The house is not nice at all
The house is not pleasing at all , I’ll rate it a 1/10 ! There is a place in the kitchen where they just threw all the dishes in , the other fridge smells , pots look old , there’s a room when you walk in that has I suppose the owners items that have been squeezed in there , the house outside looks very old , garage looks scary , the house is almost empty doesn’t feel like a home , lights in some rooms don’t work , I can go on and on …

Didn't fully understand how the house was handling load shedding through the inverter system so some things had power and others didn't.

The stay and weather was good, the bad things was interruption of electricity.
Room space and view of location.
No security system and doors not locked properly. No daily housekeeping.No elevator.No light blocking curtains.Daily power outage (common problem in Cape Town)

Perfect for group stay in Cape Town ⭐️
Beautiful house in a fantastic location. Kitchen stocked with a myriad of appliances, plus a gas BBQ. Pool was a dream on warm days. Great communication from hosts and friendly cleaning/maintenance teams. Kindly accommodated a late checkout which was very much appreciated.
Only having two sets of keys amongst a large group was tricky, particularly when adding load shedding to the mix which cut off front gate electrics. Some TLC required (e.g. two air conditioners faulty, general wear and tear) which, once resolved, will see full potential of property realised.

The view & location. Rooms and open space and house in general.
The unorganized reception. Cleaning of house was only completed at 3:30, even though official book-in time was 14:00

Dissapointed
We arrived and were greeted with zero info about the house. We had to send additional message to request the wifi password. On Friday evening we requested help on the gas fireplace and were told there was no gas and it is hence not working. We had to connect the gas braai’s gas bottle to the fireplace for use o er the weekend as it was very cold and raining. The entire downstairs area did not have any electricity two bedrooms upstairs had issues with it’s wall plugs. The fire pit outside was dirty and full of bones from a previous stay/use. Not entirely what was advertised and what we expected.
