The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There were many benefits during our stay, free 3-course dinner and full access to the spa.
Nothing.

room smelt musty and requires updating

It was spotlessly clean and so comfortable.
That the tea area wasn’t fully stocked.

The buffet breakfast had a full range and the extra menu items were very good. The splendid ornate breakfast room was amazing and created such a good atmosphere for having breakfast. The grounds offered a peaceful relaxation place amongst the fountain and fragrant plants. To be able to use all the facilities after the check out time was very good. We used the bicycles and the spa, and did not leave until 3pm.
Although the planes flying out of the nearby Luton Airport did not annoy use we could imagine it could put a few people off. They do not fly over the hotel, but you can slightly hear them. Do not be put off by this point.

Beautiful buildings, grounds and rooms. Different places to eat and drink.
The only negatives were a pre-ordered breakfast arriving an hour late and the air-con not working.

Breakfast fast service, beautiful room and good offering. External grounds and main mansion house lovely
External ground and main house beautiful. Country club rooms need an upgrade, looked drab and dated. No usb ports in room and when requested usb plug the hotel had none so phone and watch lost battery on stay. 1 towel offered for double room,
Food and service at Adam’s Brassiere awful and poor value for money. The dinning room of Brasserie was drab and unwelcoming -for the rating of hotel the bars and restaurant and rooms in country club need urgent upgrading.
Check in was awful , got ferried from one terminal to other. There were over 6 staff at small reception crowding the area talking amongst themselves and made initial impression of hotell poor. Took over 15 mins to get checked in as computer terminal login didn’t work for the receptionist. Honestly expected much better experience from Luton Hoo for price they charge

Beautiful property with amazing decor and views! The room was massive with both a bath and shower! The bed was very comfortable!
The signal there is limited and the WiFi wasn’t very strong from our room. Our TV also didn’t work in our bedroom.

The room was amazing, the size to the how clean it was. Tea and coffee in the room were a lovely touch. Spa was lovely, the only thing there was no plug to use my hair tools. Breakfast had so many options to chose from and food was fresh! The grounds exceeded our expectations and were amazing to look at and walk around!
Only in the spa to have access to plugs, for hair straighteners

Great location and setting. We have stayed before. We didnt use the spa this time but previously it has always been great.
We were told that we had been upgraded (which was a lovely surprise), but when we arrived at our room, there were dead flies all over the bathroom floor. Housekeeping were called and immediately cleaned the room again but when we returned that evening there were more flies!
Breakfast was self service and I always think, in a hotel like this, that it should be table service. We weren't offered a menu but later a guest told me that I could have ordered eggs etc from the kitchen. I then ordered avocado on toast with poached eggs which was great. Just wish the waitress had informed us on arrival.

Location
Terribile new management. Very disorganised and slow service. Customer service is not as it used to be. Dinner was awful and we got food poisoning from the breakfast. Manager couldn't care less of our poor experience. They advertise an indoor swimming pool but the water is so cold that really you can't swim in it. It was our second time in this place, never again.

From the moment my mother (96) stepped out of the car and was met by Richard who escorted her up the stairs to reception it set the tone of what was to come. All the staff we met (Kevin) are ambassadors for the hotel and set an atmosphere you can relax in. The cream tea family celebration was joyful as my mother turned 96 on the 12th November. The response when the TV wasn't working, the prompt response for some extra milk in our room, excellent.
Sorry I haven't got any dislikes.

Amazing location in the middle of a sea of green - golf fields and trees. Super comfortable beds and outstanding staff. Luton airport taxi fare is excellent (£25).
The armchairs were sold and so uncomfortable that I couldn’t even use them. Shower was almost good but the showerhead was not working properly. Oh … and if you have a sensitive ear while you’re sleeping, you should know that some times planes are pretty loud.

We spent one night at the hotel. The room was great. Very comfortable bed and lovely spacious clean bathroom. We stayed in the annexe in a ground floor room which had a little private terrace. It was lovely and quiet. We ate in the main dining room for dinner which was excellent with very helpful, friendly staff. We had breakfast in the country club which was also excellent. Overall a really positive and pleasurable experience.

Atmosphere exceptional and very conducive for relaxation.
Lots of space.
Lovely staff and good to catch up with those who've been there a while.
Service very good.
A little to busy during peak hours, not least in the lovely spa.
In some parts a small amount of refresh is needed.
