Wonderful location with superb, elevated views across Knysna. The welcome was warm and genuine, and the facilities were ample for our short stay. The honesty bar was a touch and well stocked with wines, beers, spirits etc. Even had an ice bucket to chill our bottle of wine.
Nothing really to complain about. Breakfast at 8:00 wasn't exactly ready for 08:00, with staff still busy setting things up. If you are on a very tight schedule it may have been an issue. Could have just been a one off.

Phenomenal views from the best room and patio of Villa Castollini (VC) spent 9nights there: observing the estuary filling up and then decreasing level in synchrony with the tides. Great manager: Carin expertly managed the staff and errands exceptionally well; she booker Christmas lunch at Anchorage. shared verbal feedback with Carin about her personal experience during the devastating fires a few days ago: how staff stayed on to help; refurbish the damaged building and.
I will certainly book to spend time in that facility again.
Awesome contemporary restaurant 5’ away on the opposite slope of the Western Head. ENTIRE TEAM: tipped generously on our departure.

very beautiful and amazing view. the rooms are very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was also great, wide variety of cold and hot food.
the pipes are a bit noisy when some flushes the toilet. but you get used to it. really not a deal breaker

Management was very helpful and accommodating
It would have been useful to have DSTV in the rooms.
It would have been helpful if milk had been supplied on arrival and tea and coffee sachets were filled up. A couple of rusks in the room would be a nice little extra.

Thank you for upgrading our room for free.
Our bathroom mats were dirty. Housekeeping removed them but did not replaced them with clean ones during our stay. Our room was not serviced on our last day and the bed was not made either.
