Horrible, stay away!!!

Extremely expensive transfers which are organised by the property (there’s no other option, so you have no choice), it is really far away from everything, during our stay there was no electricity during one full day (no generator as well) and on the next day there was no water at all. Food was really average and the options are extremely limited. The place was in general dirty and it needs a proper clean-up. The bathrooms door doesn’t close, the water in swimming pool is dirty and covered with mold. The most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever seen. The host was really rude and as we didn’t feel safe staying there we decided to leave after 3 nights (booked 4 nights) as we didn’t want to waste our holiday at this horrible place… I still don’t understand the idea and concept of this place… waste of time

Vielen dank für das freundliche willkommenheissen. Das Personal ist eine kleine Familie die super liebevoll ist.

Es lag mitten in der Natur. Sehr ruhig, viel Zeit um zu erholen. Es gibt einen kleinen Hikeing Weg, bei dem kann man den Sonnenuntergang unglaublich schön geniessen.

Schon eher abgelegen, aber das Personal war äusserst freundlich und hat Taxidienst angeboten! Auch mitten in der Nacht. In 10 minuten ist mann in der City

Un luogo fantastico!!!

Un luogo straordinario!!!! La location è fantastica in mezzo al verde. I bungalow ben organizzati e con bagno in stanza comodo e spazioso. La colazione direi divina. Assolutamente da provare I banana pancake (i migliori che ho provato nelle Filippine) Il personale è super gentile e super disponibile. In pratica se vi trovate da quelle parti non perdete l’occasione di trascorrere un paio di notti in questo luogo perché veramente merita.

One of our most memorable stays in 2 weeks in the Philippines. A perfect way to get back to nature, get a more local exp

Really enjoyed a short break at Mount Avangan, if you want to escape the tourists of Coron for a few days this is definitely the place, also it was nice to have a pool to jump into. The walk to the viewpoint is easy and provides stunning views. Evan and Leanne were exceptional hosts who personally helped us with food, transfers and tours. The food in particular was great, home cooked and very reasonably priced, we ate there both nights and ordered the same thing.

The road is a little challenging if you’re not very comfortable on a scooter, however any transport arranged by the property was all fine and reasonably priced.

Relaxing and scenic!

Beautiful location, outside of town. Perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of town. The road to get to the property is quite rough, but the hosts will shuttle you to and from town for a fee of 200 pesos/person. We ate all our meals here and they were delicious, they have a menu to order from. We enjoyed the free breakfast. The pool is huge and beautiful, we enjoyed cooling off in it throughout the day. We stayed in the A-frame tent, no A/C but we were cool enough with the fan they provide, there’s also a bug net they provide. They do have cabins with A/C though! They have a trail that you can hike to see the sunset! It was so beautiful! Definitely need more something than flip flops to do the hike! The family is so kind and helpful! They made us breakfast to-go at 5:30am when we had to catch our ferry early!

The location may be a downside for some as it is quite isolated, however this was a perk for us as we wanted a quiet place to relax! If you’re confident on a scooter you could navigate the road yourself, however if not just ask the hosts for a ride!

Absolutely beautiful and relaxing stay.

Beautiful natural surroundings. Easy to hike from for sunrise or sunset. Pool is also very nice. Just an absolute breath of fresh air to stay here. The staff is also very lovely and accommodated all our needs at any time of the day. If you’re in Coron you definitely have to stay for minimum 2 nights

Disappointing

Calm and very quiet. Nice nature around.

The arrival road was a disaster. We went there with our motorbike and it was really scary. Very slippery and in a bad condition. No signs where to go and we had to ask for directions multiple times. The staff was decent but we didn't get much care. We felt tolerated, not welcomed. We stayed in the tent and it started leaking the second night. To be fair they moved us to the room with a roof for free but still not an amazing experience. To walk around you are supposed to have a guide.

Heaven through Hell

Staff was helpful and pleasant. Place was picturesque and unexpectedly huge pool.

