An exceptional stay in elegant surroundings

Every part of this hotel is exceptional and beautiful. The staff are charming and helpful. The hotel is fully renovated in art deco elegance. The room was huge with a full length balcony, enormous bathroom, beautiful toiletries and a wonderful bed. If you visit Hondarribia you must stay here - it is 7 star

Sejour tres agreable avec un personnel adorable. Seul regret, plus de restaurant dans l'hotel.

Tres jolie villa, des chambres tres confortables et tres bien decorees. Un accueil tres chaleureux.

Como estar en las nubes a cuerpo de reinas

El hotel está decorado con un gusto exquisito y la habitación es impresionante. Cama y almohadas súper cómodas y el baño de ensueño. Súper silencioso y agradable. El desayuno exquisito y variado. El servicio súper profesional y todas las trabajadoras educadisimas y agradables. Excelente ubicación a escasos minutos del centro monumental, turístico y del puerto. Para repetir!

Excellent stay and excellent service by front desk staff.

Location, our room was two super spacious bedrooms. The hotel was very clean, and bright.

El personal excelente. Pudimos dejar el coche aparcado en una plaza del hotel sin coste adicional. La habitación y el hotel de categoría, luminoso, espacioso y camas grandes y cómodas.

El desayuno venía incluido en el precio, pero para tomar por ejemplo dos huevos fritos, había que pagar 6 euros adicionales, y en mi opinión, es algo que no va de acuerdo con el hotel y el precio convenido. No es por el precio, sino por el detalle. Además se habría agradecido un poco más de variedad o buffet.

Maravilloso hotel, maravillosa estancia. Para repetir, un fin de semana de lujo.

Suite maravillosa, decoración cálida, sensación de sentirse como en casa. Las camas son increíblemente cómodas. El desayuno excepcional. También hicimos uso del spa y y la experiencia fue muy buena. El personal es de 10, todo amabilidad y buen hacer.

A wonderful small boutique hotel in a quiet seaside town!

We really enjoyed Hondarribia after the crowds in Donostia, and we really loved this hotel. Whoever designed it had a very quirky but comfortable approach. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us. The served breakfasts were included in the price, had to be ordered the night before and were cooked to order. Large glasses of fresh OJ every morning, five kinds of breads and pastries, eggs, cheeses, meats and seconds on the made-to-order cafe con leche (pretty much unheard of overseas) all added to the great experience here. Oh, and parking, which is 15 Euros/night, is in a small outdoor lot adjacent to the hotel building. Very convenient.

Excellence served with a smile.

From the moment we entered and til the moment we said good bye, we were so perfectly looked after. The staff are absolutely the most welcoming and helpful I've come across. We will defiantly come back to Villa Magalean and their perfect hospitality and service.

i have visited more than 100 hotels during the previous 30 years, but i must say this hotel is one of the very best i have ever experienced. the hotel itself but also the staff is absolutely brilliant. for me the perfect hotel

fantastic service! The personell wentbput of their way to make our stay as Good as possible. the original room we har bookes was realt Nice, and then we got an upgrade to an excellent suite. certainly a go to place in Hondaribia.

Best place to stay in Hondarribia!

Clean spacious rooms with all feather bedding and immaculate style, friendly service and amazing homemade breakfast! Best hotel of our trip!

Water on the floor from the way shower door opened, but that’s a very tiny design floor and hotel staff cleaned our bathroom while we were out at dinner even!
