops. The full sized refrigerator/freezer /ice-maker combination, smooth top stove, microwave, and dishwasher will make 'cooking in' very convenient. There is a large pantry and extra shelves for storing your groceries.
There is seating for 4 at the bistro table, 4 at the counter, and 4 on the balcony.

Accommodations for Guests: free highspeed WIFI, cable TV, 4 TVs (a smart TV in each bedroom). The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa and 2 recliners (both new 2022), 40 inch smart flat screen TV, There is a collection of books, jigsaw puzzles, and DVDs as well as some older games: Chess, Checkers, Backgammon, cards, UNO, Skipbo, Yatzee, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, Gestures, Candyland, Monopoly. We have a collection of mostly childrens' DVDs, also.

Several restaurants and bars within walking distance. Actually, there is a restaurant on each side of the condo.

Cabs will take you anywhere on the island for about $4 per person (plus tip).
Grocery stores: IGA (has grocery delivery service-check their website) and numerous convenience stores on Tybee Island. Publix, Kroger, Walmart are close by on Wilmington or Whitemarsh Islands.

We are repeat guests bc this place place is amazing. Down next to the pier. Next to the storefronts. Walking distance to some great food and the ocean is RIGHT THERE. NO need to drag the cooler to the beach bc its so close. And the condo is freaking amazing.

We stayed in this condo for a week. In some of our previous trips, we've stayed in places where it was obvious they furnished it with whatever hodgepodge leftovers they had, regardless of comfort. Not this place!!! It's clearly set up for your comfort and ease of stay. My husband is disabled, and it was surprisingly accessible for a property that didn't explicitly advertise itself as accessible. Check-in was super easy, and check out even easier. Highly recommend, and we plan on renting again!

We had a FABULOUS time at this condo. The location was absolutely perfect for our family. Our oldest just wanted to fish off the pier and was able to come and go as he pleased. We brought our two toddlers and infant daughters for their first time to the beach. We were able to walk everywhere, the pier and any restaurant in just a few minutes. It was super convenient with so many little legs to keep track of. There is a full kitchen so if you wanted to cook you are able. The en-suite washer and dryer was also extremely handy. We will definitely be coming back!

It was my family's first trip to Tybee Island/Savannah and this condo was in the perfect location. We rented a car so we could go back and forth to Savannah so having a parking space was important, but everything is walkable so having a car isn't necessary. The condo was steps away from the beach and plenty of local shops and restaurants. It's such a fun area. A quick mart was just down the road if you need groceries. The condo is well-stocked and very spacious. We loved the location and would rent again if we came back. It was such a fun trip!

This place was great for our family for the week. We came in October and it was hardly anyone there which I guess is a good thing because we have two loud little boys! We enjoyed the condo and how close we were to restaurants and stores. Host was very responsive.

Enjoyed our stay. Don't recommend this place if you have two large vehicles staying here. They won't both fit. One will have to be paid for parking outside. Would recommend bringing some washcloths and bath towels if you have more than 4 people staying. We didn't have enough. If you have a lot of stuff bring a wagon to help get it upstairs and back down. There's no wagons or carts for the public to use. The outside shower was really nice to have. Wish it was more noticeable so we had seen it the first two days. The mattress in the queen bedroom is a memory foam mattress that is very worn out and not comfortable at all. You can't even sit on the edge of the bed without it sinking all of the way to the box spring. The twin room mattresses looked brand new and were nice. Great location to the beach and to restaurants. Good communication with the owner when needed.

We wanted close beach access and have learned that it is nice to be able to walk to stores and restaurants and the the fisherman's pier on the back side for sunsets. Kris' condo checked all those boxes. Kris was the best communicator of any vacation rental we have ever done, and that's something close to 20. Great job.

We loved our stay at Kris and Barbara’s condo. We fell it love with Tybee last year, and have been itching to go back. This property was spectacular and the owners are superb! The listing was exactly as described, extremely close to the beach, and communication was awesome! We will definitely consider staying again when we come back to Tybee! P.S. My husband says the retro Uno game was fantastic!

This condo is a perfect place to stay on Tybee Island. We have enjoyed ourselves for the second year in a row staying in Kris's condo. The location is literally steps from the sand, so very convenient. Walk out the front door of the building, cross the street and up a short ramp...you are there. We spent many hours walking the wonderful beach, looking for sharks teeth and shells and getting our cardio steps in nearly every day. We loved eating the seafood and fish available on Tybee. There are lots of restaurants - some within walking distance - or a short drive away, Backwater fishing was my husband's favorite pastime and he actually caught enough for a meal one day. Even if he didn't catch any fish he enjoyed meeting and talking to other fishermen and families down at the docks. Walking on the pier is always fun. We felt very safe on Tybee and that means a lot. Check out the Post Theatre, we saw two fantastic concerts there. Kris is wonderful, also very accommodating and helpful. We will certainly rent from her and her sister again.

This property is not brand new but is well maintained. ( 3 bedrooms 2 full baths, well stocked kitchen) and is very near the beach. From the balcony on the side you can see the ocean. Step off the elevator and in 100 steps you can be at the beach.

The Sandpiper is oceanfront and near the pier and little shops. Park your car and walk! But not that far from downtown Savannah and all its charms, restaurants and shops. We spent Thanksgiving there and the kitchen had everything we needed and more to cook a full turkey dinner and all the fixings! New furniture in one of the bedrooms and living room and porch since our last stay. Perfect spot for Tybee Christmas tree lighting and first annual Tybee Christmas market. Clean and fully equipped. The full sized washer/dryer is a big help when you have 3 kids in the condo. The owner found several items we left behind (7 people this time!), notified us and shipped the Tirana cheerfully. Great visit. !! We will be back!