Room facilities were poor. We booked the "double room with pool view" but what was given was poor than what the photos show on booking.com nor what the description says. They say Free toiletries but you will get nothing. I was charged for one soap we got from them. You get no toiletries at all. There was no toilet seat on the WC. No hairdryer. Below are just for information not really complains... - Access road to the property is off road... No normal cab will site the place and they will charge you for transport to & from main road to their own property. - No smart phone connection and wifi (Wifi you can pay and use in the restaurant area) - If you want luxury this is not your place (but very environmental friendly atmosphere) - You need to take all your toiletries (Basic things you will have to buy from them)

Very nice tent, the bed was confortable. The included breakfast was good. The staff was super nice.

It is a bit far from the town, we had trouble finding the location since we arrived at night, but they came to get us and showed us the way which was very nice of them. There was a big ant's nest in the bathroom they were circling the whole room.

Very good

The pool was really nice on a hot day. The shuttle was useful and there was pick up at the airport. Food at the place was cheap (if you wanted extra) and breakfast was basic but tasty. We had a nice hike one morning. The hosts were absolutely lovely!

Very friendly family run business. Slightly out of town but they provide a cheap shuttle service and will also collect you when you want to arrive if you call them. Lovely big pool. I stayed in the perminent tent wooden hut, was clean, comfortable, fan was good enough for heat control. Relaxing and quiet, free breakfast was good and has lunch/dinner if you like.

Would be improved by sunbeds by the pool, also the toilet/shower door didn't close or lock so had to prop a bin against it. Would be easily fixed and make using it better.

We just loved it here ! Perfect setting, rustic, quiet, its absolutely perfect for couples, families etc. Evan and his family are amazing and cant do enough for you ,they helped us book a boat trip and provided a taxi service for us due to the rural location.

Security needs to be improved , perhaps a security box in the tent for valuables/ money etc. Also , its quite expensive to get rides into and out of Coron town which is a factor to consider in terms of getting food etc.

All in all our vacation is amazing.

I like the environment , very quiet and perfect for nature lover. The host/owner is very humble, friendly, helpful and accommodating. They arranged all our tours and pick-up transfers. We didn’t worry anything during our stay. Definitely, we will come back.

Top of the mountain!

The location in the forest was amazing, completely alone in the nature. If you want party and many people, you're wrong there, but if you want to see the beauty of the nature, it's perfect. Additionally, the landlord and his family is so nice and helpful!

The roosters were really loud so you couldn't sleep properly at night, but that's the thing about nature.

Piece of a paradise in Busuanga Island

Where to start. The keeper Evan is very fair, polite and nice person who helped us in many issues. The area of the this resorts is in calm enviroment, so if you're looking a calm place to escape from hustle and bustle of Coron Town this is the place for you. The pool is huge and clean. The breakfast were delicious. There are lovely puppies and dogs. It is a piece of a paradise and we will definitely come back.

If you love nature and you want to experience the true spirit of Coron, this is the perfect place to stay! The authenticity of Mount Avangan Eco Adventure Park is much better than any souless resort in town! The structure is managed by a very kind and nice guy and his lovely family, who will help you for everything (including transfer from and to the airport, organized tours, motorbike renting, etc.). great place to detox. and get away from the busy streets. great scenery. pretty cool at night so no problem sleeping. friendly and helpful staff.

a bit far from the main road and not the greatest road. would recommend renting a bike for the stay. great staff that can drive u to the main road/ city centre or the ferry port for a reasonable price.

Lowkey and relaxing.

We had a very nice stay at Mt. Avangan! The hosts were wonderful and they cooked some of the best food we have eaten in the Philippines so far (sweet and sour chicken). If you are looking for a quiet stay then I would highly recommend. Great value for your money and they have a beautiful hike with a really exquisite view for sunset.

Nice people, beautiful and remote part of coron. The views from the hill top ere gorgeous at sunset

There were activities advertised such as mountain biking etc but they were not present. Also there is no river as seen on the picture Sadly, the River on the profile is empty and there is no mention of any activities mentioned online. there is only a 30 minute hike. It is far from town and you are therefore reliant on their shuttle service which was unreliable at best. Since you are so far from town you are reliant on them for meals but one night they simply decided to not make dinner.

The place is amazing! Our nipa hut was basic but it was clean and comfortable. Ideal for nature lovers and people who want to disconnect from the busy technological world.

We only spent the night there so we weren't able to do some nature stuff. The location is somewhat hard to get to during the rainy season.
