A very unique split level room with pool in master bedroom. A few steps from all the action of Thira.
Repetitive breakfast options.

good view
tiny. hardly anywhere to put clothes. photos on site are deceiving - yes you overlook the caldera but what is doesn’t show is you overlook a restaurant. can’t sit out on balcony as everyone from restaurant looking at you. walkway in front of property so constant stream of tourists outside taking photos. there was also a toilet window from restaurant next next door so while sitting on upstairs balcony you could hear people in the toilet

The location, right on the edge of the caldera with amazing views. Amazing shops, bars and restaurants around. The villa was extremely spacious and beautiful.

We spent 11 nights at Callia Caves, and loved it! The Host Matthia was there all the way from
check in to everything we needed, nothing was any trouble! The location is perfect, and the views are amazing! The breakfast was delivered at exactly the time ordered every morning and was delicious and plentiful!
A dresser to put our clothes there wasn’t really space to hang them!!

it was absolutely beautiful. right on the caldera, the views and facilities were outstanding. the staff were very helpful and we communicated by phone since they are at the other facility. our place was 2 floors, 2 patios, our own spa , gigantic first floor and lovely upstairs room and second bathroom. you order your breakfast the day before and it is delivered to your room. it is extremely plentiful and delicious.

The view!! Especially from the top balcony. The hot tub was lovely. Our welcome was really great and so was the help with anything we needed during our stay.
The property is big and styled really nicely. The showers were also great.
Because the hot tub is inside the property gets really hot and wet which can't really be helped but just something to keep in mind when choosing to stay.
The breakfast was a bit of a let down. There was a lot of choice and too much to eat but I wouldn't describe the quality as luxury

Fantastic location, very spacious, extremely helpful staff.
The restaurant in front was a bit noisy when sleeping in the upstairs room.

Staying at Callia at the Dream Cave Suite was absolutely amazing. I saw the photos and it still exceeded my expectations.
Things I loved:
- Host - Christos was very accomodating. He arranged a pickup from the airport for us, and went through everything upon our arrival. He asked us to order breakfast, and for each subsequent day I just needed to request breakfast via whatsapp. Our port drop off was also arranged separately. Although we didn't request too much other than breakfast, I always felt that he was available if we needed.
- Breakfast - amazing. Lots of options re eggs, bread, veggies, fruit. Breakfast was brought to the suite each morning so that it could be enjoyed on the terrace. Absolutely perfect.
- Location - again, perfect. The view from the upstairs bedroom was amazing. It is behind a restaurant as other reviewers noted, but I didn't find it annoying at all. In fact, because it was in a back street I found it very quiet. Despite being in a little back street, it was still right around the corner from the main walking areas of Fira. Everything was nearby. The bus stop was less than 10 minutes, the cable car to the old port less than 5 minutes walk. You could faintly hear the sounds of the nightclubs in the early morning but easy to manage with earplugs.
- Suite - the Dream Cave suite is a two bedroom suite with a direct view of the caldera from the smaller second bedroom. The main bedroom has a very large spa pool inside. Each bedroom has their own shower and toilet. The place is absolutely enormous, including a living room, dining room, kitchen and terrace.
In short - I absolutely loved this place. I would stay here again for sure, and I would recommend it for up to 4 adults easily.
Honestly, nothing. This location was the highlight of our holiday to Europe. Maybe the noise of the clubs from the main bedroom as I mentioned, but honestly it wasn't that big a deal. Just make the booking, you won't regret it.

We felt so welcomed upon arrival. We arrived at 7am so our room wasn’t ready yet but they held our luggage and welcomed us to breakfast. The first meal in Greece I had and I was so impressed. Out if the two weeks I hopped all over Greece, by far was the best breakfast I had.
If you have the opportunity, eat at Rastoni Restaurant right across from the hotel. Incredible food and service

Amazing apartment right in the centre of Fira with a great view of the sunset. Lovely breakfast delivered to your balcony each morning. The outdoor hottub is a really good size and cleaned each morning.
It didn’t bother us but it is loud on a night due to the central location. There is also a restaurant in front of the balcony which gets busy during sunset so not that private at this time but during the day it is fine.

We love our exceptional host Christos who made us feel at home. Very informative who answered all our questions and assisted us every step of the way.
Our super cleaning lady Marina who did such a great job cleaning our suites. Breakfast was plenty.
Location is right at the heart of Fira centrally located with a breathtaking view. Also even though we were in the main center it’s still quiet and peaceful.

House and service is excellent
Restaurant right in front of room/outdoor jacuzzi compromised privacy a bit

Throughout our stay our host Christos was attentive throughout and helped to organise: transport to and from the hotel; ATV hire and helped my wife surprise me with gifts and celebrations within our room.
The location of the property is ideal for travellers who want to be in a great location within Fira as it is close to the popular bars and restaurant.
One of the most impressive part of the property is the view, it is amazing all day around and you have a clear view of the caldera.
No major issues. I would probably say during the peak season, foot traffic would likely be high in front of the property. We went during late OCT which is usually quieter so it wasn't much of an issue.

