Best host ever! Helped us with so many things including booking bus tickets to Istanbul (harder than you might think if you don’t have a Turkish credit card), and a late night Edirne liver tasting at his downstairs pub!

It is q small hotel in a renovated old Ottoman style mansion full of wood, old furniture, and charm. There's a small courtyard where one can relax and have a beer. It is very near the renovated synagogue and about 10 minutes walk from Selimiye mosque. The location is perfect. It is also very near the market and commercial walking street. The staff are lovely and professional. The rooms are comfortable and charming.
The bathroom was tight, but since it is a renovated Ottoman mansion, there's not much they could do about it.

Personally, for me, the hotel is very nice. Restored old house, with themed furniture, as seen in the pictures. It is well maintained. It is not far from the center. You can easily walk there and back. Parking is provided in front of the hotel. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are bigger than my expectations.
As a side note - not all of the staff understand English, but we got by without a problem. In one of our rooms, the hot water had to wait 1-2 minutes to come, but then it's fine.
In my opinion, the hotel is a bit dark, but it gives an authentic atmosphere.

I liked everything from cleanliness to staff everything was just perfect

The location is very close to the city center. The building is incredibly beautiful, renovated from an old house into a lovely small hotel, maintaining all the old objects/art objects and the otoman style. It looks like a cosy museum that I loved staying in.
The sound insulation, but the cause is the eood inside the building. Also, the light in the room was poor and I must mention the lack of bedside tables.

very cosy and nice, has the spirit of authenticity.
i possibly failed to discover how to get hot water to work.

Beautiful old building with many details.
Great staff and a massive breakfast.

The breakfast was good and had quite variety. I would recommend to change the variety with a little bit more quality and it will become great
I think It was a little bit more expensive than it should be. There was no Parking. The parking is the street and in front of the hotel there are cameras to watch the cars. But the parking spots which were covered by the cameras were taken so our car was parked outside the camera's visibility. Nobody spoke to us in Bulgarian and the people we met in the hotel didn't speak Bulgarian - something which was highly announced. I expected a little bit more attitude from the people.

The location is very good. The host is friendly and helpful. The house is really old Turkish home, small rooms, quite dark, but the bedsheets and towels were perfectly clean. The bed is very comfortable. They fix for us a baby crib with very nice bedsheets and duvet. The breakfast was perfect, tipical Turkish, very well served, overall good
I didn't like the bathroom .There are also old type stairs, which were difficult for me and if I knew about these ,I would avoid this property

Central location, interesting guest house's interior, friendly staff.
No cleaning if you don't ask for it, no kettle (but you can get a thermos) and on the second day of our stay awful sewer odor from the bathroom appears.

Very friendly and helpful Personal nice feelings in old house to stay

Great location, less than 5 minutes to the centre and close to many cafes and restaurants.
The building is historic and stunning inside, you get a real taste for what it must have been like during the Ottoman period. The outdoor partio is lovely, and buying a bottle of wine from the hotel (it was called Edirne and was recommended by the owner-it is an excellent red wine and we both recommened it) it was so nice drinking it out on the patio in the evening.
The owner is very friendly and welcoming, a fascinating man you can have a great talk with and learn a lot, he has many stories to tell.
It was very quiet at night and the bed was comfortable, the room was nicely decorated, and the interior of the hotel was also nicely decorated. The breakfast room was very nicely decorated with many treasures the owner purchashed through his travels, with each piece telling a story.
The only thing was the breakfast, there could have been more variety such as a few more fruit, vegetables, few more cheeses etc, and I hardly give reviews over breakfast, so...

It was our 2nd stay in this hotel. We booked it because of good reviews and we didn't regret. It was clean with really comfortable beds. The building is awesome, staff friendly and the breakfast really good. It is located just a street away from the center and the parking in front of it is under video surveillance (great for bikers). For sure I will pick again the same hotel when I will be passing through Edirne

Restored Ottoman house. Very authentic. Best nights sleep as so quiet and room drapes blocked all light. In centre so close to everything.
