We are uniquely located on the back oceanside of the airport in close proximity to Sandals Montego Bay.
Our community is well patroled by police. It is considered to be one of the safer neighborhoods in Jamaica due to the fact that it is a one-way in and one- way out community.
We also have a private monitored security service with armed response. However, I can assure you it is not needed.
Our job is to keep you safe and make sure you have a great, memorable Jamaican vacation.

Know that you WILL see evidence of this as you approach as well as the energy of the village. Please don't be taken aback. Though not surrounded by other mansions or a fancy development, it is safe, charming, and so very full of love in all details. Maria Villa is Montego Bay community tourism destination - equipped with a community soccer. For the avid fishermen, this is the perfect spot for sport fishing and other Watersport activities. Here you can chill on island time, watching the sunset and the kids play, while just feel irie!!!

"Maria Villa" is a 4 bedroom house, with spacious and bright rooms, elegant and tasteful furnishings.
On the ground floor: entrance to the elegant living room with large sofa with a huge flat screen TV, with streaming service; dining room; small service toilet; kitchen with oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with freezer.
The first floor bedroom is equipped with 2 extra long twin beds that can be converted to a king. Bathroom with shower and rails for guests that need extra assistance and a closet.
On the second floor with access also to the roof of the building: there are 2 sprawling balconies - with one at the front, offering a splendid mountain and air port view, and the other to the rear of the property, offering great ocean views, where you will enjoy the views of arriving cruise ships. There are 3 bright, perfectly appointed bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with shower / toilet and air conditioning. Both bedrooms offer serenity, peace, and tranquility, and the natural sound of sea waves is so priceless. It will always put you to sleep.

On our third visit to Villa Maria we took our adult kids and our grandkids ages 11 and 7. We all had a ball. We were met at the airport by Rowan who is like family now. The staff is amazing, property clean and safe and the ocean as blue as I remember. They kids didn't want to leave and we're asking when we could come back.

The property is beautiful, very clean and the staff are awesome! We wanted to brin Chevy, Shelly and Chef home with us! One love! My granddaughter wanted to stay forever. She made sand castles on the beach and lived in the pool. Marco kept the grounds very clean and the pool. The owner was so easy to communicate with and always responded to ALL my questions promptly. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Thank you all for everything ♥️

This house is amazing and I will book again. Everything showed is as pictured. The service and food was amazing. Shelly was amazing and very kind and sweet. Chef bonefish has all of us spoiled with such great authentic Jamaica food The only thing we did not like was the fact that we felt that we didn't have complete privacy meaning that the owner/workers was there everyday most of the day until late afternoon. My opinion when you rent a house you see the owner/workers when you check in and maybe when you check out, unless you call because you have an issue. The property is treated more like an resort so you will see someone everyday.other than that we enjoyed our stay!

Have you ever been catfished by the pictures you see of a property? And when you get there it's not what you thought? That's definitely not the case here. Everything from the layout, the cleanliness, attention to detail, the staff, and of course the legendary Chef Fishbones was as advertised! The house is extremely spacious and accommodating. We didn't expect to have daily staff who were attentive to anything we needed. Safety was truly a priority and we had zero concerns or issues! We were so happy one of our family members is already looking into booking the property again. Thanks for a memorable anniversary! Respect!

We had the absolute best time and it was all because of The Villa Maria staff. They all go above and beyond to foresee and take care of your every need. It started with communication with Wayne- he was very responsive and recommended that we have Chef Fishbones prepare a meal for us on Saturday evening since our flight would not arrive in Jamaica until late in the afternoon. Chef contacted me with the menus to choose from but made it very clear that we could make changes if we so desired. Rowan is the Villa’s manager in Jamaica, he met us at the airport and gave us the grand tour once we arrived at the Villa. He made sure we had all of our questions answered and made us feel very welcome. Hedley was our driver and we took a tour of Montego Bay with him. He’s very knowledgeable and patiently answered all of our questions about his beautiful island home. Chevy is the friend you always had but just met- your butler. She had drinks in your hand before you had a chance to ask for it. She is so very happy to make you happy. Dwight had everything outside just perfect. Our housekeepers were amazing. Back to Chef Fishbones, he was so accommodating from the very star and it just continued. We reserved him every night for dinner and all but one day for breakfast. He is an absolute artist in the kitchen. I promise, you will not find better cuisine anywhere in Jamaica. Every meal was seasoned perfectly and served beautifully. We ate dinner several nights on the beach and it was lovely.

