About this house rental
Guest cottage with private entrance in the historical district of Comfort. Within easy walking distance of shopping, tasting rooms and dining establishments. The roomy cottage has 1 bedroom with king size bed and 1 bathroom with double vanity and large rain shower. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen, spacious living area with fireplace and work station. Flat screen smart TV and WiFi. Granite countertops and antique heart pine wood floors throughout. The front porch has a dining area as well as a sitting area and ceiling fan. The cottage fronts on a covered outdoor living area with fireplace where you are welcome! Your hosts are close by should you have any questions but your privacy is guaranteed.

This was the best rental property I have ever stayed in. Extraordinarily clean, very helpful and welcoming hosts, great location for walking and exploring the adorable town. There was a charcuterie board, plenty of coffee, fruit, and lots of other yummy food provided. The towels were plentiful and luxuriously soft. Truly everything to make the stay comfortable was there. Thank you Mary Anne and Chris.

This was a little piece of Heaven. The comfort of this cottage in this little Comfort town was a fresh breath. And the extras took all the comfort up a notch. Gracious hosts and grateful guests that exceeded all expectations. We will be back.

This was our 3rd stay at this location. We love making this our home base, close to Fredericksburg & Kerrville & easy access to I-10. The host are wonderful with everything you can think of for couple of day stays. The sheets are sublime! The property is clean & very cutely decorated. This is one of our favorite properties.

Mary deserves an A++ rating for creating a very comfortable setting for our weeklong stay. The charcuterie board and breakfast items were much appreciated and enjoyed. Comfort is a nice central location to visit towns in the Hill Country area.

Best place ever! We have stayed at numerous rentals over the years and this place by far exceeded our expectations. Exceptionally clean and comfortable! The hospitality was like nothing we have ever experienced! I would give 6 stars if it was an option. Thank you doesn’t cover it and if we ever return to Comfort (totally worth it!) this will be where we want to return to.

This was a perfect location for a weekend getaway. Perfectly located to try out restaurants, shopping, and more in Fredericksburg and Comfort. The property has everything to make you comfortable as well as going above and beyond with the amounts of snacks, beverages, and overall amenities to make your stay perfect. Would stay here again if in the area.

A centralized location for local travel to Fredericksburg, Boerne and others. The host was very attentive to detail and provide many extra amenities, include a charcuterie board with crackers and bread, along with some nice breakfast items. The bungalow was well furnished with everything needed from kitchen utensils and place settings to nice fluffy bath towels, bath soaps, and extras. It was a real pleasure.

So nice and cozy with fireplace and all the amenities we needed! Everything was clean and comfortable! They left us baskets of fruit and breads and a charcuterie plate in the fridge! Such nice touches to make us feel welcome! We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The bungalow is beautifully decorated. Every need is anticipated from throws on the sofa to a soft leather chair and ottoman. We were pleasantly surprised by a lovely charcuterie platter that we munched on for the duration of our stay.

A great weekend getaway
This property is a hidden gem close to Fredericksburg, without all the noice and chaos!! The little house has everything you might need and the property owners greet you with a great snack basket and drinks! The kind side bed is so comfortable and the walk-in rain shower is heaven! We enjoyed this property as a last minute getaway. Also Comfort Pizza is wonderful pizza with a nice outdoor seating area. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again,

Incredibly Homey!
Once or twice a year my husband and I take weekend trips just to relax. This space was incredible, amazing charcuterie plate, fantastic snacks, soft water and unmatched communication. This was over all an awesome road trip. I recommend with my every fiber.

This was our 2nd stay here. They think of everything. I had forgot my toothbrush and didn’t realize it until 10:30, I found they had one for guests. Sheets are marvelous! Property is clean and has everything you need for a hill country getaway Will book again

Wonderful property
We loved our stay in this lovely cottage. It is a perfect location close to Comfort’s shops and eateries It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable with many thoughtful details supplied. A bakery basket, fresh fruit, and cheese platter were a welcome and delicious surprise. Our hosts were friendly and helpful...just perfect! Highly recommend

This was a 5 star hotel experience. The owner have thought of everything you need and more. Most importantly the property is immaculately clean. Linens are high end and mattress is wonderful. The pictures don’t do the property justice. It has our highest recommendation. Already planning a return trip in the fall

A hidden gem!
The cottage far exceeded our expectations, and the listing photos don’t quite do it justice. It is extremely well laid out. The large shower area and comfy bed were amazing, and the welcome baskets were such a nice touch. We would definitely recommend and stay here again

Top-of-the-line Property
This is a beautiful property, an easy walk to the heart of Comfort, and far enough out of the fray for a quiet stay. The house is roomy, well appointed, and very comfortable. The bed is terrific. Mary Anne and Chris were very hospitable and available. Highest recommendation.
