Für Individualisten

Sehr schlichtes Zimmer, mit 2 Einzelbetten und einem Bad. An einem Fluss gelegen eine schöne Brücke (stillgelegt) über die man schön spazieren konnte.

Sehr hellhörig - wir hatten Nachbarn mit 2 Hunden und bei jeder unserer Bewegungen schlug einer der Hunde an. Werben mit Cafe, war an dem Tag als wir da waren geschlossen - so gabs auch nichts zu essen.... An einer Strasse sehr abgelegen. Die Betreiber besitzen wohl auch Huskies, das geheule und gebelle war eine ganze Zeit lang zu hören-Fütterung? Nachts aber Ruhe von Huskies.

Super friendly and helpfull staff, delicious dinner, perfect breakfast. Very helpfull owners when our car was totally frozen in - 28°C.

Just about everything you could want and so affordable.

Clean, comfortable and very affordable. The staff were really helpful too.

A TV would be good but no big deal as we had a laptop and VPN!

Normal place to take the rest for one night during long trip

Clean room Good location on route from/to Norway/Finland for rest.

Poor breakfast (there are no hot dishes; only hot tea/coffee). There is no hot water/boiler/kettle inside the room to make the tea/coffee in the evening.

Good summer pit-stop on the way North/South - friendly staff - nice dinner/food in the restaurant

Breakfast basic & fine - location convenient alongside E45/10: in the middle of nowhere, beautiful by the Kalix river (and a bit away from the road, so no noise from that). Room basic - very clean - WIFI fast

Great stay! The hosts are very friendly and the location is very beautiful. They were so kind to pick us up from the bus stop, as we didn't arrive by car. The food is homemade and they accomodated to us as one of us is vegetarian. There is 1 lunch dish and 1 evening dish. We also had the pleasure to enjoy their christmas buffet which was excellent. There is no shop around, so you might want to bring your own snack or so.

Nice location but not worth the price.

-Staff was very friendly and stayed up late to receive us. -We got 24 hr access to the sauna building with the kitchen where we could use refrigerator/microwave to heat food for our toddler. - The location was great. We swear to have heard some wolves/similar sounding animals at night. - The bathroom was very nicely decorated with lots of space and good lighting.

- The amenities in the room were very basic. We missed having a TV. - WiFi did NOT work at all in our room though it was working great at the restaurant. - The breakfast was very basic and many items didn't taste fresh.

Room with what a view

Amazing stay at the lodge, with a view on the lake. The restaurant is highly advisable - even if you aren’t staying there as a guest! The staff helped me book a trip to the unforgettable Abisko Aurora sky station, and from the hotel you can take an ease hike up the hill with a beautiful view over Abisko town and lake!

Wonderful place

Wonderful hotel in the Heart of laponia. Clean and comfy room with own bathroom, yummy breakfast and there is a sauna in the winter. There is a lot to do in the area around and the owner is super friendly. We‘d like to come by again!
