Schoon, grote kamers, goed bed en douche. Prima parkeren en Tesla superchargers voor de deur

Ontbijt erg eenvoudig. Ongeveer 10 minuten rijden van de snelweg.

Prettig verblijf vlakbij de Gotthardtunnel

Het receptiepersoneel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er was de mogelijkheid om te dineren en ontbijt was prima verzorgd. Het dinermenu was nu niet erg uitgebreid en andere restaurants zijn op 30 minuten loopafstand. De kamer was ruim en schoon en de badkamer was goed. De kast in de kamer vond ik prettig. Zodat mijn koffer op hoogte kon neerleggen.

Ik vroeg bij binnenkomst specifiek of ik goede wifi zou hebben op de kamer. Ja zeker was het antwoord. Dat bleek niet zo te zijn. Om de 2 seconden sprong mijn telefoon van de wifi. Gemeld bij receptie, ze zouden de router opnieuw starten. Probleem bleef hetzelfde, op andere plekken in het hotel had ik er geen last van. Dus heb ik op de gang staan bellen.

nice hotel near Gottard tunnel

The location is right after the Gottard tunnel, coming from Lucerne towards Lugano. It's in a nice and quiet area. The room was clean and the breakfast was decent. As a plus, it has free parking and multiple charging stations if you have an electric car.

Such a lovely straight forward hotel ...easy access ..free great parking ..if your to late for food garage 200m walk ...accomodating friendly hotel staff...would defo stay there again

Close to Gotthard tunnel and Ambri Piotta Arena

It´s half an hour walk to the Icehockey Arena of Ambri Piotta and not far away from the motorway. They have a bar which is open until 02:00 am and this of course very positive, as there is not much around.

The location is good, if you want to stay near the St. Gotthardt tunnel on the way to/from Italy.

Where to start?! When we booked via Booking.com, we selected a room for two persons. The last option was a tripple room for two. Upon arrival at night, the receptionist remarked in a very rude manner that we had booked a room for three, but we were only two people. Mind you, that was the only option via Booking and we paid for a proper three-bedroom. Since he was obviously annoyed, we said that we would be glad to downgrade to a two-bedroom, but then he told us they were booked out. We didn’t understand his point at all. Then we tried to find a parking slot just to find out that there was none. After a while, another staff member moved his car, which was parked in front of the hotel’s backdoor and told us to just park there. It was a bad spot, but at least we were able to park there in the end. The room was very simple, the hallway run down. Breakfast was very basic with limited options and it was presented in an unhygienic way, especially considering Covid measures. When you want to use the restrooms on the ground floor where breakfast is served, you will find that the doors are locked and a bartender will tell you you have to buy a drink at the bar, so they will unlock the restroom door. Poor value for money. We suggest to find a better place.

Very nice and comfortable, but maybe too expensive for a highway motel

We stayed one night for a stopover during our trip to Italy. The hotel has a perfect location on the highway, just after the Gotthard Tunnel It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and they propose also dinner menu, which we didn’t try. The personnel was friendly.

It was too expensive for a Motel, but I guess this is normal in Switzerland.
