About this cabin rental
This cozy and charming cabin is approx 1,500 sq. ft. that has an open loft that can sleep 2 adults and 2 small children and 2 bedrooms that can sleep 4 with 2 bathrooms. The kitchen and main floor bathroom have been totally remodeled! We have two showers now, one downstairs and the new one on the main living area. There are 3 Smart TVs, wireless internet, microwave, dishwasher, oven, washer and dryer, forced air heating, air conditioning, wood stove, mudroom/laundry room and outdoor deck with a gas grill. We have security cameras around the perimeter of the cabin, but are not inside the cabin. These cameras are reviewed by the property manager only if there was a complaint or an issue. The cabin is walking distance to the Tenaya Lodge, which has restaurants, bar, bike rentals and horse carriage rides. It is a short 2 mile drive to the southern gate of Yosemite and Mariposa Grove. Bass Lake is just 13 miles away. There is also Horseback riding and the famous Sugar Pine Railroad within 2 miles. The community of Fish Camp is a location where parking can be difficult to find, but our cabin has off-street parking enough for 3-4 cars and a drive-thru driveway, which you will find to be very convenient. Our cabin is a non-smoking cabin, NO SMOKING EITHER IN THE CABIN OR ON THE DECK! Please respect this policy, we would appreciate that. Enjoy our cozy family cabin!

Our short stay was delightful. We bbq’d hamburgers, slept well, did our laundry, watched movies, and spent quality time exploring Yosemite. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and we had plenty of bath towels. I’d recommend staying there to anyone. A couple things to be aware of, we found evidence of mouse droppings underneath kitchen sink and upper bathroom sink. We cleaned the bbq but couldn’t put on the cover because it was still too hot. Watch your step taking the garbage down to the cans as the pine needles make the ground very slippery.

The wood cabin set in the big pines was the perfect place. The first 3 days was family in for a wedding and the last 3 days were friends. We all loved the cabin. Very well appointed and comfortable for both groups. Location was right on! Loved it. Thank you to the owners for sharing!

The cabin itself is nice but i guess it had an AC ISSUE because the unit was hot during our stay especially at night to sleep we couldn’t use the portion of the house and we had to all sleep in the bottom floor in one room with fans because there was no circulation of air on the top floors :(

We cancelled the trip last minute due to fire issues on the area. But the host was Kind enough to refund the full money . Thanks Ken.

We had a fantastic time in this adorable cabin. The location was ideal, so close to the Yosemite South entrance. We visited the park 3 days and enjoyed coming home to our little cabin. It was great making dinner and eating on the patio. The kitchen is well stocked including food storage containers. This was helpful since we had leftovers from one of our dinners. The host was very quick to respond and had detailed instructions on how to access the cabin. He suggested pizza at the Tenaya Lodge. We ate there our last night and it was wonderful! We played pool and watched basketball while enjoying delicious pizza. What a great way to end our family vacation!

The house is even more charming than the photos! Check in/out details were very easy and helpful, and the house was very clean. The location is very close to the southern park entrance and a really yummy nice restaurant (The Jackelope) located at a local lodge. 10/10 recommend and would love to stay again if we were to come back to the area!

Great option for a family hiking in Yosemite. The washer and dryer were a huge plus to keep up with hiking laundry after being at the national park for the day. Enjoyed all the space that our family of 5 had with plenty of room for a few more guests.
We missed the king bed not being on the same floor as the updated master bath. That would have been a great addition!
The location of the home was delightfully peaceful and has a beautiful pine smell, truly enhanced our vacation. Check the backyard for huge sugar pine cones, a big hit for our son.

We enjoyed our quiet time at the cabin and proximity to Yosemite. Very clean. Excellent quality and variety of kitchen utensils and hardware - best I’ve seen in a cabin. Comfortable beds. Excellent choice.

Great location and had everything we needed, but was cold in the basement and bed not too comfortable. Also the bathtub and some parts of the floor were a little dirty. Coffee maker also not working. However, overall nice stay.

Enjoyed my stay, no complaints. I didn’t realize there was only a single shower (perhaps I didn’t read the property description closely enough but I didn’t realize the bathroom on the main floor is only a tub) but that didn’t affect my stay.

We loved our stay at the lodge, all as described and perfect to access the park. No problems accessing the park as long as you are up early enough. Scenery of the Yosemite amazing!

We loved this cabin! The pictures on VRBO are accurate and the cabin had everything we needed. If you don't cook you can go to the Tenaya Inn, eat at the Jackalope Bar & Grill or at the Timberloft Pizzeria for yummy Pizza.

Beautiful cabin surrounded by huge pine trees right at the entrance to the park. The mangers were great to work with! The description of the property was accurate and the property owners suggestions were “spot on.” WiFi access was very good. Would definitely stay again and recommend this property!

Lovely little cabin. Suited us very well for a couple of days exploring Yosemite. Enjoyable experience for us and our young girls (Australian) to stay in a ‘bear cabin’! Thanks so much for having us!