This was our second trip to Villa Maria. It has been a rough year for our families so we invited our supportive Village on a mini vacation to rest and relax at Villa Maria. Villa Maria has made several upgrades since our last trip. They are listening to guests comments and suggestions.
Book Chef Fishbones. He's more than amazing. Our friends were eating food they don't normally eat because it was so appetizing. Massages on the beach were amazing and our Butler made the most amazing poolside drinks. We will be back again!!!

We had a great time at villa maria. The property is beautiful and the staff, especially Shevy and chef Eddie, were wonderful. I highly recommend booking Eddie for at least a couple of meals. The only other meal we had that was as good as his was in negril. Some things did not work in the villa; the air conditioning in one of the bedrooms, the tv outside, and the coffee pot in the kitchen. We were a little disappointed that although it is on the beach the water was too shallow to swim in. We ended up going to Negril to finally enjoy the ocean. The villa is no where near the high end resorts. It’s close to the airport in a run down neighborhood. If that bothers you, I would suggest you book closer to Rose Hall in the high end district.

Myself and 7 friends rented this amazing property to celebrate my 60 th birthday.
The rooms are beautiful and everything is very secure and private. We spent most of the time outdoors, the setup is perfect. Plenty of loungers for everyone, the pool to cool off and the ocean breeze also helped. The large outdoor tv was perfect for music and they have a karaoke mic if you want to sing some songs, which we did..lol
The staff was super helpful and accommodating. Rowan met us at the airport and took amazing care of us. He would just show up to make sure we were okay. If we went anywhere he would ensure we were looked after. Chevy the butler, what a gem!! She made us blender drinks and ensured we had everything we needed. The staff all pitched in decorated the beach for my Birthday dinner..they also made a fire on the beach it was a perfect birthday.Dwight the yard/pool man moved things around if we needed anything.

The cook mr Fishbones, wow!!all I can say is wow!! He cooked for us several nights and all his meals were amazing. We went out to experience some authentic Jamaican food, but honestly Mr Fishbones food was always better. He was always accommodating to food sensitivity. This is a perfect spot and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place that can hold 8 -10 people

Gorgeous property and wonderful people! We were cared for beyond belief by Rowan, Shevy and crew. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and far prefer it to the more expensive and less personalized Sandals nearby.

This property is very nice, staff is very attentive. If I had to complain it would be that this property deserves an upgrade on outdoor furnishings. The outdated furniture does nothing for this property. The AMBIANCE is simply amazing. You have everything you need at this house. The views of the ocean is very serene and relaxing and I like how its next to fisherman. Chef Fishbone is very good but I wish he would resolve to soul food of Jamaica in hindsight he has to appeal to the others that frequent more often than we do. If you give him a time, that is what time the food will be ready, no questions asked.

We had such a great time at Villa Maria and will definitely be back. We stayed for 7 nights and celebrated Christmas there with family and friends. The staff was all amazing and the house beautiful. We felt very taken care of by all. Rowan was so responsive, Mel always there to help spoil us, pool boy I think Dominik was such a great guy and hard worker. Mr. Headley took us anywhere we wanted to go and was always on time. Fishbone was absolutely an amazing chef and it was so nice to have gourmet meals right in the house and not have to leave the beautiful environment to have a meal. Most meals were set up on the beach. I think we used him every night but 1 and breakfast daily. Thank you so much for an amazing Holiday for our family! Location of the Villa was great, it sat right on a small beach in the Community of White House. We walked through the Community several times to go on walks and go to the Beach down the road and felt very safe at all times. Dont hesitate to rent this Villa!!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria. It was exactly like the pictures. The property was immaculate. The staff was awesome, friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They really thought of everything with this property. Also Chef Fishbones was amazing! All of the food was delicious. The only thing we would say is notify the guests before traveling about the cash needed to enjoy the island. We mostly had credit cards and weren't prepared for this aspect.

