About this house rental
Unique Provencal villa, in the heart of a private 20 hectare estate, nestled in a classified forest of umbrella pines, facing the vineyards and the sea. Not overlooked, absolute calm, facing the Islands of Port-Cros and Porquerolles.
View of the sea, the pine forest, or the patio from the terraces and the 5 bedrooms of these 2 ground floor buildings, designed by the family of the owners.
Private access to the beach (10 minutes on foot. 800 meters) through the vineyards of the estate.
Whether you are a large family or a group of friends, take advantage of 5 Provencal bedrooms (terracotta floor tiles, antique furniture and Provençal fabrics), 3 bright and charming bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (refurbished 3 years ago), two large lounges and 3 equipped terraces (tables, chairs, armchairs, deckchairs) with views of the sea, the hills or the patio.
Surrounded by the preserved flora and fauna of the Maures forest, this family home is extremely friendly (dining in the courtyard under the fig tree, lunch on the large terrace facing the sea, etc.) but also allows a lot of independence with its two buildings, its terraces in local stone, its shaded recesses and its immense forest land.
Savor the holidays in the "midday" in their most authentic!
version française:
Rare secluded couple of provencal villas with 5 bedrooms, nestled in a private domain of 20 hectares (50 acres) of local pine forest (only 7 other luxury private villas), without any vis-à-vis, facing the golfe of Hyères and the renowned islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros.
Spectacular view from the house terraces and bedrooms.
Private access to the beach through a gorgeous 10 min walk around private vineyards.
The diverse families setups offered between the large two charming stone houses and the three terraces make this exceptional place extremely convivial - as the traditional "mas" - while also offering a lot of independence, small corners to relax or go for walks, if you want to be sometimes a bit isolated.
The location of the houses on a hill, their exposures, and the unique quality of old stone construction make them always sunny and at the same time fresh and ventilated.
Once surrounded by the trees, the cicadas and all the fauna and flora of Provence, you will experience the most exclusive, relaxing and AUTHENTIC impression of what "le Midi" always was and is uniquely known for.

This property is located in a small, closed domaine next to Ott winery and a 10 min footwalk through the vinyards to Pellegrin Beach. The location is fantastic - close to the beach, a quick car ride to shopping, yet rural and isolated. The small road runs near-by but you rarely hear any cars.
Nature - forest, beach and mountains - surround this 2 building property, and afford it amazing views of the distant islands beyond the golfe de Hyeres. On the sentiere litoral you can hike all the way to Fort Bregancon. Bormes and Le Lavandou are right over the hill, yet far removed.
The rural nature brings some issues, the main one being bugs. There are many bugs everywhere, including mosquitos. There is no a/c except for one bedroom, so your windows and doors will need to be opened to let in the ocean breeze for cooling. Along with it come centipedes, yellowjackets and moths.
The house is basic, with basic bed- and bathrooms. The living room is large with opposing french doors that let you see from the courtyard through the house towards the water. Every breakfast, lunch and dinner was had on the patio. The kitchen is well equipped and practical.
For all its antique feel and interior design, the house could use a bit of maintenance. Cracking and peeling paint here and there, scratching doors and corners that haven't seen a broom in a while. The ground outside is sandy, covered with pine needles, so it's hard to keep a place like this pristine. But a bit of fresh paint and a good clean would go a long way to making this into an even more perfect place.
