Location great view. Grounds & scuba people were very helpful.

They need to rework the menu. Not very great. I would recommending getting a definition of what it is that you will be ordering. For example order a club sandwich you get ham egg and cheese sandwich single level. Cesar salat you get a tossed salad. Food was so so

Very enjoyable, peaceful stay surrounded by beautiful nature.

The property is very well tended. Closeness to the sea causes problems with rust that are very hard to battle but the resort management is quite successful in this regard. A decent sized swimming pool and jacuzzi are spotless and very warm (approx. 34 degrees C). Many asian glossy starlets and even orioles with bright yellow feathers are greeting in the morning. The resort and dive staff are always friendly, helpful and accommodating in every aspect. We have been around the Philippines in the last years but we never experienced proper red wine glasses in any of the resorts. Blue Star had them, nice ones even. The dishes were freshly cooked and further requests for specialities such as fresh fish, more garlic or prawns willingly complied with. Every Wednesday they prepare in a wood oven delicious fresh pizzas. Excellent experience! There are plenty dive sites covering reef drop offs, sand flats, channels and expansive soft coral dominated reef flats, with abundant fish and invertebrate live. 3 species of turtles are very common and seen often while diving or snorkeling. Rare blue, green and red anemones and their symbiotic clown fish can be found by the exploding eye. There is a huge resident Barakuda of about 5-6 ft length. One day we even observed from the boat a pod of pilot whales with calves hunting squid and surfacing close to the boat. Beautiful sight.

Just a suggestion: it would be nice to have moskito screens at the sliding doors to the balcony and the bathroom. That way the sea breeze could be enjoyed without the insects entering the bungalow.

Professionally run cottage resort with a refreshing pool.

The views from the seaside units are stunning and then relaxing. The pool is clean and refreshing. Staff are attentive and responsive and uphold professional standards.

a replay cozy pleasant stay you need to go when you’re in Bohol

- super friendly staff (all of them!), well trained and always helpful - amazing view from the room balcony - clear water, perfect also for snorkeling (not only diving) and you can see turtles - the dinner is delicious (vegetable food available) - the resort itself very cozy, it feels like a big family - clean and spacious rooms - big and comfortable beds - it’s easy to book scooter and tours directly at the reception counter - free daily instant coffee and water in your room

a very comfortable and enjoyable experience and great for diving

lovely grounds / pool area set overlooking the sea so was really nice. the rooms are very spacious and clean with good facilities.the restaurant food was really good and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

only downside in my bathroom was the shower , the power was very weak and to keep hot water you could not take the shower hose off the hook otherwise it went cold

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Star Dive and Resort. It is beautifully located directly at the sea (perfect for snorkeling and diving). The garden and pool are very nice, too. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and even adapted to our needs. The restaurant is perfect for dinner. Everything we had was very, very tasty and beautifully plated (try the Pad Thai!). We booked several dives at the dive center with the dive master Arjie and can absolutely recommend it. He was very talented in finding all the small hidden animals.

The bathroom in our bungalow could need some renovation. The WiFi didn't work sometimes in our room.

Great staff, very serviceminded and friendly, nice pool area and amazing snorkling. The reef is located just below the staircase. Nice deluxe villa with a sea view. Very friendly and skilles dive/snorkling master

The beach is not really a beach for sun bathing and relaxing. The staircase is old and needs a repair.

Pefect spot for divers

Some of the best customer service I have received in the Philippines, simply fabulous staff. The restaurant was very good and had lovely fresh fish daily. The views across the water were beautiful.

Superb

The service is exceptional. Nothing was too much for them to handle. They always tried their hardest and gave us options we didn't even think of. The venue looks fantastic. Beautiful surroundings. Very quiet and secluded.

The pool is always warm as there is no shade over the water. When you want a cold swim you can't. Also the pool and the jacuzzi is not cleaned frequently. The showers are very lacking of pressure and no hot water. Noisy beds

A beautiful place to relax and chill. we booked for two nights and stayed a week!

Everything! The view from the seafront bungalow is amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly (helping us hire scooters etc). The pool was beautiful and well kept. And the best thing was you can snorkel off the rocks and guarantee seeing turtles…just stunning!

The property was further out than we had anticipated but we hired a scooter which made it easier however there wasn’t a beach which was a big disappointment. But all in all the peace and tranquility over rode the negative.

Enjoyed my stay very much.

The food was good, the staff was awesome, the pool and rest of the grounds were very nice.

There wifi really sucks and there's minor repairs that should be done. For paying top price at a resort like this was kinda sad to see the little things stand out.
