Tout! Emplacement parfait.

Beautiful historical hotel with gorgeous grounds. Nice pool and bar. Good food. Tremendously easy access to the Uxmal ruins.
Only breakfasts on site - all other meals must be found offsite. AC in every room struggles to keep up in 106 deg heat but largely due to older building and room styles

What an amazing place! Loved the history behind the place and reading all the biographies of the famous visitors on the walls. The room, the grounds and the pool were lovely. The staff was so kind and welcoming. We took a tour of the plantation in a vintage vehicle, it seems expensive but we had a wonderful time trying all the fruit, hearing the history of the property and listening to our great guide.
The menu options at the restaurant across the road (from the same company) are a bit limited, not a problem for us as we only stayed one night.

The pool was big and the location just in front of the entrance to the Uxmal ruins is the big plus of this hotel.
The was no real comfortable chair to sit outside the room in the evening. Compared to other hotels the price was a bid high maybe. No posiblity to get food in the evening.

This is a very convenient hotel for visits to Uxmal and many sites nearby, with comfortable rooms and the Uxmal site just across the street.
The hotel feels like a tourist factory, ready to process large groups of visitors. We were there in low season, with only 5 of the 100 (?) rooms occupied. Staff was totally disinterested, unwilling to serve drinks, uninterested to help with luggage. It took 20 minutes to get a beer and staff wanted immediate cash payment. The area around the pool was a total mess, with animal droppings not being cleaned up.

big bedroom & bathroom, nice toiletry set, towel sets were cleaned
bath tub was too big which may cause a injury. hotel passed a wrong message that the breakfast was included when we checked in, however, it was a pay breakfast when we turn up.

The old pictures displayed around gave a feel of the time. We loved the large fixed window in the room.
The restaurant was ridiculously expensive. On the day we arrived, we had dinner. The quality was fine but not worth the money at all. During our stay for 6 nights, we never went back to the restaurant. We happened to see others did the same. It's pretty bad that people have to avoid the restaurant in the hotel.

Location is excellent for exploring Uxmal (you can visit it in the morning while there are no tourists and watch a special night shows when regular tourists leave the place). The hotel itself is a kind of place to explore: authentic, with a lot of history. The staff is very helpful. They helped us with booking very interesting tours around Uxmal, we saw really cool Mayan places with a few / no other tourists there. Thank you!

a beautiful old hacienda with an amazing pool and perfectly located: walking distance to the ruins and the chocolate museum.
the food could have been a bit better but given the limited number of guests it was totally fine. we would definitely return!

Very nice pool area, perfect for a relaxing afternoon after visiting Uxmal. Big rooms and comfortable beds.
The breakfast was tasty, especially the homemade marmelade. But it was way overpriced