Absolutely Amazing!
We had a weeding to attend at Sandals Montego Bay and because of the prices there, I decided to try to find a place nearby so it would be more affordable for the entire family.
When I originally booked the place a year+ ago, I admit that I was a bit nervous. Reviews seemed too good to be true and I was totally unfamiliar with the area. . Wow -- what an incredible property staffed with the best people you'll find that catered to our every need. Turns out to be a charming community full of friendly folks -- we even walked back from the wedding in total comfort. To Rowan, Chef Fishbones, Melissa, Shelly, Suzie, Jermaine and Mr. Headley: Thank you for allowing us to feel pretty darn special all week. Wayne, you have an amazing team and property. Thank you all!

Great property, staff, and food!
This villa is everything you could want in a vacation property. I had my bachelorette here for 3 nights/4 days. The house is better in person than pictures. It has spacious bedrooms, large bathrooms, and nice sized living spaces. We felt very safe; the bedroom doors are programmed with the guests fingerprints, main doors are practically bolted and there is video security as well. The best part about this trip was the pool, beach, and staff. The property is on the beach which made for a really nice dinner setting. The staff was awesome. Each of them courteous, patient, and very welcoming from the time we walked into the home. BOOK CHEF FISHBONES! We had him for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every night. Each meal was on point and delicious. Don’t hesitate! Book your stay here!

Authentic Feel
We stayed from May 11th - May 17, 2022. When we pulled up to the village I was prepared on what to expect from reading previous reviews. The house is in a fisherman’s village and will give you a authentic vibe of Jamaica. Everyone enjoyed their stay. The hostess, the housekeepers, the butler and the chef are top notch. I also have to acknowledge Jermanine (the pool guy). He did a superb job at keeping the pool and the beach area clean. He also walked us to the local beach and waited for us until we were done. As we were walking, he gave us info about the village, the different fruit and info about the beach. He’s great! Ok now let’s talk about the chef. Chef Fishbone!! OMG! Words can’t explain. EVERYTHING he made was absolutely delicious! We used him everyday for lunch and dinner. You have to try him!!! He prepared fresh in season meals and he personality is great! His butler Melissa is the kindest most helpful person. She didn’t want us lifting a figure to do anything. She made us feel like we were part of the family! The housekeepers are also great. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and the tried to stay out of our way. This was a great experience and we will be back!

Just book it already!
We travelled to Jamaica with a group of 8 adults for a kid-free week in the sun. Villa Maria proved to be every bit as great as the pictures and reviews claim! We thought we’d just do a couple dinners with Chef Fishbone, but after one dinner with him decided to book him for every night. His food is unreal. Melissa is spectacular and so helpful. Rowan was available anytime we needed anything (and wins the award for having the cutest kid ever). Jermaine made sure the pool and beach were in beautiful condition for us every day. The rest of the staff helped keep the house functioning and working without a hiccup. They are a great team!
Couple things we learned:
1. Bring water shoes. There are a ton of cool shells to check out during low tide, but also plenty of sea urchins to step on if you aren’t careful.
2. The little blue shack outside the front steps of Villa Maria is a little shop. They have some good snacks (try a bun with cheese), cold beer, and sunscreen/aloe if needed.
3. Tropical Bliss Beach is just a couple minute walk down the road and has a cute bar, gift shop, and dj. Several catamaran cruises will pick you up right from the dock at that beach (we did the sunset cruise through Island Routes).
4. There is a good blender for your use if you like to enjoy a blended drink by the pool!
5. You’re going to wish you had booked a longer trip. Add an extra day. 😁
We can’t say enough good things. I hope that we are able to make a return trip soon!

Best Vacation Ever!!!
This was by far our best vacation experience. The property, staff and food were top notch. It was perfect for our annual couples trip and no one wanted to leave. We are already planning a return trip.

I must say I stayed at numerous VRBO’s, but by far this is the best. Chef Fishbone and Melissa were the bomb. They catered my group to every detail . I only eat chicken and fish and my group eats everything. Chef Fishbone made sure I had something to eat. Melissa made us some rum punch it was bomb. Make sure you bring over the 10% tip. I cannot tell how the hospitality was over the top. Rowan took us out on the boat. Sandy and Suzie made sure we didn’t have to lift a finger. Even the owner responded within 5 minutes and was not irritated with all my crazy questions. I booking again to go back. I have been to Montego Bay several times at a resort. I will never stay at a resort again. The white house is my own little resort. The best vacation ever even with rain and curfew. Don’t miss out. I could go on and on. I left there with new friends.

The BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!
I'm so glad I chose to spend my birthday at Beautiful Villa Maria. Wayne was on point responding back to my messages &helping me orchestrate things before I got there.. My group & I loved it here. The House is more Georgeous than the pictures!! OMG the staff was amazing!!! They went above & beyond to make my day special & it was. From the moment we arrived to the villa they made us feel at home. Rowan was the BEST!! Anything we needed he made it happen ..he even drove us around town a few times!!! Melissa is something Special...My Mom can't stop talking about her!! She was the Best Butler ever..she wouldn't let me lift a finger lol!! Chef Bone Food was delicious every night& morning. I was so sad when we left the villa...I miss everyone already!! Im ready to book Villa Maria for my birthday next Year. I will definitely be back !!! Where do I Start...
OMG from Donna the driver, to Rowan the host, Chef FishBone, Shelly the housekeeper, I have no words to truly express how off the chain our stay was. Never experienced superhosts before. They came to work and gave off a great vibe immediately, felt like I was amongst family. They catered to our requests with a smile and no complaints. Life changing vacation experience
Staying at Villa Maria was the second half of our week vacation in Jamaica. It turned out to be the best part of our vacation. We were greeted by our new second family on the island: Rowan, manager; Melissa, butler; housekeepers Susie and Shelley and Chef Fishbones.
The staff gave us a tour of the property and had prepared a light meal upon our arrival. The villa is a smart home and all rooms are unlocked with your fingerprint. Wifi is available in the villa and all the tvs have Amazon Firesticks. The villa and neighborhood are very safe. I never worried about our safety.
The villa is immaculately clean at all times. The beds are very comfortable and you can't hear the airplanes if you 're inside the Villa.
The views are breathtaking at sunrise and sunset. We had breakfast on the pool deck and dinner on the beach prepared by Chef Fishbones. Chef Fishbones is an amazing chef with a passion for what he does. His love of food and people is contagious. Do not miss the opportunity to have him prepare your meals.
This was an amazing experience and we're already making plans to come back again.

Wonderful
We stayed from May 16-20 and enjoyed every moment of the stay. The chef cooked a wonderful meal upon arrival, the housekeepers were friendly, the butler Melissa was friendly and did very well on accommodating all needs.
Rowan the host during the stay arranged to help me find Braider’s for my hair, found medication for my headache and had the chef whip up a meal in seconds. It was overall good experience.
I would recommend adding a scale in the house to weigh bags ( we shopped while there so the bags were heavier when leaving of course) so that would help guest. I would also recommend guest having American cash on hand at all times. You see many things you want to purchase while out around shopping and in most cases they would rather American cash.
This was our first trip there and we will certainly be back.

Authentic Jamaican Experience
My family and I loved our time at Villa Maria and more importantly, we expanded our family circle! The villa was spacious with great amenities including private pool and beach, outdoor and indoor games, TVs with streaming service, and balconies with beautiful views!! Also, the villa is part of Whitehouse fishing village which allowed us to mingle and experience local Jamaican traditions. Rowan, Melissa, Chef Fishbone and the housekeepers took very good care of all of our needs and wants from the time we arrived. Don’t miss out on Chef Fishbone extensive menu of excellent Jamaican dishes!!! It was so nice to just relax and recharge and have someone take care of us for a week. We can’t wait to return and will make this a regular part of our future travel plans.

Outstanding , gorgeous , and paradise !!!!
The Villa Maria was more than what my family and I expected. The entire staff was professional and made us feel at home. Chef fish bones !!!! Was amazing the food was flavorful and worth every penny plus more. The locals were so friendly and made us feel like we belonged. When we had to leave my 1 year old didn’t want to leave she really enjoyed everything and gave everyone hugs. We can’t wait to go back to the Villa Maria. Thank you everyone for doing such an amazing job and for making our trio special.

This is an amazing property. Clean and well maintained! My friends and family had a great time. There was enough personal space and activities for everyone. The staff were so nice and helpful! The food was delicious! We will definitely be back!

