The hotel is peaceful with really friendly staff. The hotel serves taste food with live music.
WiFi does not work and hot water supply is unstable. In the booking phase, we had severe difficulties to contact the hotel so it seems the hotel does not provide pre-holiday customer service.

Beautiful location and nice view in the morning at breakfast. Also possibility in the neighborhood to snorkle. We did an awesome island trip that you can book at the reception.
There were ants on the terrace and also some came inside. The cleaning staff did them away on the terrace, but they came back..
Also the cats made a lot of noise at night, it looked like they were fighting.
The food was okay but nothing special.

Staff was amazing, so friendly and nice. Place was calm and comfortable. Better with your own car. Best caipirinha ever!!
Some things have to be renewed. The filter in the swimming pool, pillows were quite old as well.

Wanted support locals, food and room 302 were okay. You get what you pay for.
Dogs in the village, dogs around the pool, dogs at the bar, dogs at restaurant terrace.
Some of them are quite big and aggressive. I was afraid. Unfortunately some tourists feed them straight from the buffet.
The hotel doesn't care at all. Im my eyes misleading hotel management.
Even if you are travelling with kids: not recommended!

We liked our stay in the Resort. It was a nice room with kitchen fully equipped, bathroom (shower, towels, shower gel) and small living room. There was also s TV and 2 bottles of water gratis. There is a small supermarket close to the hotel. The breakfast was very tasty, we could choose anything. The dinner had 4 courses. The swimming pool was nice and clean. The location is a little bit far from the beach of Santa Maria; but there is free transport every day there and back. It is a calm place. The staff was great, we could change from breakfast to halfboard and the last day we could stay there until our flight (midnight) for free and they arranged us a taxi to the airport
The first room where we stayed a stank from the outflow, but the second one was great and nice. I would also approciated better food for the dinner and maybe change the dessert sometimes, there was mainly a pudding every day.

The people are so friendly, free bus everyday to Santa Maria. I loved how quiet and relaxing this place is. There are the most wonderful dogs there, I was sad to leave them all behind. Definitely paradise Cabo Verde 🇨🇻

the village is very big and calm. It doesnt get over populated. There are 2 daily shuttle buses free of charge. For dinner there are 3 or 4 choices for your dish. The room sizes are nice and big!
There are a lot of stray dogs in the village and also a lot of barking. there arent any shops nearby so you need to ensure you have everything before you arrive. I think it should be better priced at quieter times. There is a kitchen but no utensils.

The staff were amazing. The cook patrick did an amazing job with the food as I am a food lover, I loved the food my entire stay. The servants were amazing katy and the other lady I didn't manage to get the name but they were all 5 stars. The experience was amazing. We all loved it. They made sure I was happy at reception and everything. I want to thank all for my experience with my family. My little daughter enjoyed.
The rooms had loads of ants near the bath and that bothered me a bit because they all were all on my clothes. I know that's not the hotels fault, as ants are everywhere. However needs cleaning under mattress in toilet. Apart from that everything was amazing. I have recommended.

The resort is in a secluded place on the. Island of Sal, not far from the airport and the capital, nor from other towns on the island, though. It was my first contact with Cape Verde and it was great! :) Everything is amazing for a relaxed vacation. Restaurant on the ocean shore, beautiful pool, great food, great room, great services. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there is also a shuttle to take you twice a day to Santa Maria, the nearest city, and if you kindly ask, they can also organize a taxi for you for wherever else you want to go. There was nothing more I could ask for! I wish I get back as soon as possible! :)
Nothing! :)

the only thing I like about this trip was how the staff were nice to me. The food at the restaurant but not the poor selection breakfast. Nothing else is worth mentioning
location is terrible you have to pay a €10 each time you want to go to Santa Maria or the other centre of interest. it’s a run down property that is in dire need of refurbishment. It is old, outdated and far from everything. They’ll probably lure you to book your stay with free breakfast but it’s definitely not worth it at all.

the employees were very friendly! especially Elisa Made the best cocktails in the world. also very helpful reception and in the restaurant the service was just perfect.
there are not many activities in the area. but the facilities on the park (restaurant, bar, pool, etc) are very good to spend time on.

a pretty pool area.
the sea was unsafe to swim in, the area was rocky and not close to the vibrancy of Santa Maria. the room was a long way back from the seafront and the pictures online do not show what it looks like as it looked as though the pictures were taken 15 years ago and no work has been done since.

