Liked being quiet Southwest Harbor. Easy drive to Acadia Mt trailhead and Bass Harbor lighthouse, 20 min to main entrance of Acadia National park. Master bedroom Huge, the other 2 rooms very small. Upstairs half bath good for people 5’ or shorter due to slanted roof. Whole house could use updating, but everything was clean and functional. Only 1 shower in the house. We didn’t use grill, AC or wood stove. House smelled a little musty without the windows open. Good Wi-Fi signal! 2 min walk to marina for our lobster boat tour!!

The rental was the right price for its location, amenities, & quirkiness. Our group of four adults all agreed that we would book this place again and recommend it to others. However, we would warn them on some of its quirks. It has only one shower on the first floor bathroom, and that bathroom window doesn't have a curtain/shade (which faced the garage/outbuilding).

Nice house. Has everything you need. Beds and carpets need updating

Location was good, but the unit was not very clean. Many items could do with an update. Eating and cooking utensils were a mix of a number of patterns, many chipped and cracked plates. Tons of pots and pans, most needed cleaning or replacing. No dish soap and a very well used sponge. Crumbs on the shelves and in the drawers. Overall needs a good cleaning and supplies update.

Older home with nice charm to it. Nice location and close to town. Only down side was just one shower in it. House was nice and clean.

So close to Acadia and several beautiful spots to visit. Lots to do in the area. We took a two hour boat tour in Bass Harbor, ate lobster rolls at Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound, drove up Cadillac Mountain, ate a delicious lunch in Manset at Peter Trouts Tavern and hiked numerous trails!

A rustic cottage view a harbor view within a 6 minute drive to 3 different Acadia trailheads. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of room inside. Sunrise view from the large bedroom. One minus side, surprising amount of traffic on the street even this late in the season, as well as noisy fridge & heating. Goes eith age of the building. Would go again.

Great getaway
It was a perfect home for my three children and husband. Great views and had everything we needed while being able to walk into southwest harbor. We will be back.

Southwest Harbor stay September 2019
Lovely and comfortable home on the quieter side of the island. Good restaurant almost right across the street. 10 minute walk to downtown Southwest Harbor with a few shops and restaurants. Enormous master bedroom. Grandson especially loved his just right bathroom upstairs.