We absolutely loved our stay at this sweet family cabin. While it has been lived in and loved for many years, we found it to be incredibly clean; the kitchen, bathrooms, towels and bed linens were immaculate. It has such a great vibe and truly reflects the kind and gracious owners who have been nothing but welcoming and accommodating. There really is a great vibe here. We loved the location as we had one day in the national park and a couple days at Bass Lake- it is perfectly situated for both destinations. This cabin is special and we thank the owners for sharing it with us. :)

Our stay at this lovely cabin in the woods was an excellent experience. We spent most of our time at Yosemite Park. This was a great place to come back to. It was comfortable with excellent amenities and beds. We felt completely refreshed each morning for our next excursion.

Perfect location for getting into Yosemite. Very nice cozy clean cabin in the mountains. Our family of 5 fit perfectly in this cabin. It is as advertised. Directions to the cabin were perfect pulled right up even in the dark when we arrived.

This place it is located just at the entrance of the Park and it is truly what a mountain cabin should be! Personally I think the pictures do not do this cabin justice, it is soo much more gorgeous in real life! We loved every little touch, the John Muir quotes, ( my son just wrote a report on John Muir biography and was so exited to see them) and the view from the loft in the morning, when you wake up and see the forest in the early lights it was just dreamy! We celebrated my mom's 82 birthday and coming from a family of rock climbers and mountain rescue, this place made my mom's birthday extra special! Thank you Ken and Ronna for sharing your beautiful cabin with us! I would give it 10 stars if I could! ( the check in and check out process super easy)

Cabin as described. Greatly enjoyed the distance to Yosemite. The owner provided great recommendations prior to arrival (grocery stores etc). Plus quickly responded to questions. Overall it was comfortable, clean and we enjoyed the deck.

This is a wonderful little cabin. Great location with everything you need. We were close to the Tenaya Lodge where we had a wonderful dinner and went sledding. The only issue was the wood stove was not working probably which was a bummer. We contacted the owner and it is being looked into. Still would recommend this place for a nice get away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our spontaneous adventure in Fish Camp at this charming, idyllic Winter Wonderland Cottage! Such a lovely home, and the hosts are equally as lovely. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we created memories that will last a lifetime!

When you stay here you are close to it all. We were minutes away from Tenya lodge and hikes around there and a short drive from Yosemite main entrance.
Drive down the hill to get some axe throwing in or dinner in Oakhurst.
A great location and plenty of space for a large family to stay in.

Cozy cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a perfect location for accessing Yosemite. You are literally 2.5 miles from the park entrance. The cabin is so cute - very clean, spacious yet cozy. We enjoyed the large deck, beautiful setting and relaxed in the comfortable living room each day after hiking. We would definitely stay here again if we return.

Great Cabin and Close to Yosemite Entrance
Loved this cabin and all the personal touches by the owners. So close to the Yosemite entrance. The cabin had everything we needed. We enjoyed cooking on the grill and spending time on the porch. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing I wish it had were tissues.

You can’t get closer to the Yosemite entrance than this cabin. The neighborhood is great. Cabin is well equipped. Probably the best grill setup of any VRBO we’ve stayed. Great place overall.

Beautiful,Cozy, great energy for great memories
This was our first time at Yosemite and it was the best experience. The cabin was the icing on the cake. Beautiful and clean. Easiest rental I have ever made. Lots of helpful information from owners and absolutely no hassle at all. Nothing went wrong.

Awesome cabin, super super clean, great ease of access to Yosemite
Really loved this cabin. Stayed with family (2 toddlers and husband) and we enjoyed every minute of experience. The cabin is very clean and well upkept. The instructions were on point. Very close to Yosemite.

Awesome, comfortable cabin close to southern Yosemite entrance
This cabin was the perfect place for my family of 6 (me, my wife and 4 kids ages 12-17) to relax and cook hearty meals after long days hiking in Yosemite. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are comfortable.

Perfect cabin!
This was the perfect place for our family to stay in for our first trip to Yosemite. Minutes from the South Gate we were able to enjoy the park, and the cabin, equally. Was just right and look forward to coming back again.

Cozy cabin in Fish Camp
We had a great stay in this cabin. Everything is clean and well maintained. Lots of space, games and entertainment for kids. It’s dog friendly - so there are no extra blankets and bed linens to collect dog hair, which is great… but an extra throw blanket to cozy up with on the sofa or the expansive wrap-around porch would be a nice addition.

Absolutely a gem of a cabin. Yosemite sights not that far away as well as Bass Lake. Grandchildren had a great tIme from start to finish. The room layout is very family friendly. Had the Best time.

Great winter wonderland cabin
We got lucky and had snow and this cabin was the perfect winter gateway. Beautiful quiet forested neighborhood, minutes away from Tenaya lodge skating and Yosemite entrance and Mariposa Grove (be sure to see Grizzly Giant). Cabin is cozy and has personality and everything you would want. We'd definitely come back!

Anniversary Trip to Yosemite
We had a wonderful time! The cabin is charming, and in a quiet neighborhood so close to the South Gate of Yosemite. Everything is well equipped and the jacuzzi tub was so relaxing. Check in was easy and communication was great with the owners. Highly recommend!