If your looking for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle (chaos) of Santa Maria where you can truly breath this is the place for you. The pool was basically empty and very quite perfect for reading and sleeping. With also the option of sitting on the beach. the pictures are true to reality. Absolutely incredible, professional waitressing for the night time meal. For me a dog lover, I loved that the dogs were able to roam freely and were always happy to show you around the place.
More comfortable sun beds around the pool would be good.
Also, the morning coffee needed to be improved, A good coffee can start a day just right a bad coffee can ruin it

Awesome pool. But because of the wind full of waves, so some water braking lanes would have been cool in the pool.
Very nice stuff. Helping out a lot.
Nice breakfast.
Hotel lays at a nice beach in between the northern and southern villages of the island. So you get everywhere quick.
Hotel offers a free shuttle. But only twice a day.
Rooms are rather older, rooms in my building had no views, but still very clean rooms!
Towel change only every second day.

The best thing about this resort is the surrounding landscape. It is situated on the edge of the ocean, surrounded by rocky groves and crashing waves. The restaurant boasts the most exquisite ocean views, and has cosy cabanas to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sunset. I reccommend the Tequilla Sunrise. :D The pool was huge and pristine, cleaned multiple times a day and a generous length for a good swim workout. There is an additional shallow pool for kids, making this place ideal for families travelling together. The bar and restaurant staff are all so charming and friendly, and always go the extra mile. At times we even brought a takeaway box of food from outside locations, and they kindly heated up the food for us to eat back in our rooms. Eating at the restaurant is also cheaper than eating out in Santa Maria and they have a great a la carte menu as well as a rotating daily set menu.
We stayed in a large suite, which was SUPER comfortable and spacious. We had a small kitchenette with tea/coffee facilities and a mini fridge with two large bottles of water provided. There was a floor length mirror in the room and we had a huge sliding door fitted wardrobe with lots of drawers, rails, hangers, a trouser press and a safety deposit box. Perfect for the glamorous traveller!! The bathroom was enormous, with ample sink space, and a bathtub (which was so nice to have) and the water pressure was above average for the island! Our suite came with breakfast included which was a great added extra, and there was also daily housekeeping which was always done to an EXCELLENT standard. They even wash your dishes!!! Miguel, the manager of the resort, is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He is so genuine and helpful, and makes himself available at all hours of the day to help you with literally ANYTHING you need! We checked out very early morning, so Miguel arranged for the kitchen to prepare us a packed lunch of breakfast items to take onto the ferry with us. So SWEET!!
The resort is off the beaten path, as most resorts are, so if you are looking to enjoy the nightlife in Santa Maria, then be prepared to either spend a lot of money on taxi fare (10 Euros each way) or hope you can get one of those mini busses back. The resort does offer a free transfer so Santa Maria, but there are only two departures per day, either early morning or in the afternoon and the pick up is as 6:30pm, which means you cannot stay out for dinner or drinks. It would be great if they could add some additional (later) times to their shuttle schedule. I would also reccommend some meat options be added to the breakfast buffet. They seem to have all the usual classic breakfast foods, e.g. eggs, toast, fresh juice, cereal, pastries and jams, fresh fruit, tea/coffee but it would be nice if there were some sausages and bacon to have with the eggs, rather than just the ham and cheese provided for sandwiches. Some simple salads would also be a nice addition. Finally, a microwave seems like a useful thing to add to the kitchenettes in the suites. That way we wouldn't have to keep asking the kitchen to heat up food for us. :D

One of the best place I stayed. Far from touristic people. You can take free bus from hotel to Santa Maria or you can stay closer to nature without many people.
Very helpful people. Everything was clean and nice. Breakfast was amazing, everyday different.

The beds are terrible. the mattress is hard like stone. the pillows are terrible. the breakfast is very bad and minimal. don't drink the orange juice, its chemical waste. no mattresses at the sunbeds at the pool.
