Delightful stay in pretty Oberammergau

The hospitality of the host was fabulous - she was pleasant and informative. The location was great as it was just a couple of minutes walk to the centre of town and restaurants. There was free car parking on site. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The bed was great, with nice linen too. Good Wifi and plenty of power points. We had a large balcony (room 24) with a nice view of the mountains. The bathroom was nice, with a good sized shower and hot water. Breakfast was included had a good range of items and was delicious.

Great location, very clean and comfy rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

The location was within easy walking distance of the train station. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Without us prompting, they inquired if we wanted to get the local travel card, which covers the buses to Schloss Linderhof and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which was a huge help for us. They provided good recommendations for nearby restaurants. Breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and clean, with great views of the surrounding neighborhood and terrain.

The single drawback to our room (on the third floor) was that there was no elevator. Getting bags to the room therefore required a little bit more effort. We were travelling with my 81 year old father-in-law, who made it up the stairs ok. Just something to keep in mind for anyone that would have difficulty with stairs.

Best place ever! Fantastic views, balconies, facilities, and the best staff ever! Will stay again!

Fantastic location with wonderful, helpful staff (even made us a to go breakfast since we had to check out at 3:30 am!). Absolutely loved everything and would definitely stay here again. Loved the balconies and the room! Just wish we could have stayed longer!

A little strange that the bathroom door could be seen through but it didn't really matter because it was just our family! Loved the place!!!!!

Lovely hotel in a beautiful town.

The location of the hotel is fairly central but in a quiet location and with the benefit of private parking. The town itself is very attractive with many beautiful old buildings. Breakfast was very comprehensive and well presented.

Great location and lovely staff

Perfect location a few minutes walking from the centre of Oberammergau which is a lovely little town. Short drive away from Linderhof. The room waa clean and spacious, the bacony was great, the beds comfortable. The lady at the reception was extremely nice, answered all questions about restaurants and walks in the area. The breakfast was also really tasty. Definitely recommend staying here if someone is in the area.

The pillows were not comfortable.

Charming stay in Oberammergau

Fantastic quiet and scenic location, with backdrop of mountains, close to train station and town. Beautiful views from balcony. Very helpful to have been allowed in to room early.

Quite nice and orderly stay.

Conveniently located a few minutes' walk from the town centre, this hotel is quite nice and orderly, run with typical German efficiency. I had a comfortable room, a soft bed with fluffy pillows, a clean bathroom, and a superb breakfast. The staff (and the guests) were very friendly and helpful.

Very clean, quiet and familiar hotel. Fully recommended.

Very familiar hotel, well located. Oberammergau is not big so the hotel is close to everywhere in the town. Antonia (the owner) is very pleasant person. I had good conversations with her. Hotel Antonia is above cleanliness standards. It is the cleanest and neatest hotel I have ever been in. I will repeat this hotel next time I go to Oberammergau.

Clean room, clean bathroom! Fresh bed covers, super anti allergic blankets on the bed

Overpriced ! In this area you pay waaaaay too much for a room with grand mother s style furniture in it. And the mattrasses are not comfortable. They dont support your back.

Clean, comfortable, good value hotel in a central location.

Central location, room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast was also good. Especially important in COVID times, the hotel is clean and hygienic.

Easy to have been better

Within walking distance to downtown for restaurant etc Pleasant and accommodating service during breakfast.

No elevator. Try staying on the top floor. No kettle - no hot water. Floor was not carpeted and cold.

It was so good to be back at Hotel Antonia and my stay was perfect, as always (despite some Covid restrictions.) Thank you Erica and Mira!

A suggestion: a kettle in the bedroom would be nice, especially as the communal area is out of bounds with the restrictions.

Great stay near the mountains

Very nice place to be, with a mountain view from the balcony. The breakfast was very tasty and the personal very friendly and helpful. Parking possibility on the property and a ton of restaurants around. I would totally recommend the stay at hotel Antonia.

Highly personable, great location and very very comfortable. Strongly recommended.

Excellent warm welcome and personal approach of the owner. Despite COVID restrictions all facilities and breakfast superb. Excellent parking, very comfortable room and a great shower. Ie hot water and an efficient shower system!. Highly recommended.

For the purposes of my particular trip. Nothing could have been better.

Very good

Lovely room with a walk-out balcony with a nice view of the town. When I arrived late, I was able to call the landlord and they came promptly to let us in. They were very kind and the breakfast was excellent!
