Lovely apartments

Great facilities in the apartments and felt like home. It was also a good place to get a couple of apartments for a family gathering. Lovely to sit in the sun on decking overlooking the pool and the beautiful gardens. Good internal car parking garage. Very welcoming by the hosts. A quick stroll to the beautiful beach and short drive to the shops. Excellent place to stay.

Other members in the group said the beds and linen were uncomfortable.

the jacuzzi was nice, and the bedrooms were nice and large.

there was no indication that there would not even be basics like toilet paper or dish soap. for a property that charges so much and a place where there is just a tiny Minimart, expectations of the above being provided is high. I understand about bringing your own toiletries etc but not the above basics. especially when traveling with kids.

Wish it was a longer stay!

Comfortable, spacious, clean and a well stocked kitchen has made our stay very enjoyable. The location right across the road from the beach was magic!

An extra key fob would have been appreciated

Paradise in Pauanui

The spa was amazing and the facilities were great. Amazing staff, very helpful. Great stay. Enjoy ourselves a lot. Quiet resort.

I guess putting in google home on the old tv so u get Netflix will be a good idea as Sky had limited channels on. Otherwise nothing else i could fault

Wish I could have stayed longer to relax around the pool

Property manager was helpful and accommodating to my early checkin request. parking was secure and easy.

All appliances were great, apart from the iron, which I needed to tidy up my outfit before wedding I was going to. But the iron was inefficient. The iron dribbled water out continually. I thought I could empty out all the water I had just put in. But always thought an iron needed water and I didn't have any confidence by looking at the iron surface. Glad I tried it on the ironing board before putting it straight on my dress ;-)

Peaceful, quiet and scenic

This resort was absolutely beautiful..we loved the swimming pool and the relaxing environment.. great, peaceful place to stay away from the hassle and traffic of Auckland...the beach is gorgeous...alot of walkway only access to the beach. 250 metres from resort.

Couldn't fault anything, but if we had to it would be the coffee hot chocolate little complimentary packets were very old and a bit stale..we didnt bother getting replacements but I sure if we did, Louise would have been accommodating 👍

Pauanui Must Stay

Great set up of apartments with all the amenities required for a longer stay. Easy stroll to beach which is simply stunning. Host very welcoming and friendly, spent time at start of visit getting to know us and showed genuiene interest. Central location to the wider coromandel area for activities. Pool and spa on site, pool great depth for adults for a dip.

This is a very small thing it would of been great if breakfast bar chairs were in the apartment for socializing at bench during meal prep etc. This didn't effect our great stay though.

A most relaxing and enjoyable 3 night stay in wonderful apartment/

The size of the apartment and its fittings were amazing. Fantastic location, perfect for beach and local amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great place, really nice apartment. Lovely on-site managers. Everything you could want. We had an upstairs apartment and loved the indoor- outdoor flow to balcony, apartment looked gorgeous. Beds comfortable and bedding clean. Apartment kept clean and immaculate. Has washer/dryer. Made really good use of the pool which was well kept and gorgeous to swim in. Will definitely be back to this lovely resort.

You need to bring your own washing up liquid, and dishwasher powder (they provide one sachet of each to start and extras are $1 each) and bring extra toilet rolls if you’re staying and think you’ll go through more than a roll. We didn’t need extra over three nights and four people). Would have liked to have been aware of this before arrival. I can’t be bothered making special trips to get that stuff on holiday… so FYI. You get the usual milk on arrival and tea and coffee sachets. Only one key for the family, which meant we had to coordinate ourselves when we split up. You need the key to access property, pool and apartment building. We didn’t ask if there was an extra… so not sure if there is that option. WIFI at our apartment was poor. Only really bothered our teen. Had to sit in specific areas to achieve connection. So that’s it and these are really minor niggles. Did not detract from overall really positive experience.

The apartment was extremely comfortable and spacious with every facility you could wish for.

the accommodation was wonderful. The manager was very pleasant and welcomed us in a lovely way. She also helped us book a table for dinner as the local venues were fully booked. I highly recommend this property.

There was nothing to dislike.

Booking.com was not clear that I had to bring own toilet paper and toiletries, dishwashing liquid and dishwasher powder- these things are more expensive to buy in Pauanui- this information is on their ocean breeze website but booking.com doesn’t mention it
