no working lamps in bedroom

Perfect location. Very central. Peaceful. Kitchen was very handy for quick meals. Great coffee.
Lighting in the room was not that great. WiFi was very intermittent a little disappointing especially in the evenings.

The location in the heart of the old town was superb.
The side of the double bed was up against the wall so it difficult to get in and out in the night without disturbing the partner.
3.5
The view on the canal was pretty
No real bathroom.

it was such a lovely place to stay, the loft was amazing!
the floor had some screws that stuck out, so at some points you stepped on one.

- It was lovely to meet Gary
- Lovely atmosphere
- Great location, right by the water, shops not too far away, lovely to walk around the neighborhood
- Spacious room for a couple of nights
- Mattress is soft, it sunk towards the heavier person so I slept a bit tilted
- No warm water at the sink (didn't try the shower)
- Communication was not always fast and clear with the owners before arrival (communication with Gary was easy and clear)
- Not recently furnished, had a nice but dusty and old feeling, I was glad I brought slippers

Room design was nice. Location and staff was great too. Room matched pictures on a website. Overall great value for the money as it is located in a beautiful part of the town with amazing view from the window. Great for short stays
Shower is right near the toilet which makes it inconvenient to use both. Bed is a little weird: it is located long side to the wall so there is nothing behind you when you are laying down and pillows might fall down while you sleep. Room is not suitable for long stays

the location verry nice place
There was a light going on- off all the night an that was not nice, we can't sleep
3.0
Really nice room the bed was comfortable
There were two live spiders and a dead one in the the shower. The wifi wasn’t working much which sucked. Nu room was on the ground floor and there was a lot of noise coming through.

Great location, unusual, kind of Parisienne feeling, great gardenbeautiful old haiuse
Window in the room could not be opened, only door to the ( very nice) garden, which made us feel a bit on edge
2.5
Nice location
The size of the bed , and the fact that there was no extra bed availablle

the old style, the location, the garden
nothing

The location was unbeatable, central yet quiet, overlooking a quaint, manually-operated bridge over the canal.
The room was huge, with lovely decor, a large wardrobe, a pedestal fan, a decent-sized dining table.
The staff member in attendance was helpful.
The kitchen facilities, even including the fridge and coffeemaker, were communal and on a lower storey.
The bed was very short--certainly for Europe's tallest people!--and the mattress uncomfortable (it did have electrical raising-and-lowering devices but they were of no importance to us).
The toilet was peculiarly inefficient. The washbasin was on a short pedestal--perhaps good for children but not for an aging bloke with a bad back. The shower diverter did not work properly.
A degree in electrical engineering would have helped in determining where to plug things (like phone chargers) in and how to ensure they actually got power.
In a heatwave (not the proprietors' fault, of course), only one window opened and that one, only a short distance.

location is very perfectly
Mr. Gary was a really nice guy. The lack of a baby cot in the facility was a big shortcoming. The bathroom of the room I stayed in was really bad. It had no door and was a sloppy decoration. On the other hand, there were too many items in the room and it did not give a feeling of spaciousness.
but the location and courtyard was magnificent.

I stayed in the studio apartment and it was brilliant. Unbelievable clean, comfortable, amazing location and quirky enough to be great! A vintage location in the city centre on the canal
Gary was really polite and professional
I will be back
I loved everything

Good location and nice garden.
Well-equipped kitchen for use.
No door or at least curtains to the bathroom.

Gorgeous city! Accommodation on canal. Great location. Comfortable electric bed.
Minimal city info given upon arrival. Few offerings for sightseeing; majority in Dutch. Winding staircase. Unpleasant long-term guest didn't have the courtesy to return our "good morning".
2.5
Lovely location on a quiet canal.
Rooms and facilities were very basic, but also had an eccentric charm, part of the building is a vintage shop.
3.5
Unusual place in a lovely position. Architecure and design of room attractive if you are not looking for a standard room in a standard building

Good price. Nice deco.
Cold, Heating system is insufficient. No TV

Garry was nice
This place is very expressive for what you get (€50 would be more appropriate), no door to the bathroom was particularly bad. Photos on site are incredibly misleading.