The apartment is in a superb location on the edge of the caldera with fantastic views and a great place to see the famous sunsets. Very good location for the Fira shops, restaurants, museums and cable car. Apartment was large, comfortable, and well equipped. The indoor pool is great. A generous and tasty breakfast was delivered every morning. Christos was very helpful with tips for local attractions and had we needed it would have organised airport shuttle etc.
Not so much a problem as a feature of Santorini - this would be an awkward place to visit for anyone with mobility problems given the numbers of steps and climbs.

We had a great time at Callia Caves! Great location! The room was big and clean. We had a coffee machine in the room and fresh towels every day. Breakfast was brought to us in the morning at the time we requested. There was a great view from our room and terrace. We also had a hot tub on the terrace. In front of the room, there is a restaurant and at sunset, it can get a little crowded, so it's not that intimate to use the hot tub. But besides that, the room is off the beaten path and you can enjoy the view without worries. Check-in is done at another location, but the host made sure we had all the information needed before we arrived. After check-in, we had someone drive us to our room and helped us with the bags. Thank you for everything, Christos!

The location was great with fantastic views. All shops, bars and restaurants a few minutes away but was not really noisy at nite. Margarita was a fantastic host and always responded within a few minutes when contacted via Whatsapp. She also threw in a free breakfast!
The villa overlooked the rastoni restaurant so using the jacuzzi at nite was not possible as not that private. But during the day it was great, as it was not a walkthrough area for tourists.
Balcony was a bit small,

We loved the convenient location and the beautiful views. Margarita was great to communicate with before and during our trip. Anything we needed, she was quick to respond. The daily cleaning was wonderful and very thorough. They delivered made to order breakfast daily at our desired time, and it was more than enough food and very good. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations for our first trip to Greece!

this stay here was superb, we tested the two rooms. both are exceptional with their jacuzzi, but the large suite is just huge, with a jacuzzi in the bedroom. Beds are so comfortable. We are in the center, so everything is nearby. Margarita, the host is very attentive and there for any questions. I really recommend this exceptional place.

Location was perfect with great views of the sunset.
Super spacious and nice terrace and balcony.
Lovely breakfast delivered every morning.
Very clean. All the right facilities needed.
Upstairs bedroom has wonderful view to wake up too.
Margarita was an exceptional host. Really special service. Perfect recommendations and she booked many reservations. Nothing was too much trouble and she made everything easy so we could enjoy.
We had the best of times and she enabled that for us. She is a credit to the hotel.
It’s a luxury to have a hot tub in the bedroom. But it can get noisy and you do feel like you are sleeping in a swimming pool. Just a watch out for bedtime. Still we enjoyed many a dip in it.

We stayed in Callia caves for 1 week to visit Santorini and the islands nearby. We arrived Sunday evening see the hotel organized a taxi for us to pick us from the hotel to our apartment passing by the hotel main facility where we received a warm welcome and a set of informations regarding renting cars, activities and accommodation.
We arrived to the apartment (Callia Caves) in Fira center near to the restaurants, bars and shops. The place is very well located, clean and charm. Hotels personnel were in touch with us by what’s up and respond quickly and nicely to all our requests during our stay. Breakfast was delivered as requested on time, and the personnel made sure to adapt breakfast to our taste and Santorini charm.
Cleaning was on daily basis. WiFi was available , however during our stay the connection could be very slow sometimes.
Jacuzzi with a sunset view, breakfast with amazing view are unforgettable.
The old port is very close (13mn ) stairs and cable car is 3mn walking distance.
Christos offered us a goodbye gift and allowed us to stay in the main facility next to the swimming pool for all the day as our departure flight was late in the evening. Also, he organized our taxi to the airport, ordered our lunch and invited us for a coffee afterwards.
I recommend this hotel and note that we came at low season and still enjoyed our stay everyday! Low tourist trafic and Corona didn’t stop us to enjoy our trip. Thank you Christos for this nice accommodation and hope to see you soon!

Breakfast was cold, brought in packages from another facility. White toasts, law quality turkey meat. However fruits were ok.
In fact, the apartment has only one bedroom. There is additional bad in a room with jacuzzi without a window. It is very difficult to sleep there due to humidity.

The Callia Caves are located right in the heart of the pedestrianised area of Fira with stunning views of the sea & the sunset. They still manage to be quiet though, as they are down a little alley with no through access. You check in at Callia retreats, which is a 10 minute stroll down the hill & are then transferred up close to the Caves. Our cave had it’s own jacuzzi and a terrace, but there is no outdoor pool area. Christos and Panos very kindly offered us the use of the adults only pool area at Callia Retreats, which we used for a few hours on the days we didn’t visit a beach. Breakfast is ordered at check in and delivered to your cave at a pre arranged time each morning. Nick (was heir resident taxi driver), was available to drive us over to Oia and back one evening and down to Vylcheda beach one day. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The property would benefit from a full height mirror. A good spot would be to the right of the entrance to the bedroom on the main floor.
