It was warm, clean, comfortable and secure. Large, airy and light living space. Beautiful location for walking or for a remote, self-contained, weekend away. The king size beds and 2 sofas were comfortable. Having 2 en-suites and a 3rd toilet was a bonus. It has a dishwasher (tablets included) and washing machine (no powder). Fairly well equipped kitchen - we cooked a roast dinner and, apart from our own roasting tin, everything we needed was provided. Loads of kitchen cupboard space for our own food. Over all, the apartment was clean and comfortable, but not luxurious, so was priced correctly.
It is a water mill and the gushing water is loud and constant - especially in the master bedroom, as the window does not close entirely. It didn’t bother the other 2 guests and I got used to it by the 2nd night. Go prepared with all your own condiments, beverages and food, Showergel, shampoo and kitchen cleaning spray. No blackout curtains/blinds.

Very spacious, beautifully appointed and great location.

Lovely spacious apartment, very warm, clean and well equipped, with a short cut direct to the Monsal Trail two minutes away. It would be ideal for two couples as two beautiful comfortable bedrooms each with an en suite. A particularly nice reading nook with lovely river views.
Slightly remote, 25 mins walk to the local pub, which didn’t bother us as we were on a walking break. You could hear the gushing of the river wye all the time which we found delightful, but light sleepers might want to bring ear plugs

Self catering.
Location was further out than anticipated
Bedroom window ill fitting would not close properly and missing handle on one side, could be draughty in cold weather and water gushing underneath apartment made it noisy at night.
Better explanation of door code use could have been better.

Location and the great apartment. So many walks to do without moving the car. 😀
The very heavy duvets (13.5 tog!).

The apartment, very light and airy, very comfy beds.

Lovely location next to the river, quiet and very scenic.
Nothing!

A large frying pan or casserole dish you could put on the hob and in the oven would have been useful. There was a lid that looked as though it would have fitted something like this but no container to put it on.
Some large mugs as well as the small ones provided.
It would have been great to have salt and pepper provided and a few tea bags.

Being by the water. Nice and peaceful. Lovely walks straight from the doorway. Good WiFi Good TV. High ceilings, spacious and good heating.
No heated towel rail in the bathroom, showers were multi spray-massage type but also had standard spray heads which were usable.

Fantastic property and lovely for a quiet getaway.
We were travelling for work and absolutely loved this apartment- will definitely visit again.
Richard (the host) was super helpful when we had trouble getting in with the keypad.
The apartment is big, comfortable beds and good wifi.

Location quiet so spacious warm good parking
Muddy outside when wet

Lovely large property in a beautiful unique location. Whole family felt very comfortable
Only minor things eg grill took a while to heat, wine glasses weren’t great and hoover could be upgraded.

Comfy beds. Generally very clean and most cooking implements we needed were provided. All kitchen appliances we used worked well. Parking was easy outside. Wifi was very good (but there is an old wifi code on a laminate inside which confused us initially). Ensuite's both had baths with a good shower above and were very clean. Beautiful sound of running water from the river and good walking nearby. We loved the little nook off the living room. We had a lovely peaceful stay.
Generally the accomodation was spotless. However, the grill tray and ovendoor needed a bit of a deep clean as they were sticky to the touch with thick grease from previous visitors, so we avoided using them (though the grill tray and base of oven had been lined with fresh foil by the cleaner) . A few large milky-looking food type stains on sofa throw cushions. Some bigger mugs would be nice. No phone signal on O2 or Vodafone (which can also be a positive if you don't want to be disturbed!).

Location for elderly walkers is difficult to improve, and an excellent pub was a 35 minute level walk away.
Copious hot water and excellent heating. Spacious and comfortable kitchen/ diner/ sitting area. Excellent TV and DVD.
Our second visit. Some minor niggles which are worth bringing to host's attention. Note that the apartment is for four people, we are two people.
Apartment needs " a woman's touch and scrutiny". Examples: less clean than last year; backs of doors dusty; mould in bath surrounds, only 2 fizz glasses, mugs grimly old and stained, one cracked; bed on the small side and duvet very heavy such that we woke each night too hot. The key lock box is not as advised ..... photo is out of date.

Spacious, comfy, smart, warm and generally well equipped apartment.
Walks from the door.
Issues with towels/wooden spoons mentioned in previous reviews had been addressed.
A few issues, easily rectified:
- No baking trays in the kitchen (we were cooking xmas dinner and bought our own as back up)
-Slats missing on fold out bed meant there was a gap in the middle
-Couldn't get the hoover attachment to fit the hose
-We found the key to the external door really tricky (you need to persevere to get the knack)

Lovely spacious and clean flat.
Nothing really

Great location, lovely and clean and flat much larger than in pictures
Could have had some more glasses and plates
4.5
great location well equipped peaceful good for walking and cycling. big spacious flat with good view of river and ability to sit in alcove window and watch Dipper feeding young. Utility room good.
Small issue of no wooden spoon to use on pots, but that is trivial every thing else was great.
4.5
Very spacious apartment, the view is great. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again.
4.5
Spacious property in an amazing location. Loved the living/dining room. The utility room was a nice bonus as was the little alcove off the living area, great to sit and watch the river and nature.
Unfortunately some of the springs in the mattress in the smaller double room have gone and the dark brown towels were small, rough and too well used so they should be replaced.

Location for walking Monsall Trail could not be bettered. We walked every day.
I will divide the answer into two parts: complaints, and feedback.
Complaints
The joining instructions were poor, instructions for lockbox misleading, the box was supposed to be one of three such and marked "R". There were five boxes, none marked R. There were four keys, none marked for front door, and none marked for inner door, and two which had no apparent use.
Secondly, the towels provided were small and threadbare. Fortunately we were two people in a four-person apartment, so made do.
Feedback.
No table mats or coasters were provided which seems a great shame: we are accustomed to protecting wooden surfaces.
Only four dishwasher tablets were provided. To eke them out we halved them.
Although outside the control of the owner, the rubbish disposal at the Mill is woefully inadequate: all bins were full on day two, and not emptied until day six. Thus we had to retain rubbish and recycling in the apartment.
Most self catering places where we have stayed have a small welcoming pack: tea, coffee, sugar, milk, perhaps a little fruit.
