Well priced on booking.com, very good value.
Good location.
Minor issues really, no coffee and no guest bar of soap in bathroom.

Beautiful location and very friendly helpful staff and good breakfast
The bathroom needs some repairs

The staff were amazing, the hotel and gardens were stunning! It really is a special place. The rooms were comfortable with nice views of the golf course. All the fountians were beautiful.
There is not much not to like. The hotel restaurant just had a very limited set menu, so I would recommend you rather have meals at the club house.

The staff is excellent! We were well taken care of.
The bathrooms really need some updating. There was a leak by the toilet in our room and the tap wouldn't close properly.

Very charming old world hotel in a beautiful setting. We loved sipping cocktails in their very comfortable lounge.
Breakfast was also a delight. We were happy with the choice of either the clubhouse or the restaurant for dinner. Both were well priced.
We were in Rooms 61 and 62 which was at the end of the property close to the maintenance area. This meant we heard a constant buzz from the pool pump and other mechanical noises. Don't book these 2 rooms! We now know better for our next visit!

Rooms clean and comfortable.
Great selection for breakfast.
Lovely fires for the cold
Definitely need backup during loadshedding in the rooms.
Not pleasant being in pitch dark and locating your room in the dark.

The hotel staff was really friendly and professional. The garden view form ours rooms was spectacular.
We were out of electricity for about 2 hours, due to loadshedding and the generator was not switched on.

The comfortable, peaceful, quiet environment. The friendly staff, the restaurant and the food was good, seafood basket is a must. Sightings of small buck was a surprise!
The noisy Sunday morning woken by gardens being cleaned and cut. There isnt much to do on the premises, one must prepare for activities in surrounding areas.

I liked everything, the cleanliness and the location and the staff. I also liked that there are 2 restaurants on the premises. It is tranquil so you can rest without disturbance. The food served was exquisite.
There was nothing I did not like.

The rooms were shared but did not have enough towels & just gown

The breakfast was yummy and there was a variety in the buffet.
The kids entertainment area needs to be revamped and more activities provided e.g: board games, tv games.
TV in the room did not have dstv or Netflix to enjoy a good movie.

Excellent Resort, accessibility to the highway, great for relaxing, walks, food & drink. Staff pleasant & very helpful. Had a wonderful stay .
Nothing.

Croissants were hard. Muffins were stale. Told because of load shedding no hot milk for tea. Gas stove not available??.
Because of load shedding to save money generators not started but no torches or candles in rooms which were pitch black. How would one find your way around if there was a fire? No way to contact reception in an emergency.

We have stayed here before and value the experience.

Staff were all quite charming and well worth the stay just for that.Dinner obviously catered to a large group of men because meat was in abundance there being little other choice. However being meat eaters ourselves we were quite satisfied. Room could possibly do with a little revamping however it retained its olde world charm and the bathroom facilities were excellent with a nice strong shower. Excellent value for money.
Dinner could have been more diverse.

The staff made us comfortable
I thought our rooms will be at ground level since they were called garden rooms

Just a Golf Location
Everything that has to do with unit. Cockroach 🪳 everywhere, still sleeping as couple staff just get inside the room without even knocking in the morning, issue on gate code, i had to call receptionist now and again for access. Bathroom floor on the shower is sleepery and there was no warnings.

Fairway Room was very convenient.
The breakfast service can be improved. Very slow.

The golf course is in perfect condition
Staff had a bad attitude and did not know what they were doing. Food was not up to standard for the price you pay. Rooms were not adequately cleaned. On three occasions we had to ask them to bring towels as towels were not replaced even after the room being cleaned. Our room door had little splatters of blood on it which was quite unnerving. The cost of the accommodation, it is not value for money. It may have been a great accommodation once upon a time but standards have dropped.
