Very Central Location

The hotel is located near the centre of town and is in a great spot. Easy walk to all pubs and restaurants. Staff are very helpful. We were dr ing and it is in a great spot to drive the Ring of Kerry.

On our final night there were noisy occupants in the room above us. Because this is an old building they were very load and kept us awake until late in to the night.

A central location

We booked a junior suite for 2 nights. The room was located on the street side which was quite noisy with the road and foot traffic if you left the windows open however closing the window blocked out the majority of noise. The room was spacious, but I wouldn’t say the decor is modern it had more of an antique feel to it. The walls are quite thin so you could hear the guests in the room next door. Breakfast is cooked to order and we loved the traffic light posters advising guests of the quiet and busy times. A central location, no parking on site but a public car park a short walk to the hotel costing €3 for 24 hours or free on Sundays and public holidays.

The wi-fi was ridiculously slow when it actually worked. No face washers in the room but a call to reception quickly resolved that.

Lovely staff, fabulous space in the junior suite, great central location.

Lovely breakfast and excellent service. Fabulous fresh coffee.

It was a little strange, there was a buffet set-up but it was table service only, I totally understand that this reduces waste and speeds turnaround time but it felt a little pressured.

Great hotel in the centre of killarney

The location was brilliant. You are in the centre of town and close to the amenities. The room was very clean with modern decor. Elemis toiletries in the bathroom with a jazucci bath. Breakfast was lovely and on time. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great pet friendly hotel. We would definitely return to this hotel.

You could hear other residents moving around at night and the mumbles of their conversations. We stayed in a pet friendly room which was lovely however the patio area (although secure from the road) was not fenced off which meant that the dogs could roam free to other patio areas when unattended.

Would definitely stay there again.

The location is excellent. The staff are really friendly and the breakfast was lovely. We were offered lovely, fresh pastries from the buffet and the food was gorgeous in general.

Centrally located and wonderfully comfortable

We visited The Fairview in Killarney during the Christmas season. The location was central to Killarney, the parade, restaurants, and shops. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was extraordinary, beautifully decorated, comfortable and felt luxurious and modern but with a country home feel.

We can think of nothing negative.

Central location and tasty breakfast

Great location, close to center of town. We upgraded to a 3-bed junior suite, quiet despite a window towards the street. The breakfast was full service a la carte, very tasty and of superior quality.

Unfortunately, the extra bed was not quite as comfy as expected but shaky and unstable such that we had to move the mattress to the floor.

What a location! Fantastic staff, beautiful building and spacious comfortable room. such close proximity to the vibrant Main Street of Killarney it’s a perfect hotel to base yourself.
