About this house rental
Our fabulous, mini-mansion is situated downtown amongst multi-million dollar homes, only a short walk to beautiful Naples Beach. The location could not be better. Your time on vacation is valuable, don't waste it in traffic or traveling to the beach, Fifth Ave, the Zoo, shopping, golf, or tennis, ALL less than two miles way! The home extends to over 4,000 square feet, including 3002 square feet of air-conditioned luxury, 4 bedrooms in total and can sleep up to 8 people. A beautiful home-away-from-home with your own private, tropical pool and spa paradise in the back garden! Situated in a quiet and safe neighborhood, the house is conveniently located within moments of of all of Naples.
The rear garden is an enclosed (full screened) lanai and is a tropical oasis containing the large, 28 feet by 15 feet pool and six-seat spa with privacy provided by a
wide variety of palms, ferns, and fruit trees. For more delicate complexions, there is a portico providing shade which boasts fans, dimmable lights (for those intimate al'fresco meals), comfortable seating and a large gas barbecue.
The home is newly furnished and professionally decorated to a very high standard including bamboo and Brazilian marble flooring. The kitchen has all the tools/toys to prepare anything from a quick snack to a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings! Eat on the lanai, at the morning room, which looks out onto the pool or the more formal Dinning Room. Dual air conditioning, adjustable interior and lanai ceiling fans, and Venetian blinds at the majority of the windows provide superb cooling. The home has Wifi. The pool and spa can be heated by their own electric heat pump, have full, 'state-of-the-art,' interior and exterior 'Handy Aqualink' controls and romantic underwater lighting. In the great room there is a large screen, High Definition (HD) Dish satellite TV with many channels of video and music and a DVD/CD player with a selection of movies for your enjoyment. There are a number of Florida wildlife and flora reference books and an ongoing library of novels.
While at the beach or dining on Fifth Ave keep your eyes open for celebrities. There are reported many celebrity homes in Naples, Florida's Bob Seagar owns two homes, one in Seagate and another luxury home on the beach. Larry Bird has had a home in Park Shore for many years. Robin Cook the writer also has a home in Park Shore, Judith Sheindlin more well known at Judge Judy lives in the Bay Colony area of Pelican Bay. She's been spotted at the nearby Waterside Shops. Jose Feliciano, who is famous for singing "I wish you a merry Christmas from the bottom of my heart" lives just north of Naples in Lehigh Acres. Actress Jayne Seymour, the star of Doctor Quinn Medicine Woman, Live and Let Die and many other television shows and films makes appearances in Naples typically related to displays of her artwork. Believe it or not, the world famous director Steven Spielberg, and Alex Lifeson the guitarist from Rush have homes in Naples. Neil Boortz the talk show host lives at The Dunes in Naples, Sean Hannity another conservative talk show host has a condo in Moraya Beach Tower, Matt Birk Super Bowl XLVII champion with the Baltimore Ravens has retired to Naples, football Coaches Mike Ditka and Don Shula also live here. What our party of 8 loved about Henry House:
Very inviting, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Easy walk to the beach. Close to shopping and restaurants. The high ceilings, the cool travertine floors and the large sets of glass sliding doors facing the pool made the house feel airy and light. Lots of different sitting areas to gather, eat and enjoy the company. The beds and sofas were comfortable. The pool area was a nice, fun and sunny focal point. The elegant formal sitting room and dining room did not get any use during our stay but was a nice ”wow”-factor each time we entered the house. The master bedroom was beautiful and had direct access to the pool area and was in its own wing of the house and very quiet. A second master with ensuite bath also faced the pool.
Minor things that didn’t bother us that much but could perhaps be an issue for others: 1) The kitchen cabinets and fridge were messy and not as clean as they should have been had they been thoroughly cleaned between guests. 2) The kitchen did not have enough pots and pans and the two frying pans that were there had deep scratches and patches of the non-stick surface completely worn off. 3) Many of the towels were frayed, washed out and worn thin. 4) The comforter on the queen-sized bed in the second master was also frayed and worn out. 5) The pool water was cold and the spa did not get warm enough for most of the family members to want to get in during the evening hours when it came on. The spa water was tepid only, not really warm enough to enjoy.
But none of these issues took away from the main impression: this is one of the nicest and most reasonably priced rentals our family has ever stayed in. We would love to come back and stay here if we go to Naples again!

