About this apartment rental
At just one block from Prospect Park and the subway, this apartment offers the ideal location for experiencing real Brooklyn life and exploring all of New York City. Located on a pretty tree-lined block with interesting architecture, this is a spacious and comfortable 1 bedroom apartment. The Botanic Gardens and Brooklyn Museum are just a short walk away. Get the true Brooklyn vibe in this hip and historic neighborhood characteristic of the diversity that Brooklyn has to offer. A vibrant area (known as Prospect Lefferts Gardens) with restaurants, cafes, shopping and an array of markets and stores, you will find everything you need within a short walk of the apartment. Street parking is available, and a parking garage is nearby. Enjoy the great summer concerts on offer at Prospect Park, or take a pleasant walk through the park to reach Park Slope, Grand Army Plaza and the beautiful Brooklyn Library, or to discover nearby landmark areas such as Ditmas Park and Prospect Heights. Prospect Park is particularly well-suited for families with children - with playgrounds, the Brooklyn Zoo, the Carousel and the new 'Lakeside' skating area and children's water park. The subway provides quick and easy access to Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn (Parkside or Prospect Park stops of the B/Q trains, Winthrop stop of the 2/5 trains). The Barclay's Center concert venue and stadium is also just a couple of subway stops from the apartment.
The apartment is cheerfully decorated and is a peaceful retreat from the bustle of big city life. It is newly furnished, freshly painted and is equipped with everything you could need to feel at home. It has beautiful hard-wood floors throughout and provides all the amenities (flat-screen HDTV, cable, wifi, air conditioning). The apartment comfortably accommodates 4 people, with a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a full-size pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Whip up a home-cooked meal in the fully-stocked and roomy kitchen (oven, range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, pots, pans, plates, etc). Note that the apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a walk-up building (no elevator). Bedding, linens and towels are provided.

Everything was great with my stay. The apartment was extraordinarily clean and uncluttered when we got there. The owner's instructions were excellent. There was enough space for me and my partner. Neighborhood was nice.

A pleasant oasis in a very old building, this apartment is extremely clean, well looked after and nicely decorated. The place is very quiet and we were very comfortable here after busy days exploring Prospect Part, Brooklyn Gardens and Museum and Park Slope. The Q train is 2 minutes walk and runs directly into Manhattan.

We were all very happy about the accommodation in Brooklyn, beautiful located in a big city, and beside the subway and short way to Manhattan. The Prospect park beside was a winner, but we did not have time to visit the Botanic garden (next time?). All the facilities in the apartment were great, nothing to complain about. And the communication with the owner was fast and correct. I would recommend to everyone.

Perfect apartment for our family of 3, as we enjoyed being in a genuine neighborhood yet having such quick access to all the sights with the metro so close at hand. The apartment was spotlessly clean and we found it quite comfortable, the bedroom was particularly nice and quiet and the kitchen had everything we needed though mostly we ate out. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets to choose from in the surrounding blocks, and spending time in Prospect Park with its amazing food market was a big highlight of our trip.

Very clean, nicely appointed, conveniently located near grocery, subway and Prospect Park. Heating control is a bit of a challenge, however with windows open in April, we found a comfortable temperature.

Apartment very dated and dark but a good location. Apartment was booked for 4 people but 2 had to drop out late on, disappointed that Tina would not waver the additional person cost that had been added for 4 people staying. The apartment has no way of adjusting the heating so evening in the very cold outside weather it was very warm. Our sleep was very disturbed by music being played late into the night in other apartments and the bed was very creaky every slight movement in the bed would cause you to wake up. We had a lovely time in Brooklyn New York but very much doubt we would stay in these apartments again.

Took in the 100 street vendors that populate the Sunday Smorgousburg in the park. Great access to the Q and neighborhood amenities.
Liliana met us at the apartment even though our flight was 4 hours late. Entrance isn’t anything to write home about but the apartment itself was nice and more than served our purposes especially given the reasonable price.

We were very pleased with the location, cleanliness, size, and amenities. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and kitchen was well equipped. The coffee pot could use an upgrade but it definitely served its purpose for us each morning. We loved being very close to our son’s apartment and to the train station.
In the neighborhood, we especially enjoyed Nagel’s Bagels, Sun brunch at Blessings Cafe, and a lovely Sunday afternoon walk in Prospect Park.

Perfect location in an ethnic neighborhood that was safe and open all day and night. Close to the subway and Prospect Park, restaurants. Fit our needs perfectly.

We wanted a place close to our son’s apartment for our visit. This place was perfect. Large bedroom, well-stocked kitchen and two blocks from Prospect Park or the subway station. Great host - Thanks, Tina!
