Pleasant downstairs unit to spend a night in while on my road trip.

Clean and comfortable, very helpful staff. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. View of the mountain ranges. My unit was further back on the property so I didn't have road noise.

Fantastic - thanks.

Location was great. Spotlessly clean. Nice bathroom with great shower pressure. The earplugs next to the bed is genius. One of the best places we’ve stayed on our South Island trip.

The only thing that would have improved it is completely out of the control of Mondello so I’m not sure I should even note it - the mountain views are beautiful - it’s just a shame that the lot next door is such a shambles.

Awesome stay

Excellent place to stay. Quiet and modern. Perfectly clean and spacious. Would definitely stay again. Hosts were amazing!

Stunning views.

Beautiful views from the unit. Comfortable bed. Very welcoming when we arrived. Good location close to town and shops.

The television was hard to use, confusing which remote to use as there was no Sky but needed it to turn on the tv.. The second room and bathroom were very cold and there was not enough heating for them.

Super clean, comfortable room.

Super clean and fresh smell in the entire room. Spa bath works well and very relaxing needed for this cold winter. Barely heard any noises from neighbors or outside. Very quiet and comfortable.

Great place in a wonderful location.

Location was superb. Set back from the main road so quiet and in the morning had an amazing view of the mountains. Could park right in front of the door also.

Lovely host, very friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean and tidy and perfect for opur brief stay in Kaikoura.

Nice clean and modern. Handy to all amenities. Great spa bath. Free internet and units are serviced daily.

Excellent, good value

Technology was great, very reliable. There is multiple TVs with Netflix and Chromecast so we could cast anything from our phones. Good basic kitchen facilities. Very clean. Quiet, no street noise

Comfortable and clean

Comfortable, clean. We had the only room left which had a wet room shower, (it was a room with wheelchair facilities). But it was very nice. Fresh milk given on arrival

We had to be careful when running the shower as the water went everywhere, but they did provide extra towels. Also the parking was tight (especially as it was disabled friendly!) even though we did have a wider parking spot than rooms

Fabulous, would recommend

Fantastic room, super clean, convenient to town, had everything we needed. Our host was very helpful, dropped us back to the train station and helped us take our bags upstairs. Very friendly and could not have been more helpful.

Very clean, comfortable, spacious, and very easy walk into shops, cafes and restaurants . We will definitely be returning .

Disappointed in Kaikoura

Unfortunately we did not end up staying at this property as when we arrived, the room had a strong smell of smoke. We were assured it was burnt toast but even with the doors open the smell did not dissipate. As there were no other rooms available, we were offered a refund and were able to find alternative accommodation for the night.

Perfect place if you want quiet, comfort, and good service

The service was AMAZING!!! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and clean. Looked way better than the photos. The location was excellent!

The only (small) bad thing was there were no outlets close to the beds. That wasn’t a huge problem though because there were outlets in the kitchen.

Great location. Close to the Town centre. Comfortable bed and lovely spa bath.

The balcony was open and shared with other guests. Partitions between units would give some privacy.

Perfect accommodation for a weekend get away with the family

So close to the main town centre, but with gorgeous views of the ranges and fields. Very relaxing to wake up to that sight. The rooms themselves were spacious and facilities were great - air con worked super well, TVs were a good size and SKY channels provided welcome entertainment while we killed time between a wedding ceremony and reception. Everything was neat, tidy, and spacious.

The single beds were a bit small for us tall gals, but I’m sure they would be fine for the average NZer. The fridge was a bit loud at night which made it hard to get to sleep.

Worth staying several nights in Kaikoura.

Really helpful hosts who suggested we do the Dolphin Encounter that was amazing. Also gave good advice on restaurants, cafes etc.

No servicing daily due to Covid. You could collect new towels daily.

Great stay for exploring the towna and nearby areas

Great room, parking space per room. Spacious with a lovely view out the back. Very close to some nice restaurants. Suited our needs perfectly

Good until after we left

If we spent more time in the room, we would have liked the fact that the main room was relatively cosy - equipped with sofa, armchair, TV and air conditioning, along with a kitchenette. Decent for a motel.

After we left, we received a surcharge for allegedly breaking their policies during our stay. The case raised was absurd. Not sure if it was just a genuine mistake or an attempt to rip tourists off but the attitude was definitely way off.