This was our third time staying at Henry House. We are a family of 7 and it has just the right amount of bedrooms and bathrooms and Henry House’s proximity to the gulf shore beach can’t be beat at just 6 blocks away. It’s also very close to downtown as well as the 3rd Ave shops and restaurants. We always cook Thanksgiving dinner during our stay and the kitchen is well stocked with the pots and pans and dishware we need to prepare enough food for ourselves as well as our invited guests for the meal. The weather has always been so perfect for us to eat and visit on the lanai. The pool and hot tub are often used during our stay although the water hasn’t been as warm as it should be.
We love visiting Naples and staying at Henry House. If there is one complaint it would be that the house is not very clean. Joe, I think your house cleaners are doing you a disservice. The house looks “surface clean” but there is a lot of grime and thick dust that becomes very apparent during our stay. The house needs a heavy duty overall cleaning, including the furniture where there is thick dust on the bed rails, etc.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay here last week. Plenty of room to host cookouts and to have an overnight grandparent's visit. The kids swam in the pool everyday. The house is in great shape, close to the ocean and Olde Naples. It was a quiet area even given the proximity to the Naples hospital. We definitely would recommend it to friends. Thank you!

It is difficult to know where to begin. First, I had to book it twice because if the owner doesn't respond within 24 hours you lose your booking. I was not notified that he had not responded. So, for a week or more had no idea it was not booked. This is, after it went through on my credit card. It was taken off and I had to repay it but noone told me, I had to call after looking at the dates again and realized our dates were not taken.
When we arrived we were a bit surprised about the description of a mini-mansion. It was, for the most part, clean. The kitchen, refrigrator, and pantry, however, were not. There was food left in the refrigerator, gross things left open in pantry, there was not one good dish cloth or towel. And the bath towels are the cheapest we had ever experience, even if it was an inexpensive hotel. There were two broken coffee pots and one we finally found that worked that we had to scrub clean.
There had been a bad review before we arrived and I called Joe to be sure all was fixed; wifi, heated pool, and hot tub. He assurred me everything was in fine working order. Well guess what? None of these worked. And, two sliding glass doors were broken and maintenance did come to repair. Honestly, that should not be our job on vacation.
It took several phone calls (more like a job than a vacation with girlfriends) to have the pool fixed, hot tub, etc. Joe promised to return several calls in an hour, I always had to call back and follow up. Finally we said we felt we were owed something just for the fact of what time this took away from our girl's week. Never once did he address this issue of any compensation. I explained to Joe about marketing this as a mini mansion when it was far from the truth. I tried to make him understand we don't want to complain but he was the one who told us all was working and it was NOT. Just not a good experience. There is even more, but what is the point really.
I am frustrated as I write this to think of the time it took to get things just okay. We would never, ever rent this property.

We had a good time. The location is great, walking distance from the beach, neighborhood was peaceful. The property was comfortable for us, very especious. We had a few bumps during our stay, wiifii was not working, pool heater was not working either so water in the pool was very cold and uncomfortable to be in, the a/c in the master room was not working making the room hot, the ceiling fan saved us but is not the same.

Our family was fortunate to enjoy this beautiful home for a long weekend trip. The house was immaculate, with a very well-appointed kitchen and a great covered outdoor patio and pool. It is located in a very good location, close to the beach, fifth ave, and shopping. We especially enjoyed being able to bike or walk to the beach. This home is perfect for a large family vacation or just a couple looking for a fun weekend.

We stayed in this lovely home in May. It was vey clean and comfortable throughout. We loved the large open plan kitchen, pool and spa area and the great new outdoor grill. A quiet and private location which was very easy to relax in and is within walking distance of the beach.
We had a wonderful stay, and have recommended it to our friends and family.

The description is very accurate, the house was amazing, very spacious, in great neighborhood. Walking distance to beach, close to Downtown, mall, restaurants, and anything else in naples. The outdoor area was great big pool which was very clean, plenty of seats, and great gas grill. The whole family enjoyed the stay very much, all bedrooms have direct access to a bathroom. Family room and kitchen are very spacious. I would definitely recommend the house and I expect to stay again in the future.

When we arrived at The Henry House, we found a lovely christmas house! Joe and his family were there the week before, and decorated the home for christmas! So nice! We stayed at the house with six people, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen and lounge are very big and well equiped, so we baked christmas cookies and a nice meal. The foodmart, and mall was very near, so shopping was very easy. Also the Ft Myers airport was only 35 minutes away. Thank you Joe for the lovely stay in Naples!

My family (Mom, Dad 12yr girl and 15 yr boy) and I enjoyed the house very much, it had everything we needed and the location was excellent. House is attractively furnished, and we found it clean and neat. Naples is great for winding down as we spent 3 busy days in Orlando before coming to the beach. We could walk to the beach or drive, most days we did a short trip or outing (great zoo and very close) and then came back and hung out at the pool. Maid was very kind as she know we would be arriving late from Orlando left several lights on for us, with a note to call if we need any assistance with anything.
