Rural Gem

This is a beautiful property, the rooms are really lovely, there was tea and coffee available all day, the owner made us a great breakfast the next morning. We had a balcony with fantastic views of the countryside. Highly recommend this property

Looking place to sleep around this area - here it is!

I liked hotel - it has some personality with rooms and place that you could sit inside at evening - floors were wooden and it felt cozy. Staff was very friendly and it had two good restaurants just walking distance.

When moving around you can hear wooden floor makes some noise but soon you know where to step not making it anymore. Well - Its part of atmosphere there.

Excellently situated Posada on Camino del Norte route in Guemes. Large, comfortable bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms. warm friendly welcome on arrival. Amazing buffet breakfast in attractive dining room. Bar Luis 2 minutes walk away for food a good menu del dia.. Large comfortable lounge with sofas and tv.

No hot drinks available only cold drinks - water, beer.

Beautiful traditional guest house. Lovely clean bedroom and bathroom with excellent facilities in the room (heating, coffee machine etc). There’s also a lovely communal sitting room. The photos do not do it justice!

A very pleasant stay.

A nicely presented guesthouse in the quiet hamlet of guemes. The room was comfortable and breakfast was really good.

There was a bit of noise transfer between the rooms with people coming in at night at different times… always a problem if you try to go to bed early in Spain! Mainly creaking floorboards of the room above us, but also verbal noise from people coming up the stairs late.

Charming guest house, deserves more than its two stars. Huge selection of freshly baked treats for breakfast. Comfy beds in big rooms, with great views. Highly recommend.

A wonderful rural escape in Cantabria!

The staff are very amicable and thoughtful. The room had a lovely view over the countryside from the balcony, which was great for enjoying the evening thunderstorm and the sunrise. Breakfast was delicious too. Definitely would stay here again!

Camino stop

The place is just wonderful and in a great location. The hostess was fantastic. We happen to arrive very early but they were very nice. They even brought us a breakfast snack bag because we were leaving early the next morning. Restaurant is 30m away. Nice meals and a very friendly guy. We will be glad to stay here on our next trip.

Very rural and quiet.

Only one restaurant in tiny town. Nothing open for breakfast. A few flies in room due to being surrounded by cattle fields, NOT due to lack of cleanliness.