Villa Maria is a PARADISE
My wife and I and a group of friends visited Jamaica for the first time from September 17th through the 21st of 2020. We stayed at Villa Maria in Montego Bay. As soon as we arrived at the airport we had a representative from villa Maria waiting for us with a name plate. The ride to the Villa was a great experience as the driver gave us some historical information about certain area along the way. Upon arrival we were greeted by the house manager and the other staff members . The true Jamaican experience and Friendly staff ready to cater to all your needs: Melissa, Shelley, Susie were there to greed us with refreshment (drinks). Rowan the house manager wasted no time checking us in our rooms. The food was great! The chef was amazing! He prepared some delicious dishes for us. Everyone’s rooms was amazing, my husband and I stayed on the second floor the master bedroom which was breath taking. We enjoyed the beautiful pool at the villa and the amazing beach view. The staffs were so friendly and outgoing while we were there. The property is very well maintained. We cannot wait to return to Villa Maria in the near future. We had a blast 💥�

Float your day away
Upon arrival, we were picked up at the airport by Rowan, the manager. He then had the driver stop by the grocery store so we could pickup some things to have on hand. At the Villa we were greeted at the door by Melissa, the Butler, with a tray of tropical drinks and inside a buffet of food awaited us to nibble on as Fish Bone started dinner. HIRE THE CHEF!!!! ~ Chef Fish Bone is a creative chef, full of humor and surprised us everyday with island dishes plus some special requests. We booked the Chef for both breakfast and dinner meals. Best decision ever. ~ Melissa, the Butler, is the one in charge of your every request, your comfort and is just a delight to see everyday. She is there to serve and represents the Villa with an excellent level of customer service. Housekeepers Suzie and Nadra floated through the day taking care of everything. Please don't try to pickup or do dishes, just not allowed...lol...They were so sweet and we loved hearing about island life. When you meet Omar, you will not forget him. He is the Groundsman and keeps the property in top shape and the pool area is always in ready condition. Then there is Rowan ~ he's the manager and runs a tight ship. For that we were grateful. He checked on us , took us out in the glass bottom boat and took us on walks into the village to meet the locals. We were there to relax from our regular lives so we were content to just hang at the pool and float. [and eat again and float} The Villa is very high tech, spotlights, security and lovely neighbors. Be sure to meet Jeff the artist and Norman the fisherman. We had regular conversations with Jeff in the morning and learned about the island and the Whitehouse Village. One day we were able to tour the local school and the children were happy to see us. My memories are still strong of this experience, the people who took care of us, that became friends, are missed. We will always remember our time at the Villa, but mostly, the new family we left behind. Villa Maria is an experience like no other. ~

Awesome Experience/Villa Maria
After staying at Villa Maria, I don't want to Vacation any other way. The level of service we received can't be matched on a resort.
Before I boarded my flight that morning Rowan (the house manager) sent me several text messages providing me with arrival instructions and wising me safe travels. He was in constant communication with me until I arrived. Rowan was the best. He made it clear to us that he was available 24/7 and could arrange anything we needed.
The process with Chef Fishbone was very easy. Due to his awesome food and genuine personality we ended up using this service more than we initially planned and it was worth it!
Melissa the butler and remaining staffl were very welcoming and willing to accommodate all our needs. I feel bad I don't remember the Gardner's name but he worked hard EVERYDAY to maintain the pool and beach area and provide fresh beach towels.
Our Driver Mr. Headly was the BEST. He is the MAN in Montego Bay. He made us feel safe. He escorted us into to every place we went. He got us a two for one deal on the admission at the night club. We had planned to go to one place for dinner when we arrived it was closed for a private event. He suggested another restaurant and it was awesome. I can't put into words the service he provided.
The Villa itself was very clean and the views were AMAZING! This was my second time staying off a resort but first time staying in a location that is not a gated community. However, we felt so SAFE. The security features the house were equipped with made us feel safe. Although, we did not have any interaction with the locals in our neighborhood they did not make us feel unsafe or anything.
Lastly, Wayne the owner was very responsive. Anytime I sent him a message he replied immediately and answered all my questions thoroughly. Also, he was very accommodating. Our flight didn't leave until 5pm and he allowed us to stay at the Villa until it was time to leave and he did not charge a late check out fee.
I really can't put into words how awesome this experience was for me and my guest. Book NOW, you won't be disappointed!!!!
