Relaxing adventure

The location is perfect for walking excursions on the fabulous mountains above Lago D' Iseo, the views are amazing (walk to Corna Trentapassi - well worth the hike, quite easy). The hotel is situated close to a very pretty and well kept town (Zone) and the amazing natural Pyramids. The owner Mr Almici is very friendly and entertaining, he gave us indications for the nicest walks and what to see nearby. The whole staff is friendly and attentive to one's needs. Easy free of charge parking and a the hotel serves a good lunch and dinner upon request. Swimming in Lake Iseo is close (20 min by car) in Marone, best at the "piccolo Tahiti" beach. I recommend the place for a nice relaxing weekend.

Nothing really to complain about, onéy a tip: breakfast could be better, it is a little old Italian style and not many local produce. Breakfast in Italy is notoriously the least important meal of the day.

Excellent hide-away in Zone up from Lake Iseo.

Single bed room with balcony and view to the green. Nice road up from Lake Iseo to the location.

Toilet paper was missing. Curtains smelled strongly of smoke.

Peaceful and quiet place, close to the woods - trekking paths start nearby. Very helpful and friendly staff, restaurant worth visiting. Very clean room.

Large modern room. Lovely vine covered terrace at the front of the hotel for all guests. Interesting decor, old typewriters, and sewing machines for example. Lovely staff. The hotel was a very relaxing place to be.

I felt the restaurant was a little pricey but then again, you are a bit stuck for alternatives given the location.

Poor

In a good location for hiking and walking

Very run down, in desperate need of updating. I could say it was cheap and cheerful but it wasn’t very cheerful and we stayed in some lovely little hotels around the lakes for a similar amount which were really nice. Dark and dingy, stained bedroom carpets. Wouldn’t stay again. The staff were pleasant but it’s very dated. Unfortunately nothing to really recommend it.

Pleasant stay in a nice, family-run hotel

I was traveling alone and with a disability and the friendly owner and staff were very attentive and considerate, which I truly appreciated. The hotel is in an excellent position for hiking from right outside the door, and is also near the bus stop - very convenient if you're arriving by train or ferry across Lago Iseo. I had a very pleasant stay overall.

A few more gluten-free options in the restaurant and at breakfast would be welcome, especially by anyone staying for a few nights. Guests should be asked to be quiet in the halls and outdoor spaces after a certain hour.

Room was a bit outdated and there were very few places to put things, although the room was not too small. Breakfast was great. Stuff was nice.

The total experience was a bit strange - but for one night it was ok. The road to the Hotel goes through some narrow streets so be prepared.
