Beautiful boutique hotel in a fabulous location in Sorrento’s old town. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The location was very close to the ferry dock, and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Breakfast was great, happy hour in the evening was nice.
There is a lot of street noise that comes in the room, it was so loud it woke me up. Also the room was billed as having 2 beds, one of the beds was an uncomfortable couch.

Very tasteful with lots of luxury
Shower needs some attention, bottom of shower doors need a good scrape out and cleaning

Excellent location walk away to Ferry/Boat services and 8-10 min walk to Train Station, Hotel is right in the town of Sorrento.
Good Buffet Breakfast
Our Room was "Roman" Executive King deluxe very spacious clean, bathroom was huge, had spacious powerful shower and had a big bathtub.
Turn down service
Had Happy Hour 5:30pm - 6:30pm everyday day, serving Wine & Prosecco.
only disappointing thing was there was a window in the room but it had no view, therefore had to have the lights on in the room the window was faced onto the side street.

LOCATION. Staff. Quiet. Turn-down service was very classy. A/C temp controlled at the room. Facilities. Ambiance. Beds. Room size. Shower (a bit slippery), Room size. Breakfast. Valet park (23 euro. WiFi OK. Area felt secure.
Floor was a bit dirty. The lady at the breakfast seemed that was in a hurry, made a lot of noise and was spraying cleaning product all over the place while we were still eating (before 10:30AM).

Staff was very friendly and helpful
the room as not as it appeared on the pictures, and much smaller then indicated

Breakfast buffet with custom coffee drinks was always fresh and delicious, the hotel is like staying in an elegant mansion - gorgeous decor, lots of marble, breezy staircases. Hotel is in an incredible location right across from the elevator where the ferries leave from, and which offers a wonderful vantage point to view sunsets. The hotel staff is SO nice and helpful, we had a wonderful time!
the mattress was pretty firm, could be more comfy

Loved the decor, typical Italian style
only a small window in the bedroom but we were aware of this when we booked.

Palazzo Marziale is superbly located in Sorrento, facing the sea (although not at the sea front) and it is beautiful, beautifully decorated, with great common rooms, close to beautiful, walkable streets and good restaurants. Staff were great and helpful, and the breakfast is quite complete and nice. There is a happy hour every afternoon, which is a welcome surprise for guests, as it takes place in one of the common rooms and terrace.
We requested to change rooms, and were actually moved to a slightly larger room, which made a big difference, and a much nicer stay. Big thanks for the front desk staff for that!
Our room was exceptionally small, and so was the bathroom. The bed was small for a couple, which made it uncomfortable, and the tiny window opened unto a street that became very noisy in the morning. We were warned we would not have a panoramic view, but this was really no view at all.

Location was central.
Room was upgraded and lovely. We had a sea view.
We were able to walk everywhere.
We walked to train to visit Pompeii .
Took a bus to visit the Amalfi coast. Both were easy to negotiate.
Sorrento is a beautiful place

Room and hotel location.
Our room had no view. The window opened into a tiny courtyard facing 3 other windows.

Everything, wonderful rooms, super location and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Great get togethers with other guests at the complimentary 'happy hour'. Breakfast included was also top class.
Nothng at all to complain about.

Our room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable, lots of pillows and we slept well. Water, tea and coffee and shower gel/shampoo etc. were provided in the room. There was a good selection at breakfast (both continental and some hot options). The hotel offers a Happy Hour every day where wine is provided free of charge.
There is no parking, however the hotel partners with a local garage to valet park your car. Guests have to pay for this service.

A superb boutique hotel. Room fabulous, breakfast super and the location is as good as you could wish for in Sorrento with the sea and piazza tasso within 5 minutes. Sofia, Rita and Luigi very helpful at reception and the property itself is very special. The common spaces and terrace are very tasteful and add a feeling that you're somewhere very different. If you're very lucky you might get the room called 'romance' - I won't spoil the surprise but suffice to say it's fabulous. And finally the hotel booked airport transfer and Vincenzo the driver set the tone for our holiday as he was so polite and courteous even stopping to allow us get the first photographs of Sorrento from a great vantage point.

Absolutely loved staying at the Palazzo Marziale! The staff here was exceptional and truly made our stay amazing. Special thanks to Sophia and Luigi who were so helpful with recommendations on where to eat and unique sights to see. The location and view from our room was wonderful. The breakfast each morning was above and beyond anything I could have imagined! Also, I am gluten free and they were so accommodating; it was very much appreciated. Will definitely stay here again! Can’t wait to come back.

-Location: Great location very close to the lift/walkway to the port as well as a 7 minute walk to Palazzo Tasso (central square) where you can pick up a tour. We ate at three recommended restaurants Luigi recommended and they were outstanding. There is an incredible view of the Gulf of Naples (see attached picture) from the tip of Capri to Naples, Mt Vesuvius, Pompeii, and the outer extremities of the town (Meta), The morning breakfast was the highlight of each morning.. The food was top notch and fresh pastries were delivered to our table with request for a drink order (fresh made cappuccino was our choice)...Breakfast varied each day!
-PM was built in 1492 and has transitioned from a Private villa->Monastery->Private resident (a wedding gift to a daughter-> a 14 room B&B. We spent quite a bit of time roaming the insides finding quiet rooms to read, many plants, fresh flowers. and great ceramic tiles.
There was nothing I didn't lie about this property...except we couldn't stay for longer than our original three days. You can't enough of a good thing!

The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is in a good location.
The room and bathroom were dirty on arrival, even though we were told they had been cleaned. The floor needed vacuuming and the toilet wasn’t clean. The shower wasn’t terribly clean either, with old and mouldy seals. There was a strange smell in the room when we arrived. Everything looks old and dated and tired, including the towels which are fraying.
The bedroom gave on to a very loud street. There is zero privacy when the window is open.
The breakfast food is average at best.
Completely overpriced hotel!
