Great hotel for one week vacation in Sardinia

We had a great experience in San Francisco hotel. The size of the room with the balcony see view was perfectly enough to rest after the whole day of sight seeing and beach. The staff was very helpful and gave us a great tip for a boat trip, they were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Breakfast was ok, coffee was great :)

The bathroom could have been a bit more modern. Less variety for breakfast for our taste

Superb

Great position of the hotel, and cool people are working at the reception. There is a restaurant which has great pizza, and also there is a good ice cream shop.

Parking somewhere around is almost impossible. It's a town crowded with rental cars. The people from the reception helped us a couple of times, but it's a real gamble to find a parking spot around

The location is great, near the beach and port. The host named Peter who served us very well as he able to give us a lot of information pertaining to activities and places to eat.

They provided simple breakfast however not a problem for us as everything is ok in there.

Exceptional

Location was ideal, restaurant on premise was delish, breakfast room nice too. Room was worn but very clean. We ended up extending our stay and the prior hotel could not accommodate us so we went here and glad we did. Staff was great too

very good location, a lot of restaurants nearby, very close to the sea. Staff are super nice. Room is cozy.

the AC is not very powerful, room is too warm sometimes even the AC is set to the strongest settings. Breakfast lacks salty options.

Very close to the centre. Staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was big and had a balcony with a view.

Had to pay an extra €40 at check out for the room with the view which I ask when I booked. I was told via email , I would get it included in the price if it was available, unless I would wanted to reserve it which I did not confirm it. At the check in the receptionist only mentioned a surcharge for a tax per night per person which made me think it was included in the price as mentioned.Just make this things clear at check in to avoid disappointment.

We arrived late and although the check in was closed the stuff found a solution So that we could enter. Stuff the NexT day was really friendly and ready to help.

All the photos were with sea view and actually there was no sea view At all. There was no hot water and it was not nice not to be able to Take a shower when we arrived. The furniture is pretty modest in the room, looked nicer in the photos. There was noise on the hall starting 6-7 a.m. And it’s not really the time you want to wake up on holiday.

Clean elegant hotel. Nice location. Cala Gonone itself is beautiful.

Breakfast room is absolutely not according to the Corona rules! Very small area. We have seen tourists from the UK coughing next to the food! Probably, nothing dangerous, but it made a bad impression. There is no parking. We found a free spot very close to the hotel for one night and the paid parking for the other night. For a longer stay it could be a problem. There is actually no any sea view possible from none of the rooms, because the hotel is located on a narrow street surrounded by other buildings. Fortunately, we were on the 2nd floor. From the lower floor the view would be not nice.

Really a gem if you don`t have issues with falling asleep.

Great hotel and great services. Big room, new furniture, A/C, hot water/water pressure, everything was spot clean. Great services from the personnel. We also enjoyed the restaurant. Good prices and tasty food. We ended eating at their restaurant for 3 days after we tried several other options with better TripAdvisor reviews and all were expensive and bland food. Cala Gonone is so small that everything is 5 minute away so don`t worry about location (except full sea view).

The only bad thing is that if you have trouble sleeping is not the best choice. A lot of noise due to bad design: - constant slamming doors noises due to system chosen for closing doors. - loud noise due to the material picked for floors. - white noise due to the fact that the restaurant terrace is really close to the hotel (5meters) and on the same level as 1st floor. I usually fall asleep in less than 1 minute but here when I was not really tired I had issues falling asleep.

Perfect location, pretty old design

Location is perfect - a few steps from the beach. The city is on a mountain, so any step is counted for 10 e.g. location of this hotel is ideal for elderly, kids or someonу lazy to climb :) The staff was very friendly and helpful in finding parking or any other question.

The hotel is clean but pretty old. The room lacks light because the blind can't be fully opened. In the morning we didn't have hot water in our shower.

Good location

We liked the central location, luckily we had no problems finding a parking spot either. Clean, nice, basic.

We thought it was already a bit expensive for what it was and 8e per person for breakfast was too much so we didn't go for it. For the price we paid we had breakfast included in all other places in sardinia.

Good value

Room nice clean and tidy Air conditioning working very well , however our friends room next to us AC was faulty I can’t imagine staying in the room where is hot as 35 degrees outside . Very tiny balcony . The biggest plus was the jacuzzi. We really enjoyed our stay . Thank you
