About this house rental
Diephuys 14B is located in a very residential area of Bruges, 50m from the rows, 200m from the Jan van Eyck square and 400m from the market of Bruges. Really central with all the virtues of the city within walking distance (museums, bistros, restaurants, cozy coffee bars, ...)!
The house is a typical Bruges house with stepped gable and with its 3 bedrooms suitable for 6 adults and 1 baby.
When you enter the house, you end up in the entrance hall of the house. Here there is ample space for cloakroom and you will also find access to the stairs to the floors. You will also find a cozy, airy seating area on the ground floor with TV facilities - ideal for relaxing after a day of discovery in Bruges. The atmosphere here is fresh and light with playful color accents combined with warm materials such as wood paneling and oak beamed ceiling. At the back of the ground floor there is the intimate kitchen with all comfort and a cozy seating area in blue tones with seating for 6.
Via the closed staircase you reach the first floor where you find at the front of the house a very airy bedroom in soft petrol blue colors. This room comfortably accommodates 2 people with a double super king size bed with superior mattress and real duvets and pillows. In short, the perfect setting for a blissful night! Furthermore, on this floor there is also a separate shower room, a fully equipped and airy bathroom with rain shower and double sink as well as a separate toilet.
If you go a floor higher you will go to the sleeping loft of the house which is divided into a front sleeping area with a double super king size bed and a rear room with 2 single beds. Here too, the space is bathed in a fresh color with some colorful accents and through the roof windows you have a beautiful view of the tower of the nearby Walburga Church. On this floor there is also room for a cot.
The house is not allowed to smoke and pets are not allowed.

Fantastic location on quiet street. Close to canals and main square. Very clean and thoughtful arrival gifts. Kitchen a little tight for 6 people. Highly recommend staying here and plan to come back!

Our family of four (two adults and two children, ages 6 and 10) had a wonderful stay over Easter weekend at Els’ home in Bruges. The location is central to all of the sights in Bruges, which was great. Her three-story home is tidy and comfortable, with a clean bathroom/showers and kitchen. We were welcomed with chocolates and biscuits for the children, as well as bottles of water and wine for the adults, which were such a lovely touch! As others have mentioned, the stairs are quite narrow and should be avoided for people with mobility issues. It was a bit chilly when we visited and the heat from the radiators wasn’t sufficient for our needs. Aside from this, the home was perfect for our visit to Bruges!

This flat was fantastic. Well maintained and clean. Elegant design inside. The host was very responsive and helpful. The location is great--only a few blocks from the center of town's shopping and restaurants. Very steep and narrow stairs inside, which weren't a problem for us, but just a "heads-up". Highly recommend!

Overall a nice property but the layout is a little tight, especially in the downstairs. Good for small families but would be difficult to fit a group of six comfortably I think.

Our family really enjoyed Els property. It was on a quiet street and within an easy walk to all of the sites. We are family of 4 with teens, so navigating the steep steps inside the flat was fine for us. Would be hard for families with mobility issues. Overall, a great place

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay in a beautiful home in Bruges. We were close to the centre in a peaceful residential area surrounded by the canals and historic sites of the city. Would love to go back!!

Family of 5 stayed two nights and this was a great location for wandering. No car needed. Beware the steps as they are painted and can be slippery otherwise it was a great location. Compact but ample room for all of us.

Bruges is such a fairy tale place to visit. Wonderful pace and the architecture, the stores, the streets, the food and the chocolate make Bruges a really family friendly city to visit anytime of the year. The apartment is perfectly located and we were welcomed with a sweet welcome gift from our host. The apartment is very comfortable. The bedding, sheets and pillows were so comfortable. It is great for any family (up to six), but everyone needs to be able to climb stairs. I would still highly recommend this apartment and the owner is wonderful to work with. We will stay there again when we come back to Bruges. We cannot wait!!!

We loved our stay in Bruges with Els. It was the perfect place for us and had more than enough room for four adults. The beds were more than comfortable and the kitchen was a great spot to chat and play games. If you’re traveling with someone who is disabled or has difficulty with stairs, then I’d recommend looking elsewhere—the bedrooms are on the upper levels and the staircases are narrow. We didn’t have much of an issue ourselves and would definitely book a stay there again.

Wir haben einen schönen Aufenhalt in dem sehr gut ausgestatteten Stadthaus verbracht, das äußerst gepflegt und sauber ist. Tolle Begrüßung mit Kuchen auf dem Tisch und Wein und Wasser im Kühlschrank! Besonders positiv war die schnelle Erreichbarkeit der Vermieterin bei sämlichen Fragen. Eine wirklich angenehme Zeit.

agréable, bien situé mais un peu juste pour 6 personnes
Notre hôte nous a accueillis chaleureusement dans cette jolie maison flamande idéalement située près du centre historique de Bruges. L'intérieur est impeccable, mais à réserver aux personnes minces et en forme car les escaliers des 2 étages sont très raides et tellement étroits que nous avons eu du mal à monter les valises. Attention il y a bien 2 douches mais une seule toilette ! C'est un peu juste pour 6 personnes. La cuisine est petite, pratique et bien équipée mais il flotte une odeur de moisi persistante. La grande chambre du haut est aussi très étroite et donne sur un escalier raide et dont la lumière s'allume toute seule, même dans la nuit. L'ensemble est tout de même très agréable pour un court séjour.

The house is equipped with everything you need for a short stay and the owners are very accommodating. We went with our six month old and they provided lots of equipment to make our stay more comfortable. It is a five minute walk from the center of the town on a lovely residential street, the location can’t be faulted. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and all of the little details have been thought about to make staying there as effortless as possible. We would definitely stay here again.
