Atenção recebida tanto de Fábio como de Francesca, limpeza, café da manha, fizeram um up grade de quarto para nós

The breakfast was nice, the pastries were delicious. We got a free room upgrade when we arrived, which was a kind unexpected treat. The hotel staff is amazing and provided good recommendations of places and restaurants to visit.
We went there over the 01-May public holiday, and finding a parking spot was tricky. We always managed but it was not hassle-free. Be mindful of that if going by car especially in peak periods.

Located in the old part of the town, in the area with the fish restaurants :)
Staff very friendly and nice.
Good breakfast.
Not the hotel, but the old town feeling overall is pretty sad.
Highly recommend the Museum of Taranto! It really helps understand the history of the town.

The location of the place is very good
It’s in the old town and looks like if the hole place is under construction but you have everything you need. It is hard to find a place where to park. Staff is very helpful and breaks was ok.
We stayed here with my 1y old baby that is starting to walk she ended up with back feet as the floor wasn’t clean. Thought we call reception and they sent some one to clean the room

That I couldn’t control the air conditioning to lower it to the temperature I wanted - which was colder. The hotel locked it at 22 Celsius.

The hotel was in a very good location to see all that Taranto has to offer. It was very very clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.
It was an excellent hotel for our stay but perhaps the breakfast which was included could have been a tiny bit better.

Boutique hotel in the old city within walking distance to the cathedral and castle.
Staff were friendly and welcoming and the welcome drink and pastries were most appreciated.
Room spotless and bed comfortable.
Fabulous seafood restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel which we went to twice.
we highly recommend this property when visiting Taranto.
The breakfast was okay, but not brilliant.

The hotel is charming and very well located in the old city.
Staff is dynamic and welcoming: Mrs. Francesca called the museum to double check the opening hours (btw the museum collection is AMAZING), outdoor parking place was organised for us upon request (smooth, easy procedure).
We received a welcoming -and tasty- ice tea&cake upon arrival and in addition we have been upgraded with a room with terrasse :)
Important to us: bed was really good quality.
Sweet and savoury breakfast with home made cakes (complimenti al Sig. Fabio per la torta di mele)
The overall experience is very positive and I can recommand the place for the location, comfort and the very friendly/efficient staff.
One gentle suggestion would be to get the airco less noisy. We needed it during the night because we had to keep the windows shut (church bells ring every hour). Fine tuning this would be great :)

The hotel is in a great location in the old town and walking distance to the train station and new town. The bed was comfy. The staff were so helpful! They booked us into a guided tour of the castle, called a taxi for us and let us check out late for a small fee.

nothing too bad, nothing good
Before evaluating the hotel, I would like to report the following fact that occurred at the time the reservation was made through the Booking app. The reservation was made two months ahead of my travel, for 2 rooms for the period 20-27/04, with free cancelation. When I clicked to select the second room, I mistakenly selected only one of the two rooms with a non-refundable rate. I realized the error a minute later, and I immediately called Booking to inform them of the error, and they offered to contact the hotel to resolve the issue. The same day, I received a negative response about the problem, saying the hotel couldn’t do anything. I personally called the hotel the next day and received the same negative response. Since they refused to refund the money (I cancelled the room for free), I tried to negotiate and even asked them to split the 7-nights reservation into one room for 4 nights and one for 3 nights, which was also denied. I contacted them several other times, always with negative responses. After many calls, I learned that Booking could not accept two types of rates on the same reservation and, even so, they did not reconsider my case. At the end, I payed for 3 nights I did not use. There wasn’t any kind of understanding by the part of both Booking and the Hotel.
The hotel is regular and was very empty during my stay. In other words, my mistake, which was identified after 5 minutes, was not going to harm the hotel.

The room was big enough and Francesca could not be more helpful with a lot of tips about restaurants in the neighborhood and with the hotel.
The hotel is located at the entrance to the old city of Taranto which is to be renovated. Nothing much to visit or see.

A very comfortable room and very clean. We were greeted very warmly when we arrived and complimentary drinks were delivered to our room. The hotel is an easy walk from the station and close to all the old town sights. Good recommendations for dinner and beautiful breakfast.

very small, small room, shower was tiny had to fix it on wall. breakfast was disappointing hardly anything there. no coffee machine you had to keep asking for more coffee. the guy working in the morning in the restaurant was very miserable. the 2 reception staff were lovely especially the young girl. she greeted us very warmly with a glass of cold aperitif.

Plenty of options at breakfast. Small but well-equipped room. Good shower. Helpful staff (a welcome drink and snack were delivered to our room shortly after we checked in).
No complaints. We stayed only one night.

We opted for the room with the terrace right off the room (in the pictures, it's the room to the right that doesn't show a metal balcony, and has a cloth roof), and enjoyed it very much; it was large, held a large table and chairs, faced the clock tower, and expanded the size of our room significantly. The room was pleasant, and bed comfortable. Some neighborhood noise added to the authentic feel of the location, and always ended early. The location was on the far end of the old Taranto island and it was short (20 minutes, maybe) and interesting walking through Taranto Vecchio along Via Duomo and side alleys, or scenic walking along the waterfront promenade, when we wanted to get to the new town for the museum or passeggiata. (Note: on Via Duomo, we enjoyed stopping for a drink at Caffé Letterario.) There were good seafood restaurants right on the square in front of the hotel (see photo for recommendation.) Breakfast was good and varied. Considering it's parking limited, we had no trouble locating it and dropping off and picking up our luggage; the parking was reasonably priced, easy to find and within 10 minutes walk. We were glad to stay in this area early in the upgrades for the 2026 games.

Outstanding reception staff! The gentleman name Fabio who checked us in was extremely helpful, kind and gave us a lot of information about things to see in Taranto and surrounding towns. He recommended us to visit Restaurant Il Pinnacolo in Alberobello, which was absolutely amazing. Upon arrival we received complimentary welcome drink and amaretti biscuits which was a very nice touch. At the breakfast buffet there was a savoury food selection as well as sweet pastries, yogurts, juices and delicious coffee. The room itself was comfortable, but a bit outdated.

The location of the hotel is good for a walk in the historical center and close to railway and bus stations, very practical when you travel by public transfer, and also restaurants are nearby. The receptionists were super friendly, Francesca showed me the hotel's photo album of "before and after" - really worth seeing what they achieved. Fingers crossed that the entire city manages likewise. Taranto's old quarter and the Lungomare deserve the "renaissance".
all ok.

Beautiful room with pleasant balcony, great location in città vecchia.
Nothing. Just a note that maybe breakfast could be better.

Really great hotel, helpful staff - Francesca was really great at booking a good restaurant for us. Clean room was very well designed with good bathroom. Breakfast was good. Parked right outside - all very safe. Hotel in fantastic location right by lots of good restaurants, minutes from the port, where all the fishing boats come in. A short walk to the Cathedral and castle.

As soon as we set foot in this hotel we felt comfortable and welcomed. The staff members were exceptionally helpful and polite. This hotel was thoughtfully designed. They really paid attention to details and created a lovely hotel. They also offered a varied breakfast which highlighted the local recipes. We would definitely return there.
